I'm experiencing some keyboard problems with my HTC One S. The problem occurs when im typing and make a mistake, when i press the backspace key several times it stops working. The handset is literally brand new I've had it for only 3 weeks. Can someone help?
Using the stock sense keyboard? Is the problem persistent with other keyboard?

I'm running the stock ROM from Alltel. Lately my TP has been sucking when it comes to typing on the keyboard. Random keys at random times will stick and the spacebar is the only way for it to stop typing. When I press the delete key once, it will just sit there until I hit the spacebar. Then it will delete the letter and type a space.
I have restarted the phone and the problem persists. I'm thinking the keyboard is going out on me. I don't think it is the OS because the display keyboard works fine.
Any thoughts?
I have the same issues with lag and sticky keys.
I am using stock HTC Touch Pro ROM.
Pressing the center D-Pad button stops the sticky key,
then I need to clean up the mess.

I found a solution. Press the spacebar real hard. Apparently there is a connection lead under it. Worked for me. KB has not gone crazy on me for over a week.
Sometimes, I encounter this phenomena:
I can tap the keyboard and it is functioning (I get feedback vibration and sound) but nothing is being entered to the field of the application.
I tried a few types of keyboards and it happen on all, and in all applications.
A restart solve the problem until next time.

I have HTC Legend (2.1).
I Have a Note 10.1. I just got an amazon basics bluetooth keyboard for it. I'm running into two problems that maybe someone can help with. The first is that running some programs or apps, when I press the period key nothing shows up. RIght now I'm typing my text on the amazon keyboard and pressing the period on the screens keyboard at the end of the sentence. This does not happen in all apps.
The second problem only occurs when running the aim app from what I have sen so far. When running that app, if I hit the backspace key it deletes the previous two characters/spaces.
Anyone have any ideas or clues about fixing these?
I bought this bluetooth keyboard which is designed for IPAD2 for my Touchpad. It seems to connect well and even recognized as an input device. But no key i pressed is working. And normal android keyboard pops up whenever keyboard is needed..
I am using OAT's ROM.. Anyone having this issue resolved please respond.

have you tried typing a key and see if the pairing number appears?
Perhaps try an other rom?
Which keyboard do you use?
hi guys, i have a problem with some letters on the keyboard, when i press them the phone take the letter next to it, i've tried many roms and even with swiftkey the problem is still there..i start thinking it is an Hardware fault..some of you have any ideas?

You can search google for How to Calibrate Touch Screen on HTC Desire S but it works only on some roms maybe on stock rom.
Setting -> Language and Input and try to find calibrate there.GL
