PDF reader which zooms page so that it fits the screen? - Motorola Atrix 2

I have tried several PDF readers including Aldiko. The problem is that when I am reading a page, I need a feature which makes the text fit to my phone window. Because by default there is a lot of extra space around the text. If I zoom , scrolling become difficult as scrolling down results in scrolling the page to left/right also. Any suggested reader for my purpose?
So basically, a reader which zooms the page to custom amount but the text should not move left and right while scrolling up/down

Adobe reader
Sent from my MB865 on ICS

Okay, so basically i was looking for 'text reflow' option ! Hidden gem!

A good EBook reader

I've searched a lot but still haven't found any software suitable for my needs.
It should have Bookmarking ability and also should have finger scrolling. It should have reasonable amount of options (font size tweaking etc.). Night reading (Black background white font) option would be a plus.
Any recommendations? Thanks
Have you tried MobiPocket? It doesn't have finger scolling, but you can turn forward or back a page by tapping on right or left half of the screen.
I think it has every other feature your looking for, and is very easy to use, especially if used in conjunction with the desktop app.
Hmm, it is pretty good. I'm missing finger scrolling though. Also, it doesn't really adapt to the screen really well in WM6.5.x (because of the bottom bar).
Any other suggestions?

True Full Screen viewing in PDF ?

Good day all,
i have searched the forums thoroughly and have been unable to find an answer.
I was looking for the best reader and after seeing allreader and mobipocket, i actually dont mind adobe pdf and using my finger to pull the pages down.
however, my query is if there is a hack/fix to allow true fullscreen for viewing, removing the bottom bar as well (as this bar is still there in fullscreen mode)
What would also be useful is if it were able to program the vol up and vol down buttons for scrolling
Now what are the odds?? Half an hour ago I was looking for absolutely the same thing with a friend of mine. We weren't able to find anything similar. I would appreciate some help as well!
I am looking the same thing
Yeah, me too.
We all are, lol
i gave up searching for a working pdf reader, i just convert them to .txt files and open them with alreader...
but if someody finds a real pdf reader I'll kiss his shoes
comicreader mobi has real fullscreen support but it doesn't support pdf yet. you have to convert them to cbz or cbr files (make images from each pdf page, add them to a zip and rename to cbz or to a rar and rename to cbr).
You can disable the toolbar in full screen mode via registry. It looks really good once disabled. I am on the train now, so cannot remember the keys but will reply again with the keys unless somebody else posts before me.
i will begin my search again tonight to find one.
i tried the allreader way before posting, and the tap bottom of the screen to turn pages is very nice. I will play with font size etc and see ho wi feel about that.
however it would be so easy to read pdf's from emails etc without converting if i could get the full screen reader.
don't get me wrong, its very usable as is, but such a waste of screen real estate while reading the pdf

that would be amazing.
looking forward to seeing the registry hack
People always knock wm, but you gotta love the tweaking you can do.
There you go:
HKCU/Software/Adobe/AdobeReaderLE.25/KeepToolbarInFullScreen
From "1" to "0"
-->Softreset
On Adobe Reader-->Tools-->View-->Full Screen
Double Tap to exit fullscreen.

Great tip. Thanks a lot!
here you go
VolDpad: Use the volume buttons as a d-pad

good job pal, thanks a lot
hmmm
itsa bit tedious to click the volume button that often as it only scrolls 3 lines per click.
anyways to make it scroll a whole page, or better yet, enable kinetic scrolling in pdf or enable that feature in allread that allows you to change pages by tapping the bottom right part of the screen?
thanks for all the help
Trash the LE Reader and search for the Adobe Reader for PocketPc 2.0 recompiled version for ARM processors. I hope this is legal, because Adobe seems to hide this version somehow. It has:
-Reflow
-Full Screen
-Tap to Scroll
I use this now for several years and it is still the best.

Is it this: click here ?
I don't get the part with "ARM processors"
Yes this is the right version. I installed this one (german version) and it didn't work on my HD2. After a longer search I found a version recompiled for ARM processors and that version worked fine. I recommend you try this one first and I will look if I find a link to the other version.^^
EDIT: OOOOPS sorry, I was wrong with the recompiled version. It was TCPMP recomp for ARM. Acrobat reader 2.0 should work fine.

Browser text box zoom

I'm on Android 2.1 on a Galaxy S. Is there away to have the default browser zoom to text boxes correctly?
I'm basically comparing how it works to the iPhone, and when I double tap on a block of text I want to read it zooms in past the width of the text box and I end up having to scroll left and right or having to pinch to zoom out a bit.
Using auto-fit sucks because it reflows the text in a very ugly way, especially if there is an image on top of the article.
Practical example: going to Gizmodo, Engadget or NYTimes and double tapping on an article in the main page. On the iphone it frames it exactly right, you can see the image and the text just fine. On my Galaxy it zooms past the text and image. I tried changing the font size but it still does it.
Is there a browser on the market that does a better job at this? I've tried Skyfire, Opera and Dolphing and they all do the same.
Why is it so hard for the browser to detect the width of the block of text I'm trying to read and zoom just to that point? It's a pain having to pinch every time I want to read something.

prevent webpage from zooming in with chrome

It seems every webpage i load with chrome is zoomed in. I have use my fingers to zoom out like on this site the right side that shows who posted is off screen and i have to move the browser window over to see it or use my fimgers to zoom out to make it fit on screen. Any way to prevent a page from loading zoomed in ?

reduce scroll flick momentum / inertia Pro 2

I have an MS Surface Pro 2 with 8.1 will pdf scrolling inertia issues.
I have an issue where the screen will scroll very quickly as I take my finger off the screen after dragging the screen. It is something that only happens accidentally and is impossible to reproduce on purpose. While reading a pdf, web page or looking through files I will drag the page a few inches and as I lift my finger from the screen it will jump, scrolling several pages very quickly.
I changed the values to 64 for inertia and friction for all instances found in the registry which seemed to fix this issue in file explorer and Microsoft word but it still happens in internet explorer and the stock reader program with pdfs. As a work-around I am using my arc mouse to navigate pdfs however I would much rather fix this problem.
