Today Is The Last Day For This Thread, DJ will have his own thread, enjoyed being with you FOLKS, wish him all the best
Hello Everyone:
Have you heard about ROMs Broker?...LOL..I created such career
This ROM BY ALL MEANS NOT MINE...
It belongs to TeamNekkid, tried and found it smooth, stable and battery friendly.
So why not to share it with you Bros?..
I HAVE TAKEN PERMISSION FROM THE DEV to post it here under his name
Here's HIS OWN WORDS>>>>>>>>>>
Thanks to TeamDouche and all of the coders that make CM possible. Special Thanks to @RyanMacG for hosting our builds.
If you are a noob and want everything to "just work", this may not be the rom for you. This is similar to a nightly from CM but has some extra goodies baked in.
If you can't handle some things possibly being broken, please don't use this and then complain to me for building it.
This has a custom Boot animation from @rascarlo! Thank you sir!
Cherry Picks:
* cherry picks in latest build:
* Default volume control media
* Disable render effect for screenshots
* Add option to mute media when silent mode is toggled
* Allow focus sound muting for Camera
* fix memory leaking
* libm: fix invalid result of function remquo/remquof
* Fix memory leaking in the VM
* Don't cache toasts
* Free memory allocated by strdup
* Fix file descriptor leaking
* fix possible file descriptor leaking
* Torch: app had too much "old" and deprecated code
* LatinIME: Add ability to use volume rockers as cursor
* allow using PLMN and SPN text as part of Custom Carrier text
* Toggling the flashlight from the lock/pattern/sim unlock screens
ICS fonts and customizable miui-battery-bar..

I've had my original G2x since launch week. I flashed this ROM a couple of days ago and It has never worked better.
Finally I can use GTalk with the ffc, and from WiFi calling to A2DP everything works as originally planned. Start-up and shutdown are quick and I haven't had any hangs or reboots or serious battery issues. The CM7 mods are a huge bonus of course, but bigger news is that all of the basic functionality of this phone is complete for the first time.
This is definitely the best ROM I've ever tried for my G2x.

Ya sure, this ROM is optimized by the DEV, i always doing this..
Little bit paranoid, but with every ROM works perfect ...
After Complete Wipe...Never touch till 10min, then reboot it and don't touch for another 5 min,..then go..
This my experience not the DEV one's ..

Waiting 10 Minutes to use the Rom is a complete waste of time. Not needed at all. Android does everything at boot. The Rom is ready to go after about 20 to 30 seconds after it boots up. Waiting 10 Minutes and rebooting and waiting five more minutes gives you nothing more than a placebo effect. 15 minutes of your life lost, that's all.
Sent from my G2x or my Kindle running ICS. You decide.

I spent 3 hours flashing last night lol backing up apps, then nandroid, and then wipe. Then I flashed the rong rom, and forgot to flash gapps. I rebooted into recovery again, flashed gapps and realized that I flashed the rong rom. So I had to rewipe and flash the new rom. Then I rebooted and realized I forgot to flash gapps again, so I did a full wipe and reflashed again XP

Ya you are right if you don't have any issues with it, but if you can see "Most of the XDA DEvs advise to wait at least ten minutes" ;just to give some time to the ROM to settle down. However as i said before, this extra 5minutes after reboot is my own experience and to be honest first time tried was with BIONIX ROM, when DEV said that..So i kept it like a habit for me.
Actually i believe it and it's not PLACEBO , in the end of the day it's up to you

Someone would say, OK waiting 20 to 30 seconds is a waste of time as well, this placebo effect..ROM is ready immediately , No prove !!! why 20 to 30 seconds, why not 10 to 15 seconds!!
As i mentioned it's share of experience, that's all about it..I'm not claiming i'm "Master Google", just user ...believe in help and share..

