Should have time to give this ROM a spin today after work. Got my phone last week, rooted and CWM over the weekend. Tried installing USB driver on my 5 year old Vista laptop, now it's full of viruses :crying:
What's the difference from this and your other ICS themed ROM?

Excellent ROM! :good: So far, this ROM has given me the best Quadrant score out of three other roms that I've tested (3208). It also feels faster than other roms.
Question though; Is there any way to get MMS through wifi working? I've been told that the problem is on T-Mo's end, but it works just fine for me on the stock rom. Also, how do I keep the image I select as a wallpaper from blowing up after it has been cropped and saved?
I recently had mms working with wifi calling, only receiving though not sure what ROM though. Just scored 3560 in quadrant standard edition on blue squadron for comparison

From what I know it is an issue with tmo, and on stock it goes through by turning data back on to send pic while on wifi.
Other than that, I believe it is zeam that has the wallpaper set that way. Have you tried wallpaper wizardrii. I always use that app for wallpaper

I thought the same might be true, but the thing is, I get no cell reception at home, so I rely solely on Wifi to send and receive SMS and MMS messages. I've been using my work phone to send myself picture messages (verizon) and they come in and go out fine via stock ROM and wifi calling. On custom ROMs, messages just get stuck saying "sending." Eriks "Dark Knight," ROM will say that sending will occur when services are restored (or something of that nature). Any ideas?

Is anyone having problems getting their WiFi connected? Mine acts like it is turning on then just shuts off and doesn't recognize any networks.
sounds like you have an ip conflict. go to settings - wifi and you will see "error". reboot the router/modem/phone and see if the problem persists

Did a restart of the phone and initially thought it may have been a bad flash/download but it keeps doing it. It doesn't even populate the networks that are around. I don't even get a chance to try to connect to any. When I try to add the network manually it says that it is unable to add the network and wifi is turned off again.
Edit: Also the MAC address says unavailable under the advanced menu. I don't know if this makes a difference but I would think that it should show whether or not it is connected to WiFi.

I have a question about stock..
-stock means no battery percentage right?
-If true, what's the easiest way to get the percentage in the status bar instead of just an icon?

Ok guys this is Konikubs Elite Series rom updated with the latest OTA kernel and the wifi is fixed.I kept everything intact, nothing was changed as far as the graphics/theme goes and no tweaks added, its as original as you can get. This rom is fast and smooth,so i hope you guys will like the new updated Elite Series IV.The actual problem i was having with the wifi issue was a corrupt driver.I also had to edit the market updater to keep the market from losing the transparency, otherwise it will update and go to the default theme.
Discalimer:I'm not held responsible for what happens after you download this rom,if you follow the install directions, there will be no problems.
Installation:
1)Download the rom to your desktop
2)Connect your phone to your computer
3)Drag and drop the rom onto your sd card
4)Right click the icon in your taskbar and eject your phone
5)Go into recovery and do a full wipe(everything,BUT SD CARD!!!!DO NOT WIPE SD CARD!!!!)
6)Go to flash zip, then find zip to flash and install the rom
7)First boot after wiping takes longer, but when you finish the set-up,go to system update and update your profile and PRL,then your golden.

I'll throw my suggestions in again... Tommytomatoe's Legacy Classic rosie (permission pending of course) and an original HTC keyboard in black. I know the seperate quick setting tab in the drop down is everyone's favorite but I really like Koni's small icon quick settings at the top of the drop down. Maybe a way to alter which settings show up there.
I like those suggestions. I would like to see an adherence to the original with regard to theming, wallpaper, etc. Koni's creativity and the clean smoothness of the ROM were what made it unique, and a fan favorite.
Team Viper Lives!
All menu backgrounds a transparent black with white text. Swype themed black.
The clock widget and wallpaper are essential. I've yet to find a more stunning clock. Maybe just update the center of the eclipse with the ES4 label.
This was my post that contained the link to the original's review on The Droid Demos (credits to Brent!)

I like the idea of the Legacy Rosie, too. A ot of Tommy's tweaks would work well with this ROM, and I can do something for the stock Wallpaper. I had made and ES II wallpaper at one point that was nice.
Just one thing, Koni had a unique shade of a deep blue that I just love.
It's very close to #0e06b3 for anyone themeing this.

Anxiously anticipated by no one, I present the creatively-named PharmNerd's ROM.
SCREENSHOTS HERE (SPOILER: It's Stock Themed!)
The Goal: Dump the bloat, add a tiny bit of functionality, but still retain all of the useful stock features & appearance. Since not everyone wants to be stuck with the apps that I find useful, they're all uninstallable.
About the only things here that aren't included in other ROMs are Google's Car Home & Desk Clock (so you aren't stuck using the awful Samsung Car/Desk Home apps). Also, the stock battery indicator shows yellow or red to indicate low battery.

