Screen shot and and battery life on sky ics - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

I m on sky ics F6 with sean's kernel. I froze most of the bloat I just left Facebook, Google +, go power master and the draining of battery is very little from this programs. I am getting 15 to 22 he's marvellous. One thing I have never been able to do screen shots, I try everything power+ home, power+ volume down, power+ volume up

Hit power+home at the exact same time and hold them for a couple of seconds.

Screenshot CM7?

Hey, I was wondering if there is any screenshot apps that work on CM7. I tried many from the Market and they all just show black when I try to take a picture of my home screen.

Screenshot should be built into CM7 by default. Just hold down the power button on top and a menu should pop up asking if you want to silent mode, airplane mode, choose profile, screenshot, reboot, or power off.

hold the home button and power button at the same time and you will see a flash, then go to the gallery to see the screen shot

home + power button same time
I had the same problem. In GB you had to press the home + power buttons, but now with ICS you have to hold it for a second or two.
Home + Power on AT&T takes me into an open-apps type screen, along with a link to task manager. It doesn't take a screenshot as far as I can tell.
Home + power button at the same time but you have to hold it down now until it takes a screenshot. Like 3-4 seconds.

Home plus power. Hold home first then hold power until the screenhot is taken

When I hold the home button down, it opens the Task Manager screen. I then press the Power button and hold that for a long time, and nothing happens. When I release the buttons, my Skyrocket reboots. Can't figure out how to take screenshots anymore. I've tried all the different combinations of buttons and timing that I found searching for this, but nothing works. Wish I hadn't "upgraded" to ICS now.
Sorry, I'm on AT&T but I've heard that taking screenshots on the Skyrocket should be the same.
Hahaha. Unreal man, unreal. You guys amaze me

UCLD2
Samsung removed the Power + Vol. Down (note the order) since UCLD2 (ICS TouchWize roms), Power + Home is your only option on the stock touchwiz offereing. You need to muck around with framework jar to enable it. Obviously, my ROMS (EMBRYO) have it enabled since I am used to the Power + Vol. Down

How do I get out of downloading screen

I just rooted with great sucess and wanted to make a nandroid back up. Instead of hitting vol up home and power. I hit vol dwn home and power and now at the downloading..... Do Not turn off target!!! screen. How do I get out of this without doing something wrong? Please help. You guys are all awesome
Just pull the battery. It'll be fine. Some say you can hold the power button for 30 seconds too, but who has that kind of time?

It's volume down button and power.
Works fine for me. Keep trying, it could just be a timing thing for you.

I spent a good hour trying to figure out how to screenshot yesterday. Nothing was happening when I pressed vol down + power. Turns out you have to hold it for half a second ish and it'll screenshot, just don't let go straight away

Phone won't turn on after installing Gsam root companio

Running skyfall and faux kernel. Everything was fine until installed this app. Went to reboot as requested then nothing. Powered off. Will not turn on at all. Can't boot into the boot screen. Power cable doesn't so anything,...uh I'm confused. Please help
Hold down your power button for over thirty seconds and report back. I couldn't turn on my phone once, but after holding down the power button for ages, it eventually booted.
