[Q] Cm7 mhl connector

Hi am runnig the latest cm7 for skyrocket that is the v4 with d_ga kernel. Want to know if the mhl adapter is workin on the rom because when I plug it nothing happen but in stock it works

I doubt that it will work.......cm7 is not a fully Fu functioning rom yet. Don't expect it to work anytime soon IA what I'm thinking.

It's a kernel bug.
Actually da_g kernel doesn't allow using mhl. It's a matter of time before they correct the problem. at least I hope so.
I'm on tpc rom v3 with da_g 's kernel and I 've the same problem.

Mmm ok thank u for the fast response. Anyway I love the rom so am still using for my daily driver. Also do you happen to know why att visual voice mail don't work am guessing kernel....thanks

VVM works on my SR running TPC V3 w/Da_G kernel maybe try reflashing the rom and make sure to wipe data, cache, and dalvik. I always do that as an SOP for flashing to make sure there are no gremlins from the previous rom.

I tried but I think is because am using cm7 cause even if a check the market is not there I manually download it and tried to install but no luck.

Yep, but you need s-off too
It's more for devs really to update their roms

Are you sure you flashed the correct ROM for your phone?
Make sure your flashing a ROM made for "Crespo" -this is the code name for your device.
I have the same phone on Mobilicity and there's lots of roms that work well. There's no 'best' ROM for everyone, they all have their pluses and minuses.
I'd start off with something tried and true with lots of support behind it like CyanogenMod 9 and see how that works out.

may i know what crespo rom you installed in your nexus that work with mobilicity i tried Crossbones-0.4.1-crespo-IMM76L but still have no signal.

What do you mean when you say you have no signal? Do you mean that you can't connect to Mobilicity network or that your 3g doesn't work?
Right now I'm running AOKP nightly build 40. I've also run CM9 nightlys, CyberGRmod, Black Ice Kangorade and others I've probably forgotten.
The carrier makes no difference in what roms you can run, just make sure it's for a crespo device.

Just be careful and read up first when dealing with radios. It may not be the problem but flashing the wrong one could cause issues. :thumbup:

Help recovering soft brick/odin not working/not a noob

Like many times before i used the one click odin root to root my phone. This time as soon as it started, it failed. Now my phone boots straight to this screen:
Odin Mode
Product name: SGHI727
Custom Binary Download : No
Current Binary: Samsung official
cell phone pic----------------------exclamtion triangle pic---------------------computer pic
Firmware upgrade encountered
as issue. Please select
recovery mode in kies and try again.
I used odin to try and flash again, i used one click flash, and I reinstalled all my drivers, checked my usb connection and even tried a different computer. I cannot restore my phone. I was on stock ginger bread but not sure which one.
I go into download mode manually, i slect up, and i get back to the same screen as on top w no result.
Help plz. $20.00 donation to who can help me crack this...i really need it fixed, thx.

I also tried to use klies. it didnt work. computer does read the phone as the yellow shows on odin. But everytime i try to flash something it starts, then fails.

You do have an i777 at&t phone right?

i ordered P500 but when i got it i saw this
the back label says P500
but the info is SU370, with strange baseband
can i flash the normal P500 GB baseband on it and flash icySnap on it?

AFAIK the one you got is the Korean version of P500
P500 ROMs don't work on it

Yes. This phone is the korean version of the P500 and runs a different firmware. I'm afraid the P500 roms will not work on this.

not as helpful as i need, in the "SAGA" he talks about his KU3700
i have a P500 (sticker) with SU370 FW
is it the same problem? not sure

Just try to boot into fast boot mode to confirm if its a P500
Bcoz Key combinations don't work in the Korean versions AFAIK

well... i'm %%#[email protected]$ the phone is SU370 as far as i can tell...
trying to sort this out with the seller...
the funny part, it works fine, the rom isn't RTL (hebrew) but thats fine
my only problem is that i can't send SMS in hebrew... no unicode switch
