Hi am runnig the latest cm7 for skyrocket that is the v4 with d_ga kernel. Want to know if the mhl adapter is workin on the rom because when I plug it nothing happen but in stock it works

I doubt that it will work.......cm7 is not a fully Fu functioning rom yet. Don't expect it to work anytime soon IA what I'm thinking.

It's a kernel bug.
Actually da_g kernel doesn't allow using mhl. It's a matter of time before they correct the problem. at least I hope so.
I'm on tpc rom v3 with da_g 's kernel and I 've the same problem.

VVM works on my SR running TPC V3 w/Da_G kernel maybe try reflashing the rom and make sure to wipe data, cache, and dalvik. I always do that as an SOP for flashing to make sure there are no gremlins from the previous rom.

I tried but I think is because am using cm7 cause even if a check the market is not there I manually download it and tried to install but no luck.

Ok so i was just going aroubd trying thing n my software update crashes soon as i check for an update and for about 1 minute after it crashes i have no mobile reception

Hi bmt25, one of the smoothest MIUI roms is Brainmasters, you can grab it from here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1181050
He has not posted the 1.12.9 but the smart thing about his rom is that once you've installed it you can get the MIUI OTA updates thrue the built in Updater app without loosing Brainmasters tweaks.

Interesting, I have never seen that but thats not really saying much. when you tried to flash in odin was your battery placed back into phone after going into download mode? can you give any more details as to what you have tried? That way ppl could give you better ideas as to fix.
Just make sure you're battery is in and you'll be fine. If it isn't working then let us know where the flash is getting stuck at.

I saw this when I first flashed CWM after taking the GB OTA.
What worked for me was to use another USB port on my PC. After the drivers installed, I was able to successfully flash CWM with Odin.

Are you sure you flashed the correct ROM for your phone?
Make sure your flashing a ROM made for "Crespo" -this is the code name for your device.
I have the same phone on Mobilicity and there's lots of roms that work well. There's no 'best' ROM for everyone, they all have their pluses and minuses.
I'd start off with something tried and true with lots of support behind it like CyanogenMod 9 and see how that works out.

What do you mean when you say you have no signal? Do you mean that you can't connect to Mobilicity network or that your 3g doesn't work?
Right now I'm running AOKP nightly build 40. I've also run CM9 nightlys, CyberGRmod, Black Ice Kangorade and others I've probably forgotten.
The carrier makes no difference in what roms you can run, just make sure it's for a crespo device.

Just be careful and read up first when dealing with radios. It may not be the problem but flashing the wrong one could cause issues. :thumbup:

I love both HellFire and ParanoidAndroid ...BUT... have always had a fondness for MIUI.
I have not run a MIUI rom in a long time, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me or
point me to the latest *English* MIUI that runs on our phone ?? I have seen a couple

You need to go to the galnet site there are a bunch of miui ports on here. Same problems as the other ICS Roms for the g2x though no hw accelerated

Miui just uses CM7 as base, so you could grab an updated MIUI ROM for another phone, and the latest CM7 ROM for the G2x and port it.
