[Q] HTC 3.33.401.6 firmware and Calendar - HTC Sensation

Did anyone notice any changes and errors respectively with the new HTC 3.33.401.6 firmware and the android calendar? I'm using ICSSync for syncing ICS files and andoird calendars via WebDAV and since I upgraded to the new firmware + ARHD 6.7.0 the App fails syncing the calendars.

As silly as I sound? Did you superwipe? Might be version incompatibility..
So even restoring the data from say TB might cause some trouble.

Yes I did. No changes in behavior.
My girlfriend's Sensation is not rooted (not any custom ROMs or Recovery) and came back from repair (new mainboard) and got updated to 3.33.401.6. Same problems with ICSSync. I tried another iCal app which crashed immediately after start. So I guess there is really something wrong with that HTC update.

Did you check to see if ical is compatible with ics or see if there's a updated version of ical

Hang on a second, if the update upgrades your HBOOT to 098.002, why apply it as that version can't be S-OFF'd with AlphaRevx???
That might be the point LOL but nothing changed here

There is probably new app (in slovakian) Režim doku, in english, "Dock mode" and from htc hub two plugins: LinkedIn and viewing Picasa albums from Gallery.
Kernel made date is June 8, 2011, before march 11.
Hm... No dock mode on mine also kernel is from march 12, update was two part about 700 kb in total. :/

Stupid question? but, I'm guessing that you tried a reboot. Trying adding yourself back onto your mobile network, it could be a provider issue?
If you phone is not network unlocked you could try someone else SIM from another network, just to rule your provider out!?

Got the OTA as well today, but I don't really notice any difference.
It just patches some applications/lib/framework files.
No new hboot or radio though.
Then I won't hurry up and wait
Its for sense 3.0 with android 2.3.5 update or some update before it?

It's an update for Android 2.3.5 with Sense 3.0
Updated, not noticed any significant improvements. Will check later.
Exchange inbox refresh
Hey guys, just wanted to let you know...
got the update too yesterday, and it brought a big improvement for me!
Now Exchange Inbox refresh works again...
before the patch it wouldn't sync read/unread and flag states of e-mails between inboxes on my phone and PC. It also kept piling up items in the phone inbox although i've moved them away on exchange.
Other than that I didn't notice any differences. Also the power button bug remains, though that is circumventable by activating the credential store.
cheers
After several hours, I can confirm that I received 3GB Dropbox bonus space, courtesy of HTC. Nice move indeed!
Just instaled update. Kinda no changes only live wallpers don lag no more with sense 3.0. Email works fine dunno about other things. Ty for let me notice update becouse i dont check them.

Does anyone know how does this compares to 2.13.206.1?
Is the 2.10.401.8 older, newer, or just form a different carrier or country?

2.10.401.8 is the version of the European unbranded devices.
I suppose that 2.13.206.1 is the same for other region or brand. O2 comes in mind
Example:
Europe: 1.28.401.1 -> 1.47.401.4 -> 2.10.401.5 -> 2.10.401.8
O2 branded: 1.31.206.1 -> 2.13.206.1

ARHD dont get gmail/email notifications

Newly rooted, running Android Revolution HD 6.6.7 XE with Beats Audio - everything is smooth except that Im not getting my email notifications/new emails. Background data is on and mobile networks. Before I installed the ROM I super wiped and flashed 11.69.3504.00U_11.22.3504.07_M radio.
Any thoughts?

Check if you have automatic or manual sync enabled.
Auto sync is enabled! I do get SMS/text messages without a problem.
Just cheked the radio and it's 11.23.3504.07_M2 so its not the one recommended flashing before ARHD installation. Could that be the problem?
I get gmail when i manualy force sync or restart the phone, but I need it to be on always and upto date . Already reflashed the ROM and same problem.
PS its a US tmobile HTC sensation

Hi,
Have you considered flashing the 1.2 TMOB version of the ARHD ROM?
Check the changelog on the opening post :
- HTC Sensation 4G (U.S. T-Mobile PG5810000 | T-MOB010) users can flash this for better signal and data speeds!
I'll, give it a try. Would like to keep Beats Audio though.