Yea,its recommended to wait to make sure there's no issues in the future.Better to be safe than sorry.besides People act like 10 to 15 minutes it's a century, just go do something else

RELEASE!!
One more major point to make. This thread will be treated with the same respect I asked for and received on the Captivate forums. I do not and will not stand for any thread flaming. I have been working with XDA and Android for quite some time so I feel this is not asking much. I help any and everyone and have never left a question unanswered. If you ask a question in my thread and do not get an answer within 24 hours please feel free to PM me and I will answer it personally.

Future Changelog
This is mine for the future changelog even though it is included in the ROM zip by default.
Changes from TPGB-CM20110508 TO TPGBCM20110508-revised:
1. New MMS apk(should fix issues)
2. Newly themed swype
3. Build.prop fix so no more Fc.
4. Apps do not install automatically anymore after flashing the ROM. Sorry, I know that must have been annoying.

I am using 12.39a.60.19_26.06.06.30_M. Works great! Great call quality and so on
Does this have the audio fix or do we still need to flash it?
Adam,
If a monumental CM nightly drops, how long of a delay should we expect to see this updated? I know you have a life/family/job-hunt/ect that must take priority, so this is just a simple query.

If something huge drops I will get right on it. Shouldn't be anymore than a day or two after it is released I would guestimate. Please feel free to PM me if you notice it before I do. I always love a good heads up, it just dropped type of PM. It is the can you do this, or how do I do that I am not to fond of but will still answer.
Yo Adam, I hope you caught my edit about HAC and a1026, they need to be off in build.prop. Otherwise, looks great so far. Downloading now, and um, thanks for the thanks?
Edit: If you have battery life drain, edit your build.prop and set these to 0 instead of 1:
Code:
media.a1026.enableA1026=1
htc.audio.hac.enable=1

Keep up the good work!
Got it downloaded now, just contemplating in when to flash it. I have not been liking TiBu app restores lately so I have been reinstalling apps the old-skool way and am not sure I can dedicate that time atm.
Looks like a decent changelog for the next nightly that gets built (whenever that is, been pretty random lately) Couple ACE specific changes, but just system.prop values.
Glad to see you here, Adam. I used your Captivate ROM's all the time.

Another release which bring absolutely no support from me because i don't have the phone atm and it's lewa...lol. Now, if any you guys are feeling like your bank accounts are just too full then hit the donate button to help me fund the remaining money to get the replacement phone lol
Download is on 2nd post, 3rd post will be for screenies/ whatever i want lol.
It's based on cm7-9b released by our awesome team acid and it's an i9000 port.
Thanks to:
Team Acid(Fb, m4xm4n, bhund)- they provided our cm7
Everyone helping on CM
Google - they bought out android and made it big
Lewa for OS lol
Instructions on how to flash, read or ill hit u lol
First place rom in root of sdcard.
The follow CM's instructions to flash their cm7
When you get to the point of flashing their CM flash lewa instead
and you'll be golden.
You will need to flash gapps with this as with cm
WARNING:
THIS IS AN MTD ROM WHICH MEANS FOLLOW THE CM INSTRUCTIONS
And..i ain't responsible for your ish, lol translation flash at your own risk. Damage to device is not my responsibility it's T-Mobile's lol -- this is a joke, as we all know (if ur new then you will know now lol) anything outside of the stock firmware we do to our phone is at one's own risk and failure to device will be your responsibility thank you for your time.
bugs:
adb not working.
bluetooth not working.
camcorder crapping out.
idk can't test lol
#2
First Build
Download:
Download from here....lol
and #3
This is LEWA
Again this is a WIP. It's gonna be a hard one too cause I can't figure out why ADB will not work with it. So if you like what you see and can deal with some things not working and know how to get on to MTD have fun. If you don't stay away. Oh and that first shot is a theme not what comes with the ROM. So yeah themes work. lol
[/COLOR]So is this a stable build as in an alpha or is it like a rc10 build of cm7
Oh no, another WIP... I'm sure some other member posted in General Section that he was going to port this after MiUI or CM were finished, maybe you should be working together? Anyway, I'm looking forward for screenies, I have never seen LewaOS and their page is in Chinese or something. Although, it seems to be like MiUI.
Keep up the development rolling. Thanks!

