iTunes Music Sync with Star Rating - Android General

There are many iTunes library sync apps in Play Store. But, iSyncR is my favorite. Use & learn "Why?"...
Well, iSyncR supports star rating sync of songs, too.
But, how to use those ratings in Android device?
The same company has launched a nice music player named "Rocket Music Player" which supports that star rating system. You can use that.
Hold on.. There are many music players out there which supports that rating system. A popular one is "PlayerPro Music Player". Go to its Preferences and set star rating system to iSyncR. Done!!!

[CLOSED][APP][4.0+][v2.0] Jams Music Player brings unofficial Google Play Music support!

Play Store link:
Jams Music Player is a beautiful, yet insanely powerful music player. Featuring a stunning Holo Cards theme (regular Holo theme also available), Jams has everything you could ever want or need in a music player!
Support for both phones and tablets.
Supports all the formats supported by Android (mp3, FLAC, AAC, ogg, etc.)
Unofficial GMusic support. All Access isn't available, I'm pretty sure the big record companies won't take it too well if I put it in. If you have your personal music collection uploaded onto Google though, this app can handle it
Limit your music library down to specific folders on your SD card (you can pick as many folders as you want).
Ability to save positions in individual tracks and resume from them later (useful for Audiobooks/Podcasts).
Organize your entire music collection into smaller sub-libraries. (Take a look at the imgur screenshot(s) to get a gist of what I mean).
Individual equalizer settings for each song. Say you set Song A to Pop and Song B to Rock. When you play Song A, Jams will automatically switch the equalizer to Pop. If you play Song B, Jams will switch to Rock. You can also batch apply equalizer settings to multiple songs by artist, album and genre.
The homscreen widget displays your current queue so you can easily browse through it without opening the app.
A-B Repeat mode. You can repeat a specific range of a song from point A to point B.
Displays embedded lyrics. I don't think I'll be adding lyrics from the Internet after what Sony did last summer to another music player.
Sort by album artist! This is for those of you who have large compilation albums.
Full blown file manager with copy, paste, move and delete functions.
Blacklist tracks, artists, and albums. This allows you to exclude individual tracks from your library without actually deleting the files.
Smart playlists (Top 25 Played Tracks, Top Rated, Recently Added, and Recently Played).
ID3 tag editor.
Crossfade.
Gapless playback.
Automatically fetches album art from the internet.
Customize the app with 4 different application themes and 9 different player colors.
Enqueue support with reorder, swipe to remove from queue, the basic stuff.
Scrobbling support.

Music player for android that supports smart playlists

I've been an android devotee since I got my HTC Desire, but the one thing that annoys me about android is that yes, there are tons of music player apps out there that play music, Player Pro being my current favourite... there doesn't seem to be any of them out there that support smart playlists that can make use of standard playlists.
I have a playlist on my ipod that uses a 2 standard playlists as the music source and simply plays the songs that haven't been played in the past 3 days in random order.
Android music players do support smart playlists, but nothing that can replicate the setup on my iPod...
One music player that I haven't heard talked about much but is good will be tomahawk music player, its still in development though check it out when you have the time
You can use "BlackPlayer" from Google play.
Sent from Lenovo a6000 1GB version.
"BlackPlayer" has nice playlist options and the "PiPlayer" has smart playlists... Enjoy

PlayerPro by far is the most complete and advanced when it comes to smart playlists. I have been using it for over two years (have over 50 smart playlists ). Copy paste below the play store description:
"Music metadata, statistics and smart playlists: Recently added, Top rated, Most/Recently/Least played. Build additional smart playlists using the smart playlist editor and the many different criteria it offers: title, album artist, composer, grouping, genre, comment, duration, year, date added/modified, BPM, rating, play count, skip count, last played, and file path."

Question Why won't my S22 Ultra play some songs?

I was previously the owner of a Samsung Galaxy 10, and had a library of over 2500 songs. This phone had no trouble playing any of them. Now my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra keeps popping up a message that it is unable to play that song, and plays the next one instead. I thought that because I was using a free music player app that this might be the cause, so I downloaded the Samsung Music Player. It still will not play some songs.
I'm also a bit annoyed that the Samsung Music player will only allow a playlist of 1000 songs maximum. So I now have three Playlists, and must cycle between them. Sure, I could remove 1500 songs, or go through the whole lot and divide them into genre, but I shouldn't have to.
Can anyone tell me why my phone won't play some music (yet my much older phone coped with it easily).
It's possible that those files got corrupted when you transfered them from your old phone. If that's the case, then you'll have to re-copy those files.
What is the file extension on the songs that won’t play? WMA, Windows Media Audio files are not supported by many player apps. I use the Poweramp app on my phone which plays everything I have in my media library.
+1 for PowerAmp.
+2 Poweramp paid version