Hi,
There is always THIS
Installed the T-Mobile ARHD ROM and same thing. Only way to get email is when I manually refresh/sync. SMS received without a hitch. Maybe a super wipe is in order without restoring settings or accounts, nor Titanium backup.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using xda app-developers app
I have the same problem. Emails wont sync automatically using ARHD 1.2.0 T-mobile version
Did a wipe, reinstalled Rom with beats audio, then did Titanium Backup restore, but only apps, not system settings. Seems to have worked. Get email notifications without having to sync manualy. I got a new sim card just in case, that didn't work.

[Q] Reroot questions and JB

I just got a replacement HTC One from Tmo and have been debating on whether to root or not. I haven't upgraded to the jb yet and my biggest issue with my last One S was the loss of Wifi. I tried to downgrade the hboot but that only ever caused problems. Does anyone know if the JB update from tmo and rooting doesn't cause the wifi issues. Or if anyone can help me with these issues id greatly appreciate it
Don't think the jb ota has been released in the states..at least not in Texas
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda app-developers app
I don't know if the JB update from Tmo is different from the WWE which I have installed, but the first thing I did when it came out was to revert my One S to stock ICS and stock recovery and fetch the JB update. Afterwards I rooted it. I've never had any problems with wifi, but my One S is unbrandeded and I really don't know what Tmo implement in their roms.
Well from what I've for to understand when you updated with tmo ota for ics is changed the hboot. And I couldn't downgradeit back

Map/GPS CM10.0 constant signal drops

Recently Google updated the Maps application and ever since they updated the map application I seem to have problems with keeping my signal now and it only happens when I'm using Google Maps. Has anyone else ever seen this issue and possibly fixed it?
Edit: I forgot to mention that occasionally the phone will reboot because of this issue.

I used it today on 10.1 3.4 kernel no issues..
Sent from my One X using xda app-developers app
I have a different kernel. I thought when you install a ROM it installed the kernel for that ROM is that not the case?
Edit: could the kernel be the cause of all this?
Sent from my AT&T HTC One X Evita S-Off running CyanogenMod 10
Yes it does. I'm just saying that it's working for me. Try wiping app data?
Could be anything. Try wiping the app data if stoll not working try factory reset in recovery, if still not working try clean flash. With latest twrp
Sent from my One X using xda app-developers app
So far I have what I have done is to clear the cache uninstall the program entirely then reinstalled it the only other option is to reinstall the entire ROM is far as I can tell. Which brings me to my next question how do I go back to AT&T stock? The reason I ask is ever since I've switched roms everything just is screwing up and with the stock AT&T rom things actually worked.
Edit: Google speech to text typos.
Sent from my AT&T HTC One X Evita S-Off running CyanogenMod 10
Most likely you're using twrp between 2.4 and 2.5 only 2.3.3.1 and under and 2.6 wiper properly and you probably never fastboot erase cache after installing a new recovery.
In any case to go stock, s-off then Ruu.
Sent from my One X using xda app-developers app
I believe you're right my TWRP is 2.5.0.0. About the cache after installing the ROM I am a little unfamiliar with. I already have the bootloader unlocked and I have s-off so I guess it's just a matter of using the AT&T ruu? Will that conflict with the custom kernel and TWRP?
Edit: typos. also I was having a little bit of difficulty understanding what your saying in your previous post about the versions. which version should I have installed?
Sent from my AT&T HTC One X Evita S-Off running CyanogenMod 10
2.6 is now stable but previously all versions above 2.3.3.1 would not wipe properly causing issues.
Whenever you flash recovery it is advisable to do fastboot erase cache after. Not always necessary but it takes a few seconds and can save you loads of issues.
Yes an Ruu will work so long as you are s-off. If you're not s-off you'll brick.
Sent from my One X using xda app-developers app
Thanks I appreciate the assistance perhaps reinstalling CyanogenMod 10 will fix the issue.
Sent from my AT&T HTC One X Evita S-Off running CyanogenMod 10
This past weekend I upgraded the recovery and I reinstalled CyanogenMod 10 and tested the GPS this morning and it doesn't seem to have been fixed. Could there just be some sort of incompatibility with the newer version of maps because it was working on an older version of maps?
Edit: Google speech to text typos.
Edit 2: Also the RUU doesn't seem to work either.
Edit 3: After changing ROMs to Viper XL the GPS started working fine. So I believe that CyanogenMod 10 has some sort of compatibility issue with the latest version of Google Maps.
