Hello all. Seeing as timescape is running on a lot of high end devices I and some others believe that Devs should start coding extentions. Anyone willing?

since timescape has no reported issues after retail version has been ported (except for silly mistakes during installation) I vouch for this idea.

In the first post download click link to timescape thread. Go to #5 post and download timescape. I think you need root to put permissions and etc in correct places. Copy the app folder to system/app. Install the apostle from there

Is it possibly add function for change Timescape wallpaper? Add GMail function will be great.
to change wallpaper, could we decompile the apk, find the image, swap with new picture and resign it? im no dev but it seems logically correct.

I have tried the above procedure in the main thread and it still dont work for me :/ i've tried the apk method. Can you help me set it up for my At&t captivate (its rooted and no roms yet but i can't seem to have non-market app to work). Anyway, i would appreciate if you could help me port Timescape on my device step-by-step. Much appreciated. And please direct me to the libraries and how to install them.

I am giving you some files to enable PSP Live Wallpapers as everytime i tried installing or even adding to /system/apps/ and setting the right permissions they still wouldn't work. But I have now found a solution to the problem and just in case you are having the same problems as me here you go.
Open .RAR and there will be three folders with where they need to go. Open Folders and copy to sdcard and place where instructed below:
Add these two files to /system/etc/permissions/:com.sony.android.playstationcertified.xml & com.sonyericsson.android.xperiaplaycertified.xml
And then these two at /system/framework/laystationcertified.jar & xperiaplaycertified.jar
Reboot, then install the two .apk and all should be good
Enjoy

installing now...if this works you should make a thread OR add it to the existing .22 launcher thread! now all we need is 3d panorama!
edit: hell yeah! it works! now we need to get everything working such as the "drag app here to share", facebook inside xperia 2.0 and the other stuff i already mentioned...Wolfbreak, i smell an UUPPDDAAAAAAAAATTEE.
I guess psp live wallpapers were ported and posted by me way back in april

Didnt see them ones. I was using ones my mate sent to me and it wasnt installing but then when I added these files it worked

make a xrecovery zip...
On some phones it didn't work for them there was a lib file pspwave.so or somethin like that... it was reported working on wolfs rom
Anyways no prob...I was just lookin through to find somethin interestin to port...

it wont work ot x10i wb rom v6stock.
Check this out! I found a modded xperia s style home apk that can autorotate!!! (it also has a 5x4 app drawer)
Through the XDA news portal I found this Xperia Arc thread which, among other things, contained a home.apk that can autorotate!!
I deleted all other files except the home.apk and flashed it to achotjans semc debrand engine. It works beautifully!
Check for the zip at the bottom!
PS: all credits go to pajoneer for providing the apk! Give him some thanks too!

This has a 5x4 app drawer...
If you have a 5x4 grid in the appdrawer you won't see the last row in landscape mode.
But i think this could also be changed so that you get a 4x5 grid in landscape mode but i'm not totaly sure if this works

Just with bug. In normal mod, cannot add the fifth row in app drawer, in landscape mode, the indicator in app drawer moved into the table.

You mean that in landscape mode the page indicator merges with the content? Yes, this is normal. The page indicator also disappears after a few seconds too.
If you are unable to see the fifth row in the app drawer, go to settings>applications>all applications>xperia home, and clear data. This should fix any app drawer problems...
If not, come back and I'll see if I can do something for you!

Have you tried the zip yet? Because you just described exactly what the app drawer does! lol... It's 4 icons wide by 5 icons long in portrait mode, and when you switch to landscape it switches to 5 icons wide by 4 icons long.

Right... I'd like to shed light on that, but I haven't been able to download a fxp rom since they switched to uploaded.to
I'm in the US, so the whole site is blocked. Even proxies from other countries aren't working. If someone can upload the rom I'd be glad to troubleshoot it, although FXP said not to do it so... yeah.

Great, drawer works as it should once launcher data are erased.
Howewer, it needs Facebook inside Xperia (i guess) - when I try to move some widgets or delete one, it crashes... What a pity

It's a system app has to be puahed isn't /system/app which needs root acces

Hi, i'm no dev. As the title says I was just wondering is there any mod/theme dev that could merge the holo locker with GB security lock. The holo locker disable/bypass any security password or pattern that we set for our device once we activate it. So is there any way it could respon or react as the slide lockscreen before entering our security lockscreen?? Thanks in advance.

Possibly, its not my area of expertise. Maybe some other people who have already modded walkman apps will do it.
But I can have a look and try, thats how you learn. But its not as easy as the keyboard, I imagine there will be lots of different apps and libs to include to make sure all the features work correctly...

Hi all,
Just realised that i dont have DDMS installed on my new works laptop so I cant take some nice screenshots of the swipe in action.
I know i can use the phones screenshot ability to take shots of the keyboard, but if anyone else who has installed this could do a range of SS for me with the settings, different layouts and a pic of the blue swipe I would be grateful. Just post them in a new post and I will link the screenshot bit of the OP to your post and give credits,

Works great on my S3,nice work Greg :good: now voice button too works even better