Yep Gapps are in place...only time you need gapps are for roms like cm7/9 and variants which next build of cm7 will require gapps

Already played with the ROM and I experienced an issue with the screen brightness being over saturated with white or something. Even with Auto-brightness turned off. Love the transition effects btw.

I am curious. Are all these roms ports from samsung vibrant/t-959/GT-I9000 eugene373 based roms?
I ask only because you are saying camcorder broken and I may be able to fix that as I own both phones and my camcorder broke on my vibrant even though the regular camera works, and I had to jump through a lot of hoops with debugging to find out and fix the problem. Part of it had to do with camera firmware incompatibilities, but also with the media server crashing the audio server by overflowing a buffer.
This is a problem that started when eugene373 bought a new phone and stopped most devel on the vibrant and things started breaking shortly after as he (and myself) are two out of only a few who really know the true inner workings of the samsung phones well, and I have been so slammed at work I have not been able to contribute to for some time.
Note: if its based on cm7, that's most likely a eugene373 vibrant based port he helped with after he stopped developing full time on vibrant, and we are going to need to get working on some serious debugging cause I dont think he ever managed to get that working on the vibrant cause samsung does it a little different.
Anyway, due to our recent um... shall I say, fervent disagreement in another thread. I would like to take this as an opportunity to present an olive branch as I may be able to help ultimately fix this once and for all.
I will be working mostly blind however as I made a promise to myself I wouldn't do anything to my blaze other than root, and learn its systems for the first few months before I went crazy with mods/roms etc. However my old vibrant is fare game to completely break and fix as much as I want.
So if you can start by telling me what "broken" means (force close? phone locks? reboots phone? doesnt save audio? garbled picture?, does it happen right when you try to switch from camera to camcorder, or only once you hit record on camcorder?) I'll take a look at what the problem is and see if I can help in any way. Also if you have a logcat -v time of when this happens from the a few moments before you enter the camera app till 10 seconds after the problen occurs, that would help point me in the right direction.

nope this juggernaut port is from the s2 from whitehawk as stated in the OP
and lol about our differences of opinions, it's water under the bridge bro not everyone agrees on everything...and my info mainly came from an article that seems like carrieriq released and took down but (http://www.androidcentral.com/carrier-iq-gives-lengthy-look-how-it-works) this kind of explains what i mean that the app isn't the only way carrier iq works. In my old phone the sgs4g there wasn't an app for carrier iq but it was still working. anywho, help is always welcomed but maybe we can wait til you're ready to work on it non-blindly ;P
This one seems to be the only rom which has multi language menu. Thank you for the port !

All is quiet on the development scene

I knew this summer was going to be a hit for the Doubleshot, but it seems all dev action has ceased since then.
Anyone know what's been going on with our device lately?

Well it still has some issues. The major one is not going to deepsleep. Then the force close from portrait to landscape and back again. I'm racking my brain trying to figure it out though because I've gotten way more Widgets from LG added

I still don't have a development box to start developing so that first before the WIP since I would need to pull the whole CM build and compile it just to make this recovery. I don't think my good old vps is enough to do this kind of job and I'm not also considering to reformat my windows PC just for this.
I think it has been a pretty good summer for development on our MT4GS. We've got a nice crop of ICS roms to choose from, either AOSP or CM or several Sense flavors. It's a smorgasbord! :highfive:

Well Sun_Dream has worked on our phone with a bit of Sense roms if you dig that.
"HTC Doublshot ICS Bliss" sporting Sense 3.6: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1896643
and
"Doubleshot Android 4.0.4 Sense4.1+4A Base Ville_U_ICS_40_S_2.31.401.5": http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1832805
Both seem solid, didn't quite test them out as I'm digging XMC's Jellybean.
Should be a lot of development when Sense 4.5 comes out though I sense ports coming.

