We are pleased to announce the first release of Virtuous Infinity.
This ROM is the first ever which brings the full Sense 4 experience to your favorite WVGA device.
Thanks to great effort of our M10 team (including Cypis, Diamondback and Flemmard) we finally cracked the new m10 format to bring you the lastest HTC software!
It is based on the 1.11.401.110 release RUU of VilleC2. We would like to give special thanks to Football for the RUU.
This build currently is a X-Series release, however, it is suitable for use as a daily driver if you can live with a few minor bugs.
We hope to have the ROM feature complete as soon possible. Check bellow for a full list of what is working and what is not.
Infinity is the result of a collaborative, team effort by the following developers:
chrisch
Flemmard
tbalden
Diamondback
cypis
rmk
mdj
cjward

I was on cm9 when i downloaded this ROM, so once it finished downloading i held power to boot into recovery, once i got there i hit mounts and storage and manually formatted system,sd-ext,data,and cache, went into the advanced recovery menu and wiped dalvik cache then did wipe data/factory reset and i cant get cell service. So i toggled airplane mode and when i turned it back off now im getting the no sim icon and no service. Ive rebooted and everything any thoughts?

*edit*
It could have just been after the initial setup. I removed my battery and sim and replaced them, i will try to log it next time, but it happened so random. Anyways great job team Virtuous..
*edit again*
So it looks like every few seconds or so my phone wants to give me an X for service. Im on the stock shipped Radio and Rev HBoot could this be causing the issues
*last edit*
Also photogrid chops all my pictures up with lines and stuff

Download it at home will try when I'm back from the gym
But yeah never tried virtuous before....our even sense 4

Were you having these problems on CM previously?
I know it's a pain, but just try wiping and reflashing. I think you just had a bad install for one reason or another
Really cute kid you've got there
Also, does anyone know what the difference is between this and Primadonna? Aren't they both Sense 4?

No the only ROMS I have trouble with are ICS Sense ROMS so it could trace all the way back to the Radio. I dont want to try the wire trick because I will most likely be losing my ds. So egh had tons of fun while it lasted.
But yeah that little girl is daddys world. And I have a photo album setup for her and her only for the PhotoGrid, so maybe ill give me phone a few and try again.
*who knows I might just say screw it unroot ota then JB

im loving sense 4 but sense 3.6 dock was a bit cooler
extremely smooth launcher will test it out for the day
awesome job guys this is my first virtuous rom

It's weird though, stock radio should be working fine. You never messed around with flashing a new radio? Then it should still work as it did out of the box. Unless the rom you're running specifically requires an updated radio, you shouldn't need to flash a new one
Eh, if that's the case, then just stick to the roms that have been working for you
If it ain't broke, don't fix it :silly:

Enable 4 finger multitouch?

I noticed that on my tab it came only with 4 finger multi touch enabled. but after rooting it, there is a patch to utilize 10 finger multitouch.
could this be the same for our desire s?
or is the hardware limitting it to only 4?
i do find it annoying, some apps i use require more than 4 touch points!
we share the same screen as the dhd, so many their bigger forum may have the answer?
any ideas appreciated!

haha! thanks for the speedy reply... yeah i guess its not that necesary... and i dont really use the apps as much on the desire s...
i just thought it'd be a nice feature?
-------------------------
sorry to go a bit of topic... but just a bit puzzled to why you havent updated to the hyperion kernel??
its basically unity9 modified with 100% no bugs
- no front camera bug
- stereo recording works
- ereader works
- fixed fc problems in most apps
its great!
i also tried hyperion rom today! suprisingly its fast (or even faster than VoidU)
or maybe its because i didnt install my apps yet!
but back to voidu as i missed the customizations (quicksettings + rc tweaks) and couldnt be bothered to set up my device again.. so just did a nandroid restore

You've just sold it to me, I'm persuaded, I'll give our ago then..
I figure that the ROM is one to watch, once it's got some further tweaks in it..possibly in a version or two, looks like it has great support , especially if voidu had no further updates
Although with a new LBC on the horizon it's great to have so much quality choice
I'm really hoping for a sense
3 ROM with a custom kernel that takes the correct advantage of the new hboot and the septate lib partition

Yeah
Looking forward to the new LBC myself!
I agree with you, if VoidU doesn't get anymore updates(from the dhd) I will have to find another sense 3.0 Rom base to get updates etc
Sorry for my ignorance, but what are the advantages of the new hboot and lib partition?
I still haven't updated my hboot yet! And are you on the latest official radio from sense 3.0?
Is there high battery drainage with it? I heard some people had these problems. I'm currently on the leaked version, which works great for me... Just wondering if its worth upgrading...

