Does anybody know of any UK stockists for official ASUS accessories for the TF700T as I had the misfortune of buying a crappy USB sync cable due to the one that I got with the device shorting out on me and the replacement one that I got from eBay doesn't work at all.
I've already asked on ASUS UK's official Facebook page and I haven't even had a reply from them.
I would have thought that they would have made the official accessories available at places like HMV and John Lewis, but I wouldn't be too surprised if I can't buy them there.
Aw, crap. I hate it when online-bought stuff doesn't work.
Something liek this:
http://www.amazon.com/Charging-Sync-Cable-TF101-TF201-TF300/dp/B007QUBYDY
Keep in mind that the charging cable hasn't changed from the TF101/201 to the TF700, so whatever you can get your mitts on should work. In theory.
EDIT: stay away from this site as far as actual buying goes, but I laughed:
http://www.asusparts.eu/Asus-90-XB2VOKPW00010Y
Charges over 56 EURO for a charger plus cable. Heh.
http://shop.asus.co.uk/
I bought accessories for my TF101 from them and they were fine.
I now use it on my TF700
Hi all...I found this deal on Ebay for an Asus 32gb TF300-B1 (not enough posts to leave a link....google search for "Asus 32GB TF300-B1 EEE Pad Transformer" should pull the listing in the first few entries).
It seems to have the same specs as the TF300F. Is this the same machine as TF300F and therefore can flash ROMS developed for it? Is this a good deal (it's refurbished of course)? worth the bother? etc...
Thanks for any info you can provide!
OK never mind....

I bought a Refurbished TF300T for the same price on Ebay. Works great for me and in great condition. I would definitely recommend preping to put a ROM on it if you get it, mine suffers from some lag in some of the Chrome/Internet browsers, but oythers have reported it as well. I dont game on it so I can't really comment on that, but for Surfing the web, Netflix, XBMC, Reading...media consumtion...it fits my needs perfectly. Will be even better when I get a clean, stock Rom on it.
Since my TF300T motherboard failed (according to Asus tech) They want $200 to fix it. I found that Fry's is selling a brand new Tf300T for $200. I guess I will have to buy that one as Asus does not warranty their parts or repairs. I just bought a case for my tablet and docking station 2 days before my tablet died. It hadnt even arrived before I sent the tablet to Asus.
Please ignore this. I just went to order and it is out of stock. Sucks. I have a dock, a new case for both, and a great leather case for tablet only. what a waste. Thank you Asus for not caring about your customers.
I was only 3 months out of warranty when it went out. I guess I wont be buying any other Asus components for the computers I buy if they have such low quality customer service.

It turned itself off and never came on. No lights nothing. They said it's the motherboard.

Sounds like the motherboard, except they rarely, if ever, go out like that without some kind of impact. Did you try to charge it? I mean if the battery ever comes loose for example, it evidently cannot turn on.
If you bought a refurbished, all the more reason to open it and troubleshoot. You're in San Diego. If you want, I can loan you a working motherboard without audio so you can try to make sure it's your motherboard.

Hello i want to buy original (OEM) Nexus 4 LCD + Digitizer, Digitizer and Battery. There are so many replicas on internet but i want to buy original replacement parts please help me.
Hi! I'd like to buy an OEM screen assembled too.. But it seems so hard to find a good and reliable seller. All one I saw were selling screen with some issues with the LED notification part. And the OEM lcd on etradesupply has been out of stock for months. Besides I considered 140$ for a genuine one on lg spares.com as too high, when a lg g4 is about 350$ or 150 for a moto X (2nd generation). But I would prefer keep my nexus 4 which is still fully functional and whose screen size is rather perfect..
If someone has bought a great screen recently, please share us where do you buy it
Here is an european supplier of OEM parts:
http://stellatech.com/articles.php?cid=10618
And here is an asian one (the products marked "grade A" are the OEM ones):
http://www.etradesupply.com/lg/lg-n...reen-battery-parts/lg-nexus-4-e960-parts.html
Was gonna offer to sell you one but you can buy one here http://www.fonejoy.com/lg/nexus-4/l...-4-lcd-digitizer-touchscreen-acq86270901.html
I know these are 100% original, have used this company many times they only sell new, genuine parts.
Thanks for your suggetions
If you're on europe, or just don't mind to handle the shipping cost , this site is a good option and the parts don't look like some chinese copy.
At the prices mentionned on the websites given above (>=100euros) , better buy a used nexus 4.
Amazon is a pretty good place to go. Most of the other websites ship from China or HK and take forever. I had to get a battery and USB board, I got both from Amazon and they were both eligible for Prime, they both shipped from the USA too.
Anybody knows where to get an OEM digitizer + frame these days? Below 100$/€?

It's hard to get OEM parts for mako now. you can get a entire Nexus 4 phone for ~70$ on amazon.

Sorry if this doesn't belong here, Swappa came up with nothing. I am in desperate need of two Surface Pro/Pro 2 Docking Stations in Europe (eBay US has some but shipping and import are killing me). Does anyone have a supplier that still carries them or maybe have one for sale? PM if you do.
Have you tried negotiating with the sellers on eBay?

it's not them, it's (mostly) the import duties. And also them, as there seems to be a tendancy to charge (far) more for these than for docks that are still available, like the SP3/SP4 dock.
I wish I could be more help :/ do you have anyone you know in the US that could send it to you? Assuming that could offset some of the cost. (I could be wrong though)
This tablet seems really good for its price I'm just wondering if I should risk buying it, the only name it goes by is "Pad 13 Pro" and I can't find any information about it other than from the listings on aliexpress. Has anyone tried this one?
163,93€ for the 12GB+512GB with keyboard plus 7,29€ shipping, the current summer sale on aliexpress brings the price down by 11,22€, the checkout comes to a total of 160,00€
Should I buy it? It only seems to be missing any sort of fast charging, the rest of the specs are really nice!
I've found some information about this exact device from reviews on other sellers, I think it's safe to say it's a scam...
