[BETA] Easy Cloud Notes

Hey everyone!
Need your help again with my next BETA Android app
It is again focused on the cloud. This time, it is a note taking app that you can sync to various cloud services (even in parallel).
It supports the common note types:
Text notes
Checklists
Photo notes
Audio notes
Drawings (coming soon)
Currently supported cloud services:
Dropbox
Google Drive
Box.net
SugarSync
SkyDrive
It doesn't use any custom views and should be pure Holo

Strange, should be working (with txt files for text notes and also images in the Photos folder).
Could you kindly disable and re-enable Dropbox sync and capture a logcat while you do that?

Now they showed up! But it creates ".txt.sha1"-files..?
But the "No notes" text shows "behind" the entries...
And maybe if the user could be able to only show titles in the list, that'd be great =)

The "No notes" issue is fixed, thanks for pointing it out! Google caches should be updating in some hours to deliver the update
Good idea on the title-only setting.

Interesting project this is super early in the process, but already looking good what is the goal of the app, with so many alternatives? Not that there is no room for another alternative, just asking how this one will differentiate itself.

I just didn't find any note app that supported syncing to multiple cloud services in parallel. That's the main reason why I created this app.

Hi, this is a nice project. Any means to try audio notes for free ? I dont want to repeat the awful audio quality of evernote for instance.

Hmm.. Well, good point actually.. I have been using colornote before, and currently I am using keep from Google - exactly because of the cloud capabilities.. One thing I miss in Google keep is the option to password protect the start of the app..

Thanks
Providing some amount of free audio and photo notes for users to test it is a good idea. I will think about it.
For now, I can only tell you some insights:
The app is using the 3GP output format and uses Android's built-in AAC encoder. My tests had pretty good audio quality...

Edit : and thanks for the password protection Would encrypting the notes before sync to cloud, and decryption when returning to the phone be considered in the future? Eg, while in the cloud, the data is encrypted?

Hey, any help in translating would be awesome! Check out the project at GetLocalization: http://www.getlocalization.com/EasyCloudNotes/ I'll update the strings with the most recent version later today, but you can already start with the current strings
Encrypting files in the could would eliminate the option to edit them in the could... So it's not on the roadmap for now...

About SafeCam
From now on, your photos will never be exposed.
SafeCam is a FREE camera application that secures and encrypts your photos, you can use the camera and take as many pictures as you want, however, in order to view the photos, you will have to provide a password.
Using SafeCam, you won't have to worry anymore that someone will have an access to all of your sensitive photos.

Yes, I have. So here it is:
Generally, I really like the idea of this app. A real secured camera with all the encrypting stuff, which is a big plus.
The GUI is very simple and intuitive, and I like the whole features. I'm definetely going to use it so much (With my GF (lol))
Waiting for more updates, keep it up!

Instagram client for Gear 2

Hi all!
My latest app, Gear Instant for Instagram, is now available in the Gear app store. It's an Instagram client that lets you view your photo feed, explore images around the world, and see images of specific users.
Here are the features available in the initial release:
- Access Home feed (latest photos of users you follow).
- Explore popular images around the world.
- See photos of an user (Load profile).
- See each image's like count and the message.
- Like/unlike photos.
- Refresh sections for new content.
- [Upcoming] Follow or unfollow an user.
Warning: videos cannot be played at the moment. They will be displayed as still images.

Hi there,
Sorry for the inconvenience. There are two possible reasons for this issue:
1. There are problems with your 3G connection. You can try connecting to a stable WiFi network, then start a fresh Gear Instant session to see if it works. If it does, then your 3G might be either slow at that time (images still being downloaded but not pushed to the watch yet) or unstable that it could not get any response from Instagram server.
2. The wearable app cannot connect to the phone side. This is a known bug in Samsung mobile sdk. Try toggling Bluetooth on/off on both the watch and the phone to see if it helps.
Remember, always start a new session of the app when you have trouble. To exit the current session, swipe down from the top edge of the screen.
Let me know how things turn out

What's the exact message that you see in the app? A picture of the message is much appreciated. Thanks!
Also, when you launch the wearable app, open the My File app on your Samsung device, check the folder named .Gearstagram to see if there are pictures there.

i Decompiled Your PhoneSide Application And The Source is OK !
but the .Gearstagram Folder is Empty on My SGS5 !
i tried connecting to internet with my HomeBased Wifi and 3G but the folder is empty!
after all i found the problem !!!!!!!! :
Huge Number and Large Photos on my feed , so i tried logging in with another user and check Instagram Popular Photos Around The World and thats is ! It's WORKED !!!!!!

Has this been removed from the Gear store? I saw it last week, but just did a search for "Instagram" and all that came up was an unrelated app (CameraAce for Gear).

took long time to load ....

I can still find it.
But as far as I know, paid apps shouldn't get attention on this forum.

Yes, you are right.There are more and more apps in play store.BUT different apps have different characteristics,different people will like different styles.Our app is the only.It's more Safer and more reliable and it has Intuitive interface for a nice experience.The important thing is that it is constantly optimized to improve.I hope you would like it.Thank you very much.

Great!! Amazing job with the update to hide pictures Im really pleased with the app. Great work!!

The app is great, but the email password recovery should be optional. The way it is ruins any security the app offers. If someone is using my tablet then they have access to my email and thereby my "private" videos/pictures.

Everything is cached. I did major improvements in the Google Photos loading process. Only new photos are loaded and not all every time! Also thumbnails don't expire anymore! New photos are mapped automatically now! It's just crazy how good it performs now...
Here is the Service Provider Dialog where you can switch between the data sources within seconds:
Supported data sources:
Your local storage (device folders)
Google Photos (in combination with your location history for the FIRST setup)
Google Drive
OneDrive

PS: I will also try to integrate the cloud support to the full gallery as well!

I can't get this to find the zip file i download for location. And when i paid for the app originally, i didn't have to mess around like that anyway

Just select the download folder where you've downloaded yourt file. I improved the instructions recently. I'm sorry, but currently there is no other way. Also, thats only needed once!
if you purchased the previous version, you will get that one for free.

Okay, i was doing that before but I've now got it to work. 2 things.
First your instructions need to state 'you won't see the downloaded file when searching for it, just choose where you downloaded it to and press okay' second saying it may take a minute or two is a serious understatement, it took about 10 minutes! My phone is a galaxy note 8 so no slouch.

Thanks! I just published an update (should be available in a few hours), where the parsing dialog dispalys the current date of the parser, so the user can see the progress. I also improved the dispalyed messages.
