My screen brightness is great and working, but when I try to watch a YouTube video in full screen and High Quality, the brightness drops, which never used to happen. Any fixes?

This a known issue with the ICS update. No way to fix it. The only way I got around it was flashing CM9.

Sense 4 doesn't have this issue. It's another alternative.

Thanks for sharing.
I hate having to exchange these damn phones 3,4,5 Times to get an acceptable one.

Mine doesn't. Maybe you get HTC to have a look at it, you might have a faulty device.
I've had this rattle with vibrate on all the HTC phones I had (Hero and Desire).. annoying especially when typing with vibrate feedback. (Have to add though that with the option to make vibration shorter it got a little better) .. On the other hand, tried iPhone4 and NexusS and the vibrate felt really "tight" and much smoother.

I noticed when browsing the XDA forum via web browser, that when I tap the screen and hold, there is ever a slight shift in color tones. When I let go the color returns to normal. (I'm sure its on other sites as well that aren't on a white background). Has anyone else noticed this?
You can test by browsing XDA, going into a post, zooming in, and tap and hold around someone's avatar. Usually the icons around the avatar will become more pronounced when tapping, and look at the color of the background.
This might be a normal thing, but would love for someone else to test it and report back on it via their Sensation.
Last thing I want to do is bring this one back and swap.
I noticed it when I was choosing apps from my home screen.

Do you notice it browsing XDA? But not via the XDA app. Tapping and letting go?

i noticed it on the browser too on xda site, not tired any other site. but i think it could be software, maybe hardware but most likely software, anyone else got anything on this?
I just noticed also on the stock News app. White background, but when scrolling background turns just slightly pink. When done scrolling background goes back to white. Could be the app, but would appreciate if anyone could try that as well!
Yeah I noticed it on the xda app

Yeah I too just noticed on the XDA app,I haven't noticed it anywhere else, but I absolutely love this device. This should have been the Nexus S IMO.I will continue to test and will report back what I find,my wife also has the Htc Sensation 4g so I will check her phone also.

I would upload a pic,but shootme won't work for obvious reasons. Is there any other app I could use that doesn't require root?
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA Premium App
Okay I just downloaded XDA premium and XDA free on both devices and checked many other apps and the browser on both mine and my wifes sensation and here is what I found,I was able to replicate the issue on both phones only in the XDA premium app
And I did NOT find this to be an issue and could NOT replicate it in any app nor the browser and also not in the XDA free app.Cheers

I don't know what your setup is, but you may want to post this in your rom's thread to see if others experience the same...

You sure you're not covering the light sensor with your finger while on landscape mode?

I actually had this happen to me earlier today, I'm running the new CoinDroid and after I watched a youtube video my screen brightness went all the way down.

Same thing happens to me on the most popular ROMs too. No workarounds at the moment.
I believe is a bug within the YouTube app

Anyone else just getting ridiculous refocusing while recording? Any tips? The recording seems a bit of a let down compared to my HTC Amaze.

In low light environment, yes the auto focus is not robust and sometimes I have to manually tap the screen to get the video clear. In bright light, it's fine. I have never used Amaze so no comparison here but I am overall happy with my one s's video shooting capability.
