Wasn't sure how to search the issue I seem to be having so figured this would be the most efficient way. Mainly because, i've never really used BetterBatteryStats before. Trying to narrow down my battery drain problem though. I'm starting to think the kernel wakelock may be due to me flashing this modem (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1762308) over the current rom i'm using (aokp milestone 6). Also, would the Phone app using so much of my battery be related to this?
Ideas?
_timer on the wakelock shot isn't really correct. had it charging and just took it off_

Has this happened in more than one occasion? It did the exact same thing to me once before, I couldn't replicate the problem. Also I was on InstigatorsX kernel.

Just installed BetterBatteryStats last night to try to find the problem. I don't know whats going on. Phone doesn't deep sleep like it should either. I may just reflash and start over, though I'd rather not.

Aokp is awesome. I'm running it now. But it is a battery killer

Use instigatorX kernel v4.0b. Mine never slept before I flashed v4.0b. Now it Deep Sleeps like a champ. And most of my activities like; fb,twitter, and web all run on 192mhz. Should help with battery life.

One your battery may not be calibrated correctly. And if your wifi is causing such a drain turn it off when you are not using it.
I am on axura. Not having same issue. It could be apps you have installed

What i do is install One click lag fix utility and just use it's wifi timeout changer, works great
I'm having the same issue. Which RC are you using? I'm using the newest RC 2.2. I posted in the Axura support thread, so I hope to hear back soon
When Android OS bug strikes it kills with no mercy
Since i got SGS2 i kept my Captivate as backup alarm for many cycles discharge in couple of weeks recharge ect. no problem ,no apps running in background , phone in plane mode with Cognition rom i get great standby time. Can hold out for weeks, but then, one night, out of the blue BAM Android OS kills it in two hours flat lol
Lesson: don't rely on your phone for mission critical stuff

Yes this is odd. Hope it gets figured out

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that most likely the battery is either getting weak or isn't calibrated correctly. And just whatever is using that last little bit of energy, which, in your case, will always be the android os, is going to show using the largest percent of the battery.

Dude, you're doing it wrong...
froyo tastes better than gingerbread.
I have gotten this error on Zeus, Caty, Jetpack, and Galaxian. And not just once! It has happened while doing a variety of tasks, and sometimes just shuts down and goes to this screen when idle. Amy ideas?

....and I am not trying to single out any ROM, or claim they are bad. Just very curious as to what this is! I never seen it before. I am currently back to Sensation 1.1, which this has never occurred on.
I don't know anything about it, but use google to find your answer

That could be it. Although, it's never occurred on other ROMs. I've been using the same kernel/modem combo (whatever's the latest modem) for quite a while. It's just a strange occurrence.
Some stated it being some apps. Others say gps. And one said overheating. I hope someone can give us some insight on what it can be.

Does anyone is experimenting terrible battery life with cm10 or it's just me ?
anyone know how to fix this?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
I had a horrible battery life for the first 2 days, talking dead battery in 6-7 hours with average use, couldn't really find a solid reason behind it.. so..
What ended up fixing it was a full wipe (system/cache/delvik) and reflashing CM10 again, after that I went back to what I call normal battery life - aka: charge the phone once a day over night and good for 12-14 hours.

CM10 gave me too many problems to keep it around.
The one I used to use is the one here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1840414
I removed the general bloat that this phone comes with, as well as the carrieriq ages ago. For the past few weeks I've been experiencing great battery life and struggle to drain it since I primarily am a casual user with no more than 2-3 hours of screen on time. However, today, I looked at my phone and saw that the battery had drained a lot quicker than normal - I had to charge it a few hours ago. According to wakelock detector, carrieriq appears to be draining it.
What gives?

Did you use a carrierIQ checker? Voodoo is often recommended. It will let you know if there is any files left on your phone

Just installed it and got this:
I'm not sure those consists of files I could just blithely delete without getting boot errors and what not. Is there anything I should do? My battery life is draining faster than normal and if this keeps up, I'm just going to sell this phone and get an international version.

Unless you specifically removed CarrierIQ when debloating, it's there. To remove it, check here
