How do I fix my boot animation? - HTC One S

Okay. So I used the trickdroid tweaks.zip to change my boot animation. I am using the old school android animation. Upon trying to change it back I realized it was stuck. Phone boots up fine but I am unable to change my animation. I tried bootanimation changer.apk,Rom toolbox.apk. these left me with no animation at all. So I restored my Rom backup to go back to square one. I tried the custom animations cwm flasher by torxx. But still no luck. Root browsed to find the animation and delete. But I could not find the right file nor am I totally sure what I'm looking for. I checked system/ customize/ resources to find my custom HTC bootup one.zip. replaced it again. Still. The same animation is haunting me. Help?

Boot Animations

Does anyone have the zip files for any of the "havoc" boot animations. Everytime I try to download one from the "huge collections of boot animations" the "WARNING" logo comes up and it doesn't allow for any downloading.
I am looking for the "blue Havoc" specifically but any of the havocs will work. Thanks in advance.
It's because MegaUpload got shut down. JaeKar MIGHT still have it, but I assume he's working on reupping.

Never mind wrong link.

Corrupted Samsung Logo?

So i booted up my phone today (running tweakstock v1.4) and the samsung logo is missing part of the "A".
Has anyone had this problem before? It just annoys me everytime I boot up the phone....
Lol... Sorry that is a new one... You could extract the image from another rom and just paste it in the right folder to fix it. It sounds more like you have something covering the a more than the a being deformed
Charged up post!
I thought the white Samsung logo before the boot animation was cooked into the phone and can't be modified.

You should be able to do it, as I've seen people modify the motorola logo. However, I think it is below the ROM level.
Try to reflash either just param.lfs or a full stock ROM.

[Q] Phone only booting into recovery, help?

Okay, so, I tried to modify the framework-res.apk through ROM Toolbox to change the download icon. Jeez, Idk, I was bored.
It starts installing and then a bunch of apps fc. It tells me to reboot my phone, and I do. It shows the white SAMSUNG logo, and then where the bootanimation should be, it's just black. the LED is on, emitting minimal light, but it's black. It restarts after a few seconds and then boots into recovery.
Now, I have a NANDroid. I restored it, and then... tada, NOTHING. My phone boots into the same bs again.
I have stock android 4.0.4 tar on my computer that I could flash through ODIN, but I reaaaallly don't want to go through all that crap again.
I did tell ROM toolbox to make a backup of the framework-res.apk and another file (I cant remember the name but it backed up 2 files)
But I can't seem to find them, or else I'd use TWRP's file manager to restore them.
Any ideas? Please respond soon./:

Ahaha damn im stupid.
Anyways thanks:3 That worked, reflashing a new rom via twrp.

(resolved) Boot Animation tester needed.

I fixed it...
i must have had a corrupt image.
I make the boot animations used in Beanstown's "jelly beans" rom. I have been working on a new one but I keep getting a white flash between each loop of the animation. I have had this problem before and couldn't track it down.
If someone could please download and test this animation, that would be great.
download
place this in data/local
or system media (change permissions to match the old one)
Thanks
I gave it a shot, and it works fine but I do get the white flashes that you spoke of.

HELP: Boot animation stuck (x-post HTC One M8\Q&A, Help/Troubleshooting)

I tried to install a custom boot animation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJopFQqgjQw <-- This one, to be exact. (The dark one with no text)
Anyways, I installed it using ROM Toolbox, and rebooted. It got about 3 seconds into the animation, and froze. It stayed like that forever. So, I decided to shut down, and try again. Nothing. I even tried wiping the Cache partition. Still nothing. I have a backup of the original animation.
I have no idea how to delete the current animation, and go back to the old one. It won't even let me access my device. Is there any way to fix this using ADB or fastboot? (Or maybe a flashable animation ZIP) Thanks.
Will the phone connect to the computer ?
It will connect. I can/use ADB to mess with the phones files. That is why I was hoping someone knew where RTB installed animations. I would just delete the file, and it should work, right? The problem is, I don't know where the file is.,

If you've got TWRP (not sure about CWM), mount system and and jump into the file manager to delete or rename vzw_bootup.zip to vzw_bootup.zip.bak or delete. I've also noticed that hard resetting (holding power and volume rockers) and then restarting in bootloader and then hitting reboot, it "catches." not a permanent fix, but it'll get you back in..
I wasn't aware that TWRP has a file manager, otherwise I could've fixed it sooner. Haha, I'll give you an update when I try this.
Where is VZW animation stored? That is my real problem.