Theme is pure, unadulterated stock (plus Dman's EPM mod). Aside from the non-stock kernel, there are only some relatively tame build.prop tweaks included, to avoid introducing any new bugs outside of what the stock ROM includes.
Since I don't plan to do big system-level tweaks in this ROM, I expect that any future updates will be available in CWM-flashable patch form (so you don't have to set everything up again from scratch).
CREDITS: bedwa (Infusion kernel), bigfau (for video fix), dman3285 (for UCLB3 base and EPM mod), MaliciousIntent69 (for helping me iron out some of the kinks), qkster (moral support)
INSTALLATION:
Copy ZIP file to your phone's internal SD. Make backups of any app's data you want to preserve. Internal & External SD card contents won't be deleted; everything else will.
Boot Into Red CWM (Completely power off your phone, hold volume up + volume down, then hold the power button & release power button when the Samsung logo appears. Continue holding Vol Up/Down until you see the CWM menu).
Once In CWM...
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Wipe Cache
Advanced --> Wipe Dalvik Cache
Mounts & Storage --> Format System, Format Data, Format Cache
Flash ZIP file to your phone
Advanced --> Wipe Dalvik Cache again, and Fix Permissions (maybe not necessary...just in case)
BUGS:
HDMI-out does not work. Fix: Use SGS Kernel Flasher to flash Entropy's latest test kernel (as of 4/15 this will cause you to lose desk dock functionality).
FEATURES:
UCLB3 Base [Rooted, Deodexed, Busybox, Zipaligned]
Infusion-GB Core A2 kernel
Dman's EPM Mod for Infuse
TWEAKS / FIXES:
Screen stays on when plugged into desk dock [WHEN DESK CLOCK APP OPEN]
build.prop tweaks (proximity sensor timer, force launcher into memory, 100% JPG quality, render UI w/GPU, Touch/scroll responsiveness, Photo/video quality, wifi scan interval increased from 15 to 30 sec)
Video playback works (thanks bigfau)
ADDED (All in /data/app, allowing easy uninstall):
FasterFix v1.6.1
Galaxy Dock Sound Redirector v1.8 (for dock audio with Google car/desk apps)
Google Car Home 2.2.1.4
Google Desk Clock v2.0.2 (modded to run in /data/app, renamed from "Clock" to "Desk Clock")
Google Talk 1.3 Installer
SGS Kernel Flasher v1.6.2
Swype Installer v2.0
Titanium Backup v4.9.0.2
REMOVED:

My goal here was to keep everything looking as stock as possible.
But, the more I dug into the APKs, the more stuff I found that could be tinkered with. I can totally see why most of "almost stock" ROMs have the "almost" part. It's so hard to resist changing stuff up.

Well, crap. Looks like that tweak didn't work. Guess that'll be a 1.1 feature.
I think I need to use something other than APKMultiTool to recompile apks after xml changes.
EDIT: Hmm.. It does stay on when the Desk Clock app is open. Not sure if the XML change I made in framework-res.apk had any bearing on that. (?)

This.
Hasn't been updated in ages, but whenever I try a different launcher, I always come back to Launcher Pro. Mostly because I like how I can map a second app to each dock icon that opens when I swipe up from the icon (some other launchers have this, but the implementation always seems a little glitchy).
Looks good. Good job on dropping a new release

Is a fantastic slim rom, GB 2.3.7 goodness what more to ask for
It takes on the resemblance of iOS in many ways possible super sleek, fast and under 70mb. Its beautiful :victory:
It doesnt have 4G. But its in the works, you can count on it coming
There isn't any other way to describe how awesome this little rom is so lets move on to what works and what doesnt.
- Working
so far everything looks solid
- Not working and issues
4G. Its coming soon
Notifications in status bar doesnt fit on one line
usb mount is hit or miss
Whats planned in the future of this rom you say?
Well, 4G, some nice tweaks, and some theming done to make it look a tad more like an iPhoney
Now lets not forget the credit thats needed.
Thank you the.emilio
Thank you megaghostgamer
Thank you Cyanogen Mod
Thank you Joy OS team
Thank you XDA
anyone I miss? let me know in pm

Make Joy look more like an iPhone
The best part about android is you can theme it to what ever you like
You will need the following apps:
Espier Launcher
Espier Browser
iPhone keyboard emulator
iPhone Notifications
Chomp SMS
These are all free apps that will make your Joy install look like iPhone a bit more
Last but not least, you are gonna need iPhone wallpapers! (these are not flashable, decompress and move to your sd card then apply with a file manager)
iPhone iOS 6 wallpapers
one more for me
First! Nice job on getting this back up and going!
Good work!
And Nice music collection....
How do I get rid off the international roaming message in the notification bar?