Still won't be that helpful to me since we got a crappy internet in our country. Pulling a whole CM build would take me like almost a day of non stop downloading to do that
Unlike on a vps I could just pull both cm7 & cm9 in 30minutes

Ok so where I'm at now. I have figured out I didn't need to use anything from the EVO Shift to get this LG launcher up and running. So its not a port anymore ( so it lost andromaus settings which were cool but caused wakelocks ), its more so a launcher replacement, all other cm9 functions work like they should. So right now I'm trying to figure out how to post it, and here are my posting options I can either
1. Just package all the launcher and widgets as a flash over for any CLEAN INSTALL OF AOSP/AOKP ( will need testers for AOKP ). And a certain set of gapps so the gallery don't get broken
Or
2. I can just pre package everything into a CM build ( gapps and all ) so nothing gets broken. Its your call here is a couple screen shots. And if anyone wants to give it a try just pm me ill get you a dropbox link

I don't know about other people, but personally I'd go with option 2. You will have a lot less bugs to deal with and give yourself more time to focus on improving it and adding features. I don't know what you think about that but that's what I'd go with

er1kmm's Experimental Build FunHouse!

I like this title on another forum so i kanged it kinda lol anywho
to everyone that might want to test here's a test build : AOKP Milestone6 unofficial unofficial
lol this doesn't have aroma or twrp and is just one i compiled by downloading the aokp source(which wasn't easy now that their ics branch seems to be gone lol) and has an older version of cwm 5.5.x.x or something like that bc i was having trouble with latest cwm but it should have every other change. It does include latest changes to the team acid kernel(jeffsf changes included and splash included since this is fb's rom) only reason i made this was because i was trying to build with linaro toolchain to test if it's actually faster lol anywho if fbis251 finds this to be intruding in his work i'll remove it...i dont plan on releasing just trying to see if that lights error is fixed on this build or i just dont get it lol
here paranoidANDROID-1.6a from source hopefully with the ligths issue fixed here as it works for me lol any feedback would be awesome
paranoidANDROID-1.6a
finally im not responsible what happens to your device from flashing this...
clean flash the rom the ics gapps...if u need any more info to flash then this isnt for u enjoy.
I will be adding random builds like linaro builds if i can get it to build lol and other stuff just for fun

Thanks for working on this. These are the "bugs" I've come across so far:
No auto brightness (not implemented) - Any flashable zips out there to fix this?
No/weak GPS lock (NY, USA) - Not sure which modem to get, worked on AOKP m6b5
Can't flash TWRP, same error as when trying to flash it from CWM 6.0.1.0 (Status 7)
Any help is greatly appreciated and let me know if there is anything I can do to make your job easier.

Good job dude (erik), I just finished syncing w aokp source but had problems w building so, I will pause it til this weekend and take Jeffsf's advice then ...and great to here u built this w linaro toolchain ...
Sad thing is, I dropped my phone while sleeping (LMFAO WTFG) and now, (after a drop bfore), screen crack and somehow it is acting xtremly weird like wacky touchscreen and suddenly shut down blabbla...^^...yeah, thats that, time to say goodbye to this phone now haha (or will try to borrow one from my friend quick cause still want to build sth for this )...so, galaxy Y for me now lol
P/s: yay, managed to borrow one from my friend for a week (lucky to have a friend using same phone) so, will try hard to build things this week

OK, so at first the weather panel wouldn't show in the notification drawer and on the lockscreen it read N/A. I fixed permissions and now it shows up in the notification drawer but it can't seem to find my location, same with 3rd party weather apps. I tried disabling it in ROM control, clearing caches, re-enabling etc. Navigation works fine, so it's a weird one. I tried flashing the padded KJ6, but it's the same thing.
Can I just pull some files from the FBs AOKP to this one (from zip to zip) to apply the auto brightness fix?

Don't try that just yet. It'll be a little bit until erik probably gets the hefe KoD changes merged into this rom. (DO IT! It's pretty easy, just make a new branch and pull from jeff's repo, there are only two changed files I believe)
I think jeff would know best which binaries will be different in the output zip so that you can pull from rom to rom but I still wouldn't recommend it.
Yeah I can wait (getting a Note II tomorrow) so I'll just go back to your build for now.
