It's good idea bro,but I don't think MIUI can be really ported until CM7 for Galaxy R is finally available. As far as I know, the officially supported MIUI ROMs are based on CM.

Well, at first it did boot to lockscreen. But in a matter of seonds, the OS crashed and then stuck at the bootscreen. Sent him the logcat. He said its just a small issue and he'll fix it ASAP.
Well atleats it booted to lockscreen. soon we will be having official CM and un-official MIUI
And we should not much worry about MIUI. Franz have done great work by starting this project and if he have problems we have many devs who have good knowledge of AOSP stuff like epsy, adam, emo. MIUI will be surely ported to sgr.

Don't forget that who is epsylon3.
He is offcial maintainer of defy and atrix. If u open cm website u will find his name there as device maintainer.
If he get success in making a perfectly working cm7 than yes there are high chances that our device will be added there as a officially cm supported device (like galaxy s ii).

unofficial works better than official?? are you kidding sir??:cyclops: because i think our unofficial cm is porting from another phone. so i think that we don't have a special. like the other galaxy which has the official.. as far as i know, official is better than unofficial. i really didn't know how the official cm works on the other galaxy phone. have you already tested it sir? and, how could i request the official cm7 for our fit?

What are the benefits if we got official cm ? Nothing I guess as long as we have stable cm modded roms

They are not ported.....some of them are build from source.....and they are perfect..........

in my opinion
Or even cm by vish or cm by wilfred
All of these are built from source...
If a cm is an unmodified source build, then its as good as official cm...

Since my phone operator is wind , there might be problems with Cm 7.2?Moreover the radio bug is still present in cm 7.2?
guys use ME v1 rom which is releasing on 21st aug .. its the best rom based on official cm7.2 ... enjoy ..

AFAIK there is no pure rooted stock rom.
try hyperdroidv1 which is a stock rom lookalike and is rooted.
On my GalaxyFit i downloaded Stock ROM from samfirmware
and then i rooted my stock ROM
after Rooting you ill find app called superuser
this app ill auto update is self when you connecting to internet from your device and you ill be able to unroot and root and unroot .... easly

Bro,cynogenmod 7.2 is stable whatever be the rc(royal candidate)..the latest rc will be more stable than the older or previous once..

for me, RC1 is best cm7 yet, maybe for you it will be the worst
it depends on what YOU need, stop asking and keep flashing every damn rom you see.
and keep a backup of you favourite one!

Yes its release candidate it was my typing error i knew n i hav tried almost evry rom in dis forum and i got solution for dis and i hav expirienced dat the new rc's are much better than the older 1s i hav tried it..

To be frank from day one i am using custom ROM's only so i am not sure of Stock ROM's, why cant you try CM 10 or PA or PAC ROM's which are based on Android 4.1.2 ..

Both are very good ROM's based on Stock ICS and both have there own advantages, one thing i can tell is both ROM's are stable with out bug's so if possible try them out and see which suites you better ....
I have 1 more question. I just flashed zslpd firmware in my phone now. is the default kernel in that free of emmc cap erase which was present in other kernels. Because i want to use a stock kernel so want to know if the stock kernel is free of that bug

Noo.. it has that bug. try to flash Ardatdat's V4 kernel. its stock kernel with no ERASE eMMC bug.:good:
I used agreek new exterme ROM
It's totally best than others
You will feel your Samsung ui and all custom room features.

Chinese version has been released. Check out the firmwares thread in Dev section...though I'm not sure whether it supports call recording like in GB.

Depends on your usage. 1. Wi-fi reception is quite weak ; 2. leggy in apps opening , still acceptable ( I am on JellyBam4 with Siri Kernal rc2 )
If you need some apps which requires 4.0+ , you shall consider flashing custom rom eg CM9 / CM10 or their variants.
Last , but important , is that if you go back from A4 any other c-rom / stock rom , just flash from Kpe with pit , no need select bootloader . ( exact instruction / warning is given in Dhiru A4 rom post ) , cheers

Same here and recently updated with kernel siri rc1, and the device is amazing. Now just waiting for kernel 3

Sorry but the rom its not based on percy g2 rc cm7 because the rom does not booting with percy kernel maybe if you use base the percy rom your rom its working with cyanogenmod#2 kernel sorry for my english