I'd say that there is currently no advantage to upgrading until custom ROMS come out that take full advantage of it.
Basically (from my understanding) it halves the size of your CACHE partition to 150Mb which in theory could later on free up 150Mb in system by moving the LIB directory to its own partition using the space taken from CACHE....which as a result will then free up 150Mb free space in SYSTEM, which could be useful for larger sense 3.5 ROMS further down the line....so I believe that its probably increased the lifetime of our devices.....once we use it correctly - anyway!
Hope that that made sense?

Yeah ! Thanks! So it basically means we get more memory free which could be useful for future roms with heavier UIs which may need more storage?
Anyway, forgot to tell you! The ereader issue is still there with the latest kernel available, however the Dev released an update for the Rom which fixes it! (He said there will be a separate kernel update soon) however, if you can't wait:
I asked him if he could provide the patch for separate kernel users and he posted this
lowveld said:
Sure! But I want to check out what the issue is with clean installs, because probably the new kernel ramdisk is not setting up something by itself, and if I update it now it could cause clean install issues in other ROMs.
I don't have too munch time today, so you'll probably have to wait for an "official" post from me.
If you want to try it out anyway, do the following:
- Replace the boot.img on the kernel v1.1 update on post #2 with the boot.img you find on the kernel folder on Hyperion update on post #1. Flash.

Worked for me
See whether it works for you! You may not care about it if you never use ereader... I never use it aswell, but I just want to have a Rom that fully works

I don't think multitouch with more than 4 fingers is very useful as it would cover most of the screen area
Off topic:
I tried voidu a few days back but it seemed slower than vu to me & the fb sense widget kept refreshing constantly so I stopped using it.am I missing something? Should I try again?because I keep hearing so many positive comments about this Rom
& also have you tried the runny Rom? the browser on this Rom is very fast because of htc's optimizations, but battery life seems to be bad right now

Exactly, we'll that's my take on it anyway! So until then keep the larger CACHE and stay where you are, I upgraded and can't be bothered to go back CACHE never fills up anyway!

I never really use ereader either, but if I can fix it I may as well! So just to make sure I'm following correctly:
download the v1.1 ROM update and take out the boot.img and put that into the kernel zip overwriting the boot.img in that and then you get the new updated kernel, which you can flash?

Yeah you have to overwrite it, not delete it and place the new one :/ i tried that and it did not work.
You have to overwrite it. Took me a couple of attempts before I got it to be flashable!
Just on a side note, I renamed my nandroid backup (to the rom name and date) now its no longer bootable :/
It says md5 sum fails. I had to go back and re install the whole void u ROM again!!
Shame you cannot rename the backup folders (to avoid confusions of you have multiple backups)

The kernel version on the first post#2 of Hyperion is v1.1 so it looks like he updated already? I'll compare the two boot.img file to see if I need to change.
I normally rename the backups through either (used to do it through ROM Manager) but now do it through 4EXT app and never have issues
Did you just rename the /sdcard/clockworkmod/Backup/NAME directory through a file manager? But, I'd have though that that would have been fine!
Sounds like you were un-lucky! Yuck!
Also recently noticed an intermittent issue, where the wifi indicator shows no bars on notification bar yet has full signal and is connected and operational.
@kartkk
I'm about to try the BEATS add-on from the Hyperion ROM to see if it works on VoidU! just taking a before backup! will report back

never used VU, so can't compare, plus don't use FB widget! sorry to be of no help! I run VoidU at 90% stock speed and find it perfect, good battery also. Each to their own, I love the inclusion of RC3mix3d tweaks in settings that permit extra visual configuration especially the tailoring of the quick options screen and notification bar.
Hyperion looks like current hot property! BEATS just included as patch! LBC new version to come also.
I have tried Runny but wasn't for me at the moment when compared to VoidU, fonts a little small and inconsistent although I liked the sense v3.5 experience, I figure that that ROM is only going to get better so I'll try again in a while.

