Make a nandroid backup and start removing stuff. Trial and error.
A lesson learned hard is a lesson learned well.
It took me a long time to figure out how far I could strip my rom down without causing problems with one thing or the other.
Pin it to Win it.

Is it the general consensus here that Nandroid is better for this purpose than Titanium? I would think that Nandroid is a bit much for just backing up and removing a handful of apps, when it comes to doing the restore.

Yea, make a nandroid backup and use titanium backup to uninstall things. There is also a thread that has safe to remove applications (you can search xda for it)

titanium backup is easy to use and really nice uninstaller of bloatwares ~

try 2 remove other apps .... try to use titanium back up or root uninstaller.. of course make back up first.. or try custom rom

I second that lol.

May b you should try Titanium Backup Software for uninstalling..
This will be easy for you..

Nandroid or Ti backup is your safest bet. You could also wait for someone to release a vanilla ROM for your device.

[Q] How to uninstall apps from your phone

So basicly I wanna delete MIUI player and maybe one-two more apps from my Khalpowers V4 GalaxyXT ROM. Still when I go to Aplication Manager I can only force close it. So I read some threads but all people say seem so unfamiliar.
Please can someone tell me if there is a program from Market/Internet with which I can uninstall build-in apps.
Thanks in advance.

I think Titanium Backup can do this. In fact I'm pretty sure it can, but I don't have my phone in front of me to verify.

Where's your phone man?
With titanium back up pro you can freeze and defrost apps without uninstalling them for later use or 2nd chances.

Freeze them with Titanium Backup.
If you're an advanced user you can rip them out all together but that's generally not recommended, especially if you're asking an elementary question like this. TiBu freezing is the safest route.

Did that happen since out of box?
I'm not sure if there are any other ways but if that was happening to me I would http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2507905 and then find it.

That's bad luck
Well if you were to root it make sure you follow that thread. Stay away from toolkits. You'll learn more and run into less problems. :good:
And as for the rogue app, if it's not solved then maybe the only way is to root it and freeze or delete it. I'm pretty certain you would be able to find it once you root but hope there are others who know much more than me come and help

Install BetterBatteryStats from the app forum. It monitors network communication.
I don't see 10014 in my list.

How can I delete bloatware on non root devices? I have a lot of friends asking about this. It doesn't bother me because my phone uses a custom rom.

You need root access to delete bloatware, after rooted you can use cleanmaster to uninstall bloatware
And after that you can full unroot your device
Be sure to wipe your cahce after deleting apps........................
Thank you, guys. I know what to do. You've helped me a lot.

[Q] hoje bad is it to do a dirty install on tour phone?

Since last CM11 NIGHTLY update i've been having all kinds of bug. Dont wanna lose anything so I was thinking of doing a dirty install ... But how bad is it ?
do it and find out. make a nandroid backup in recovery first, then dirty flash. if anything goes bad, you have the backup.

Why not make a backup of your user data then do a clean flash and restore your user data?
Well guys, I AM not completely stupid when it comes to things like this but I am a "user" and not a developer. I'm afraid I won't be able to restore later ...

btw, i am a user, not even close to a developer. that said, many users would know more about android than many "developers".
