i got a Aoson m71g in China for a few days now, the problem with the tablet phone is there is no data when its in sleep mode. App like whatsapp and skype don't get message on 3g in sleep mode. is there a easy fix for this issue? i have try calling there service department, i would say iam a newbe to android, but i do think there tech at aoson knows less then i do. :silly:

I can see why a developer might put this on your device - to save battery. But I also know that it is pretty annoying and wastes more battery than it is trying to save as you have to keep it on to get any messages. I have had experiences with technicians who know less than me about their product so I understand . I am sorry to say that this may be unavoidable. You could try a third party app which allows you to manage connections and things like that. It may be pointless but you could try 'juicedefender.'
Stock ICS as far as I know does not have any options that could help. I was hoping it was running an overlay but sadly not.
Actually I know something that could help. Just remembered. It will be hard though. Try and install a rom on your device it may remove that annoying feature.
Please at least thank me for my efforts using the button.

aoson m71g is prerooted device ,so u can install any apps like chainfire3d for tegra,apple tablet gaming,overclocking for fast performence....etc
1.install livesuite on pc(just google if u want to download) now click on .exe file and allow to start.
now select 3rd icon on menu .now click on general mode and click yes
now it will ask .img file(means firmware).select .img file and click yes. now livesuit ready.just leave the pc.
2.now long press on power button and untill tablet turnoff .
next hold vol + button and connect usb, DONT leave vol+ button and tap power button 5-10 times UNTILL ur pc detect ur device now pc will detect your divice(so now u can leave all buttons) and ask you to install this tablet adb divers.click yes to install after that you will get THIS MSG-"click yes to format and upgrade".....finally it take 5min for file trasfer. .after that restart your tablet .1st start takes more time ..
warning... firmware must be good and .img file.if u downloaded any courrupt .img file then ur screen will turn into black and white screen after upgrading firmware

I came into contact with the device vendor and sent me one. Img original unit. I even did the flash and back to normal.
Right now, its two test. Img and both arrive to unload the machine smoothly.
The first, the JUSTOP, downloaded successfully and is identical to the original, but the baseband is upgraded and more else is equal, including the Kernel.
The second, mele-a20, downloaded successfully and is very different resources, found pretty cool, but did not recognize the wireless card .. then discarded.
In conclusion, I got the Justop, which was perfect and fast!

yes a factory file would be nice . I have tried the Mele one and now its no better . after i figured out how to get it to english .

Recently I bought this Android box from eBay but unfortunately it does not work very well.
Google apps (Google Play, Gmail, etc.) are missing and USB ports work only with mice and keyboards. USB memory sticks cannot be mounted and recognized as well.
However, SD card slot works OK so I got an idea to re-flash firmware.
Can you please suggest me which one?

have a look here I just fixed mine and it comes with XMBC pre installed the HD works well and I have never seen this A20 box work so well
I have been looking as long as everyone else on here and finally found a file that works !!!! :good:

Is there an additional WIFI driver necessary?

First of all: i am new here. And sorry for my bad English.
I have here a Voyo Q901HD with a new digitizer. Everything works fine but there is one problem. The whole touchscreen is inverted... I have tried everything... Change the system.prop, searching for flash again (but there is no firmware to found), reboot, reset.. But nothing helps...

There is no defective with the digitizer: it works perfect and smooth but only in the wrong direction. There should be a possibility to change it correctly in a configuration file? I hope someone can help!

Ok, the problem is now totaly different. I tried to install a custom mod what maybe can fix the problem. I have WDM recovery installed. I have yet CWM recovery installed. The only thing that works... When i try to install a custom mod i receive error 7. But when i recovery my original image where i have make a backup from it does also not work... The backup maked with Smartphone Flashtool and MTK Droid Tool hangs on a sometimes flashing ANDROID logo on the screen... I use the Scatter file inside the image.

Yes you can extract rom from tablet using MTK droid tools,then upload to needrom.com and i can modify parameter for you.
Hi, My tab just got broken and stuck with the stock recovery only. I tried many ways to get it back working. But it seems the stock rom somehow corrupted. Now I know the board number with chip respectively: ma4-818-v12, ATM7029. It is 8inch tab, non 3g, dual camera, wifi, SD card slot which seems to be working and an HDMI. Fortunately I found the exact stock rom for this device but I cannot download it because it's from some Chinese site I guess and it wont let me download for some reason. I don't read Chinese.