Aha
Seems to not make a dramatic difference in sound quality! Sounds pretty much the same as srs.
When you plug in a pair of beats headphones, it wil automatically switch to beats mode! (According to what I read)
I'm gonna try it with my mates beats pair tomorrow
So, what colour is your default notification bar? I kept mine black , because the white patch isn't the original one from htc

The writing for beats audio is unreadable. It's because the font it black .. and blends in with the black background. It will be a bit annoying for me now when I listen to music!

New build pics attached 1-27-2012
This build from the WCX Illuminati Team is dedicated to those who use the Inspire 4G. Everything for the AT&T version of this device is pre-configured for AT&T, there's no need for any gps fixes, mms fixes, sound fixes, internet fixes etc., it's good to go from the get go...just install the ROM.
We always recommend when first installing these ROM's to reboot the device a few times to ensure everything settles in real nice prior to usage/customisations. We have kept the stock rom look for enthusiasts looking to theme or customise their phone the way they want it.
We have included most all stock apps and utilities people use on these devices, and have left out things available in other ROMS that we feel most users will never use or can install themselves The device has tons of storage for those that want them.
What we've created is a very fast, sleek, customisable and finger friendly ROM. It's been tested very thoroughly before release, there were zero claims of SOD's or anything not working.
**********READ BEFOREFLASHING**********
One note to new users...this rom uses the stock recovery in order to have charging animation....in order to flash mods etc., you will need to download and flash latest version from CWM, but then you will loose charging animation....Be carefull adding scripts, the rom is already scripted for undervolting and battery life, other scripts may impact the way the rom performs
***************************************************
Can return to charging animation by booting back into regular Hboot and flashing this to get the charging animation back after your mods Thanks homeslice
There are four types of builds available:
FULL WIPE IS RECOMMENDED
ALL Builds are stock on the outside and tailored specificly for AT&T

These roms have been giving me the best GPS. No scripts, patches, or hacks required.
I was lucky to see the progression of these builds. What they are now is incredible! Beware: once you use these roms for a while you will never be able to put up with another stock Rom again!
I'm was absolutely in love with sense 3.0..... Then when wild child hit me up with a sense 3.5 based Rom I was blown away...
You will NOT be disappointed! GUARANTEED!!!
When in the right area, data speed won't be an issue. This about as good as it gets for a hspa+ enhanced area. Best peak yet. (And no, this is not on wifi)
Im on the new MikRunny rom. This is tempting me to switch over, but there cant be THAT much of a speed difference...

These roms don't have all the tweaks and eye candy. They are built for speed and stability. They are meant to be an enhanced 3.0 and 3.5 stock experience, but can be modded at ones own risk. They are smooth and solid bases that have been tweaked to run best on the Inspire. Wild Child has done an awesome job with them.

[ROM][TeamNekkid][Kang][LAST DAY] G2x CM 7.2 RC1 (8/5/012)KANG BANGER!

