Thx. Another guy on Modaco managed to build it, but targetbsp found that there were errors when restoring backups made with CWM 6.x (no problems with older backups made with CWM 5.x). Does your build have the same bug?
EDIT: Any chance of a touch version? My vol rocker aren't in the best condition ever

What is the difference with 6.0.0

I've just made a backup/restore without problems.
the part of touch recovery isn't open source at this time and builder.clockworkmod.com fails to build the touch version.

first post updated.

Thanks a lot, backup speed is very fast!
Ps: have you the splash screen showed 2 times when you boot in recovery?

Two things :
1) is it backwards compatible with gingerbread and froyo?
2) targetbsp has posted a flashable zip on MoDaCo. Care to mirror it?

flashable zip possible?

same thing here
i thought i did something wrong

the flashable zip file went wrong when i flashed it, it says "error........installation aborted" something like that so i reboot to system to do normal things with my phone but when i tried to boot to recovery mode the screen stucked at the green android icon that i have to pull out the battery to get out and put it on again to start my phone. it was so annoying thinking that i will have to look for a pc to fix it but i just think that it would be possible to install the zteBlade_CWM_6.0.1.0.img without a pc.
so all did was to install a recovery manager. and now , I just installed the zteBlade_CWM_6.0.1.0.img through a recovery manager
does anybody had a clue why did the flashable zip file failed in me?
anyway thanks!

Hi,
Very good work man, thank you !
Just one question : is there a hope to see a TeamWin Recovery on our Blade?

6.0.1.1 is out! I've attached the file.
The usual stuff, blah blah blah, credits to koush, use at your own risk, blah blah blah
md5:FA835EAD8FF4D6D984CC67039E8874BC

Just made a zip of the recovery that can be flashed in your old recovery. Tested it and seems to work ok

done installing CWM v6.0.1.1

After installing the rom and patch, i tried to restor my backup and i kept getting an md5 missmatch. Have any idea what could be causing it?

Could it have something to do with the patch? The phone works but I can't restore any previous backups because of md5 missmatch.
Works nicely on my wife's phone. Very fast and smooth. Thank you for your work on this! Looking forward to your ICS rom.. but she's not as tech savy, so I'll wait until that's a bit more stable.
My Mercury got stuck at the Huawei logo. When I pressed Vol + and vol - while pushing the power button would get me to a pink screen.
I choose install zip from SD card and chose your zip then got an error. Kinda spooked about doing it again. I took it to a local dealer and he fixed it (have no idea what he did) I'm assuming that he pressed Vol + and hit the power button silly me I never figured that out I read it but it never sunk in.
Now my problem is No matter what I try I cant get into custom recovery with the phone buttons it just starts normally. Is it ok to start custom recovery from Clockwork mod application? I can get there just fine. Little freaked that I might soft brick it again. Any idea what they did to unbrick it? I did have ADB setup last year when I rooted it. If so I need to reinstall Linux
stats:
build number M866V100R001C156B861SP05
kernel version 2.6.35-7perf
Android version 2.3.5
Baseband version 404020
Thanks..

http://www.huaweidevice.com/cn/downl...id=NDE4MjU =
ics 4.0.3
http://www.shenduos.com/
based on cm7.. plus in the forum some roms and stock roms..

Yes...i will try that tonight after work and post here.:good:
That doesn't work either....It starts to boot and freezes. The tablet is VERY hot. I cannot recommend this ROM to anybody. I have wasted more time trying to make this work than it's worth. I appreciate your effort and time, but this rom is completely unusable on our tablet (P5113 model).

FYI, I have installed this on our two here at home, been running flawlessly since the 7th. We also have the P5113.
It is no problem, I won't add any more time, effort into the tablet section. I'll stay compiling my I9000, I9100, I9300 ROMs.

sorry check r.cyanogenmod.org
Just checked two things:
- 'fix permissions' works
- the backup archives can still be opened by renaming .tar.a to .tar and easily be edited
This already makes some things easier. Let's see what else is in there...
edit:
- couldn't mount sdcard. Anybody else can confirm that (maybe a win driver problem)?
What about all the bugs the old one had like not being not able to turn the phone off, mount sd as mass storage and can it flash boot.img?

Black wing Is a hell of a dev and I'm sure he will fix the broken stuff.
But as Darky said there's features in twrp like flagging boot that cwm can't do. Maybe more time will tell.
Either way, there's a new dev here for y'all.

1 or 3 things are fixed, Clockworkmod Poweroff no longer exist blame koush for that , SD mas storage dont work for the moment, but now you can flash boot.img in recovery w/o any kind of problems.
please repor any problems so i can track them down and fix them.

P.D.
THIS IS AN ALTERNATIVE RECOVERY SO IF YOU DONT LIKE IT OR WHATEVER, PLEASE DONT FLAME THE THREAD OF UNNECESARY COMENTS
YES!
I love CWM and it sucked that it had some bugs but I always new it's limitations and never tried TWRP. Not hating on it just felt since I paid for CWM back in the myTouch 3G/4G days I wouldn't abandon it unless it was completely useless[which its not].
So are you working directly with Koush or are you just fixing what you can to make it function better?
Also, when I downloaded from your link it wasn't a zip, just the disc image.. OP says extract but I'm guessing that's not the case.
either way, gracias!

[Dual Recovery] CWM + TWRP for Jelly Bean ROMs [01-08]

Many times I was stuck in the bootscreen when TWRP crash, so I make a flashable zip with dual recovery system:
TWRP + CWM, based in MoKee 4.2 recovery sources.
So, now you can use CWM to update/install mods without softbrick risk.

*If you are in TWRP and want to switch to CWM, flash this in TWRP - https://docs.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0BxS5PetHg8JpMGFCTkM0ZnB1dmc
Just flash the zip and reboot. I switched to CWM myself.
*camera doesn't work, just like everyone else*
*Fix keyboard: Go to Nova
*Yes, GPS works.
- ALSO, thanks Mazda because you always help me, you're a beast at this sh!t
Thanks @prsterero for helping.

I didn't get to test root. I know chainfire has root for Nexus 5. So maybe will work with mine? I will test when I get home. Be home in about an hour or so..

Root may not work right away (it didn't for me from another release thread), but it can be re-rooted with just a flash in a custom recovery

Hi,
thanks for this.
Just a quick feedback :
1) Wipe (system/data/dalvick/cache)
2) Flash ROM
3) Flash Gapps
4) Boot & setup
5) Flash SuperSU 1.65
6) Install File Manager + Usb StickMount (chainfire) : root confirmed
6b) Mxplayer Pro : 4.4 not supported
7) Played HD movie with Google Video from usb key
So far everything worked.
Thanks again.