I actually really like this..... Haha

So far working great. The only issue I've had so far is the status bar force closes. Tried a permission fix and that didn't work. Anyone else have problems with the status bar? Can't wait for 4g or a JB update...that would be nice!

I only have issues with the status bar when i have it plugged into my computer and tap hide in the pull down.
does it crash all the time, or when a specific action was done?
Nice, and I hate IOS haha. good work man!
My status bar crashes and never comes back...probably try reflashing the Rom.

Its getting there
Just wanted to say that I tried this out to have fun with a few friends that know I loathe what Apple vomits down the throats of consumers... and it's actually pretty nice!

Easy enough fix... just change the font!
I'm not sure what I chose atm but I also think there's a tool to scale fonts if someone wanted to fix the proper font for the rom. Something I looked into before roboto became the standard for Android and I thought I'd try the alternative.
I may find a sound pack, an ios theme for ICS keyboard and then Nandroid a backup to play with from time to time!
When trying to set up Exchange email, Settings force closes when the account begins to set up as Device Administrator. Aside from that, everything seems to work.
Any idea how to get USB to mount

Welcome to those that have used TigerBlood. I'm going back to basics and paying homage to the first custom rom I installed on my Sidekick 4G....ay0teddy's GingerClone. Making this was so cool because it gave me wonderful memories of how excited I got just watching that Nexus boot animation on my screen.
Enjoy and remember....I take no responsibility if you happen to brick your device. Use at your own risk!

Re: [ROM] neXus GB [2/23/13]
For some reason, FTL is really lagging. For the next release, I'll be switching over to stock Gingerbread launcher. It behaves so much better and it does keep with the Nexus pure Google experience.

EDIT: Done. Everything runs smoother now. I am not going to use LauncherPro or ADW because I'm going for the Nexus feel here, guys.
Just installed, seems smoother than other ROMs I've used.
Really digging the old school look.
Also looking forward to future updates!
(When I hit Menu, there's nothing between the 'Search' and 'Settings' buttons, that's the only thing that looks a lil' off. Messenger could go without that pink like your other build.)

Thanks! I wanted the old school look. No fancy stuff....pure Google 2.3, y'know? And I love ay0teddy's Gingerclone.
I'll switch to green in the next update. That pink stuff is disgusting, I know...lol.

Re: [ROM] neXus GB v1.2 [UPDATED][3/01/13]
I managed to remove the pink from the messaging app. Now, it has that Gingerbread look to it. Uploading now.
As far as the empty space, that has more to do with how the dev of the app made it. Sorry.

I noticed that I did not remove the pink in Messaging completely. In landscape mode, that pink line is there....I'll take care of that.

Thanks, I'll update tomorrow.
I'm surprised there aren't more people on here that dig Gingerbread.

Ehhh I just use them all I switch between roms trying to help ric out with anything messed up
Since rubix was just about finished I've been using his roms I think I may come back to this rom soon
I would really like to see green status bar items idk why I just like them being light green they look nicer
Or even better flashable .zip that would change the status bar items colors using the lockscreen method replacing one of the tabs in display an allowing to choose from different colors would be amazing
Sent from my SGH-T839 using xda app-developers app
If you really want it, and I mean really want it ill get you a green flashable, it will for the most part be dependent on one specific rom
So choose one and ill make it happen

Really I just need the wifi and the signal
Not just the bars tho it needs the signals for what its running off 4g high speed a all of that an truly I think it would look good on this rom
The reason I ask for a flashable tho is because the flashable zips work on every rom so not only would I get it for the rom I am using but everyone else would get it as well idk I might try to make something but won't be for awhile as my computer acts up a lot now

Well changing theatre status bar is part of the systemui.apk and my assumption OK s that even though many ROMs for this are the same base it would change other parts of the ROM. So yes the way the ROMs on this phone are all similar in this aspect I could get you a flashable .zip that would flash in any ROM and would change whatever icons in the status bar to green you want but when flashed from a different ROM it may change other aspects of the ui, but it would work.
I'll ask a friend and see if he knows of another way but as far as I know you couldnt simply flash a color to am icon in the status bar without overwriting the systemui.apk

So that it would count down each percent
Example: 99% 98% ect.
