Since I'm new to the Evo, coming from a waste of time Fruit phone (pun intended) I want to help out in the XDA community.. I'm still learning and would love to partner up with some of you boot animators splash etc....
I will update as much as I can... So come back for new swag.. This is the "pimp my droid" thread...
This is by far the best forum I've joined..
So with that said I'm going to start adding my flare of splash screens for your viewing pleasure.. I'm a huge Super Hero fan along with other ideas for splash screen.
I'm open for ideas, but want to add more splash screens to the community.. We all have our own ideas but I'd like to add my own swag to the bunch.. .

DISCLAIMER: YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON THAT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PHONE!! IF YOU MESS UP THEN......YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL FOR READING LESSONS!!
HOW TO:
1. Download “Filename”.zip and choose save location
2. Choose the PC36IMG.zip file and move/copy it to the root of your sdcard
3. Load your phone into Bootloader
4. Once you in the Bootloader it will automatically search for the PC36IMG.zip (NOTE: make sure your in the Bootloader and not in fastboot! If in fastboot, select [using volume UP/DOWN] Bootloader then press your Power button)
5. It will tell you it has located the file and ask if you would like to UPDATE (it will say “press vol up for yes, vol down for no”) press VOLUMEup and update the splash.
6. It will go through a quick update sequence then ask “would you like to reboot the device? Press VOLUMEup for yes or VOLUMEdown for no” Press VOLUMEup and reboot your phone.
7. ENJOY!
****When you download the file just remove the "name in the file" and leave the PC36IMG****

This theme was originally done for a themed ROM for the Eris by tazzpatriot a long time ago. I decided a while back to put it into Theme Chooser for MDPI devices and now that I've moved to the Incredible I'm working on bringing it to HDPI devices as well. For the most part everything is just about done. There are still a few details that need to be polished to get the Theme Chooser version to where I want it. With that being said, I'm going to put up the link for anyone that wants to check it out. This theme does do ADW, LauncherPro and Go Launcher. Dialer, keyboard and some app icons. There's still a little bit of things that need resizing... Like I said... it's a work in progress.

Blackened For CM7 Theme Chooser
Download the apk and install like an app. Open Theme Chooser and select the theme then reboot.
Use this file with ZipThemer (free in the market), to change your lockscreen sliders to Red, Black and White Iron Crosses. Download the zip file to your SD Card. Open Zip Themer hit +Theme, select the zip file then hit Build It. Zip themer will create 2 flashable zip files, an update zip and an undo zip in case you want to put the sliders back to stock. Reboot into recovery and flash the update zip. That's it

It should. One thing though... The 4g icon will not be themed, 3g, 2g and 1x will though. I haven't added any 4g icons to the theme.

Really liked this theme but when I used it my market quit working. It wouldn't open. No force closes just nothing when I hit it. Any ideas?

INSTRUCTIONS:
1: Download from link
2: Put file on sd
3: reboot into recovery
4: Install from sdcard
5:Reboot and your done
Instructions for back to stock rom theme.
1: using root explorer backup or copy the systemUi.apk found in system/app/systemUi and framework-res found in System/framework/framework-res copy these either to your computer or to your sd card i usually rename them to like systemUi1 and framework-res1 that way i just delete the 1 and copy over the last/replace the files.
2: when you want to revert just move the original files to the specifyed destination "original spot they came from" and reboot and your good to go

Dude this looks awesome! I recommend you theme the drop down menu to red its my perfer anyways I use to have the Samsung epic and there drop down menus are sweet you might want to take a look at it so you can get a different perspective, but fill free as you like I'm looking forward to flashing this theme soon ! And a tip, I am using Miami theme keyboard that might add nice to your theme! On the android market, keep up the good work!

Being a drag racing fan how about a drag racing theme. nitromethane burns blue out the pipes and nos will actually turn blue out the headers. cant get faster than 300mph in 1000 feet lol just a suggestion ... carp

Whenever I open something from halo, whatever I open gets put on top of the home screen, rather than the app I was using. Is this a bug with kexec pac man, or is anyone else having this problem?

It happened with facebook and chrome for me, but the second time i opened both apps they opened in the proper multiwindow..

I flashed 2 of them and somehow it didnt work, the halo is just the same.. Didnt brick but it didnt work either..

You guys could simply extract the halo_bg.png file from the zip and then drag and drop it to SystemUI.apk/res/drawable-hdpi.If you want you may resize this png file to suit your style.
Then place the SystemUI.apk in system/app with proper permission and reboot.
I've been using it this way..

Ok I've made a sample flashable zip to change the theme of HALO
All you've to do is replace the png files from the theme zip in SystemUI.apk with the desired ones and then place the modified SystemUI.apk in the sample.zip and flash it.No wipes needed.
It also might be a good idea to place the original SystemUI.apk in the zip and store it by the name Revert HALO so that if you ever wanna go back just flash the zip.
I've zipped up the png files according to the name.Just open the SystemUI.apk using 7-zip goto res/drawable-hdpi or res/drawabale-nodpi(as the case maybe,see where the png files are originally) and drag and drop you choice of png files in there.Then place the SystemUI.apk in sample.zip and flash it.

And yeah halo is pretty cool as of now but I think it has still a long way to go to reach its true potential.
Say for instance the halo ring sits there as is it can be used to show the battery status in form of ring.This would come in handy to gamers and streamers as they'll have easy battery info without having to even move a finger while doing what they are doing.
Even this theme customization which is manual ATM should be integrated.There should be an option to set the amount of memory allotted to the background app and the front end app.Ahh there are just so many ideas.Hope someone takes a hint(@PA team).

Well, the top mass acceleration 1, but mostly the multiple show mores!
I totally agree. hopefully as other roms adopt it, more development will get done. I really like the idea of a central feature that everyone can base off the same source. Like, PA made this, but if all the CM, AOKP, and other people work with it, but don't totally keep it to themselves, it can be kind of something all the roms have.