This Thread Was Transferred To http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1647622
Today Is The Last Day For This Thread, DJ will have his own thread, enjoyed being with you FOLKS, wish him all the best
Hello Everyone:
Have you heard about ROMs Broker?...LOL..I created such career
This ROM BY ALL MEANS NOT MINE...
It belongs to TeamNekkid, tried and found it smooth, stable and battery friendly.
So why not to share it with you Bros?..
I HAVE TAKEN PERMISSION FROM THE DEV to post it here under his name
Here's HIS OWN WORDS>>>>>>>>>>
Thanks to TeamDouche and all of the coders that make CM possible. Special Thanks to @RyanMacG for hosting our builds.
If you are a noob and want everything to "just work", this may not be the rom for you. This is similar to a nightly from CM but has some extra goodies baked in.
If you can't handle some things possibly being broken, please don't use this and then complain to me for building it.
This has a custom Boot animation from @rascarlo! Thank you sir!
Cherry Picks:
* cherry picks in latest build:
* Default volume control media
* Disable render effect for screenshots
* Add option to mute media when silent mode is toggled
* Allow focus sound muting for Camera
* fix memory leaking
* libm: fix invalid result of function remquo/remquof
* Fix memory leaking in the VM
* Don't cache toasts
* Free memory allocated by strdup
* Fix file descriptor leaking
* fix possible file descriptor leaking
* Torch: app had too much "old" and deprecated code
* LatinIME: Add ability to use volume rockers as cursor
* allow using PLMN and SPN text as part of Custom Carrier text
* Toggling the flashlight from the lock/pattern/sim unlock screens
ICS fonts and customizable miui-battery-bar..

I've had my original G2x since launch week. I flashed this ROM a couple of days ago and It has never worked better.
Finally I can use GTalk with the ffc, and from WiFi calling to A2DP everything works as originally planned. Start-up and shutdown are quick and I haven't had any hangs or reboots or serious battery issues. The CM7 mods are a huge bonus of course, but bigger news is that all of the basic functionality of this phone is complete for the first time.
This is definitely the best ROM I've ever tried for my G2x.

Waiting 10 Minutes to use the Rom is a complete waste of time. Not needed at all. Android does everything at boot. The Rom is ready to go after about 20 to 30 seconds after it boots up. Waiting 10 Minutes and rebooting and waiting five more minutes gives you nothing more than a placebo effect. 15 minutes of your life lost, that's all.

I spent 3 hours flashing last night lol backing up apps, then nandroid, and then wipe. Then I flashed the rong rom, and forgot to flash gapps. I rebooted into recovery again, flashed gapps and realized that I flashed the rong rom. So I had to rewipe and flash the new rom. Then I rebooted and realized I forgot to flash gapps again, so I did a full wipe and reflashed again XP

Ya you are right if you don't have any issues with it, but if you can see "Most of the XDA DEvs advise to wait at least ten minutes" ;just to give some time to the ROM to settle down. However as i said before, this extra 5minutes after reboot is my own experience and to be honest first time tried was with BIONIX ROM, when DEV said that..So i kept it like a habit for me.
Actually i believe it and it's not PLACEBO , in the end of the day it's up to you

Someone would say, OK waiting 20 to 30 seconds is a waste of time as well, this placebo effect..ROM is ready immediately , No prove !!! why 20 to 30 seconds, why not 10 to 15 seconds!!
As i mentioned it's share of experience, that's all about it..I'm not claiming i'm "Master Google", just user ...believe in help and share..

I will not be held responsible for any damage done to your device. I only say this so I don't get sewed or accused. Download at you own risk. So far I've been running it for a hour and it's working great!
Change Log:
Mega's_Sense_Preview2:
Chinese New Year Theme
Purple Passion Theme
Mytouch Power Control Widget
Removed Sense 4 Clock.apk And Replaced It For No Glitches Anymore
Enjoy
How's everyone like the new Rom? I don't suggest it at the moment.. Its just a preview and this is just the most stable one out of them all.. Trust me O_O Basically only 1 thing is changed from JustWorksTechnology is the sense 4 clock but I already have many other stuff working on it.. This is just a "preview" for now.. Now I go to bed lol.. Enjoy Oh and yes it 2.1 sense.. Good night!! lol
Whats to be expected in preview 2:
Mytouch 4G Slider Widgets
More Sense Widgets
Sorry for quad posting but an update will be released soon with new widgets.. This isn't really taking the Rom out of preview, it's just giving it a small update. Also there will be more Sense skins.. By far this is one of the best Sense Roms with signal..
Can I port this amazing Rom to the EVO LTE?
And what do you mean by this is the best sense 2.1 Rom with signal? NewSENSE, mikG, S.S. don't have signal anymore?

