A core is a physical element of a processor.
You could tell a dual-core or quad-core to use only one core, but with a single-core processor there is no second core to enable or turn on - it just doesn't exist.
It's kind of like if you had a car with a V6 engine - you can't just "enable" two more cylinders to convert it into a V8 - they just aren't physically present, period.
You can't change the CPU architecture to allow for hardware-level multithreading, either.
Can we desolder stock cpu 1GHz cortex A-5 single core and solder dual core 1 GHz cortex A-9 or A-5??????

These components tend to be machine soldered so not really no, even if you did get anew one on the pins would have to been the same which is unlikely

poor wifi receptionWI FI
i was using cm 9. and i used to get full wifi signal,but now i moved to another custom rom and now iam getting only a single bar of reception.
so any one has a fix for it?

There is no such app for ICS yet...rooting is quite easy unless u want to unlock bootloader in order for u to install Roms..

i am using the same phone with kyle open. rom and
oc1 kernel but when i set cpu speed to max 1.2 its still run at 1008 mhz?? with set cpu
After the huge success of my ROM Night Shade for A5 and A7 I decided to port it to A15 too.
There's not much work to do.
We just have to edit 2 files and replace some very small files.
I'll provide you scripts and flashable zip for ROM.
You have to edit files in the way I tell you.
IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE WITH ME THEN HEREBY YOU FOLLOW EVERYTHING I SAY BUT YOU ARE FREE TO GIVE SUGGESTIONS.
The one with good net connection will upload the rom so he must have some apps to be added as system apps.
Download a very small file explorer but it must be a free app.
Hacker's keyboard, it's very small.
Zeam launcher... It's too very small.

In the scripts, delete loopy smoothness script.
It has problems.

I am using nikai tab NMID7007, with A13 cortex A8 1.0GHz processor. Can some one help me how to upgrade os on it? It dosnt have system update option in the settings, and I couldn't find any topic on xda for this