No see I try a lot of Sense Roms and they always go into roaming so I just tried this one and it has to be the best with staying out of roaming. It will go into it here and there at points but it has to be ONE of the best with that.. Im not saying it is the best.. Thanks and yes you can port it..

I think that signal is more dependent of physical attributes rather than software or ROM. I appreciate your work man. I see your actively contributing the community, and I don't post much but thanks for your work. I usually get ignored after my posts, but I would like to say that in the ROMs Drob mentioned, there is an option in the tweaks to set the phone to Sprint only under roaming. It prevents the phone from going into roam. There's also the option for Roam only. Just thought I would share that since you are having roaming issues. Also latest PRL updates help. Can't wait to try this ROM out when you get a final release. Looking for a new daily ROM.

Thanks for liking my Rom, I've noticed that stock android, when you roam you can still make calls but, on sense you can't and could you send me that method? Thanks!! Also my PRL has been updated, I have no upgrades on towers in my area for next 6 months sadly.. Where I used to live, they have 32 upgrades or something like that. Kinda made me mad but o well I enjoy my evo shift Thanks again!

It doesn't roam because HTC and sprint don't want you to know you are roaming. Adding the1x icon is mod we add to let us know our real signal strength...

It just uses a 1x icon that switches when you drop out of 3G to edge data network like cm7/cm9 roms have. I thought data had nothing to do with cellular reception but IDK. Kind of like how you can activate a phone with no data plan?
Sent from my HTC Evo Shift using xda premium
You did to edit a file in the systemui.apk to show the 1x/3g indicator. You then decompile the classes.dex file and search for something called htccdmastatusbar.smali file. You change a line or two from 3g_cdma to 1x, then recompile and pack it back up and push the apk back to the phone...I guess you could also insert it into a new rom then flash.

I don't know anymore, my head is being poked with a stick by android.. I'm tired of listening to android.. (not freaking on anyone) I've got to take a break for quiet a while because I haven't been hanging with my family a lot lately and that's pathetic and stupid of me.. I'll check in every 2 hours or so but I got to "chill" with this android stuff. I don't wont to loose my loved ones Btw this is based off of JustWorksTechnology's Rom read first lines of my OP.. Thanks and preview2 will be uploaded probably tomorrow It does have a mytouch widget and some more themes
You don't know what kernels are in your sense roms? I understand completely about taking a break, but please take into account that kernels are GPL and must remain open source with a public link on the threads if your using a custom kernel. If your using a stock kernel like cm7 or whatever it may be you don't have to provide anything because they have their own github repo's. Thanks for your work for android and I must also take a break for awhile.
Sent from my HTC Evo Shift using xda premium
Well I guess I need help with "kernels" because I know everything really but not kernels and some other things...
Edit: It's stock
There are plenty of good kernels you can try if the devs let you add them to your roms. Strapped and x99percent are two that I know of that have their kernel sources in order and public.

Enabling AOSP style recent apps in Nocturnal Tweaks (Hot reboot after enabling)
Bugs:
Data Usage in settings, doesnt work right
Slider lockscreen pin, is asked every time phone wakes, regardless if set to do otherwise
AOSP Lock Screen Incoming call Workaround still isn't working
Coming soon:
Reduce size of rom (after bug/theme fixes, this is main priority)
Theme fixes
Squash remaining bugs

finally some AOSP with Sense camera apk
downloading and will update with the result.
Does this have the same lockscreen incoming call issue that cleanrom dev edition have?

its still sense rom based, but as much sense removed as possible and replaced with AOSP alternatives, or themed to look AOSP ICS. Except camera of course.

I believe so, im going to try to port coredroid over, mainly for AOSP Recent apps and it appears to have a AOSP Lockscreen incoming call fix. Also would you mind removing my quoted post, it takes up to much space
Looks good! Gonna try it later tonight

I hope so I know since the GS III came out there is a lot of temptation to switch over to it. I had the GS II and Its a great phone but the community for the One X Is so much more welcoming in my opinion GS II Forums got a little hateful made you afraid to ask questions. I know you don't ask for donations but you put in the time and effort to make us a great rom so its only right to show our appreciation, The great developers like yourself truly show what the one x has to offer.
