[Q] [Verizon] Broken Google Navigation - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Im using a verizon sgs3. Today i tried using the google navigation using search by voice, once i clicked on search by voice, the phone froze, the screen turned block (while the notification bar is still on) and a few seconds later i get a popup saying, "Unfortunately, Map has stopped."
Does anyone else have these issues?

No issue here, blue VZW Galaxy S III 16 gb.
I would suggest restarting the phone.
If that doesnt work, reinstall Navigation.
Are you rooted?
Also, you haven't disabled S Voice from the App manager have you? That could cause the problem as well. I disabled it, and it caused problems with the phone app when accidentally hitting the voice dial button.

Google Voice Background

I got my G2x about 2 weeks ago and I'm having a problem with Google Voice. The app isn't refreshing in the background. What I mean is that for it update, I have to actually open up the app and then it will refresh. Background is enabled, I double checked. I'm currently using the leaked Gingerbread ROM from Modaco but I don't think that's the issue since I'm was having the exactly same problem with the stock 2.2 which came with the phone. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?
I'm also having problems downloading Apps. Sometimes when I try to download an App, it would go from "Starting Download...." to "Downloading...." then just suddenly quit with no error messages at all.
Hate bumping my own thread, but does anyone know what's going on? Getting really annoying to constant have to manually check for texts.
Do you have Synchronize Inbox and Inbox Notifications enabled under the Google Voice App settings?
Yup along with Vibrate
Did you somehow accidentally enable the Do Not Disturb feature in the app or maybe online in your settings?
"Do Not Disturb" is unchecked on both the phone app and the voice website.

[Q] Spontanous Issue with Google Voice Not opening

Doesn't seem like there is a specific forum for google voice (there probably should be)
Recently I have the most annoying of issues. Seems google voice will not open. I did the usual trouble shooting. Uninstalling google voice, deleting the data, re installing from market several times. Still has the issue where I click on the icon, it flashes up, then the app disappears. Its kind of like giving me a taste. Trouble is I am on prepaid and completely using google voice so this is essential for me.. It literally takes me about 20 times of clicking the icon for it the app to pop up and stay up.
Any thoughts on this? I have no other issues with any other apps. Well once yesterday messaging did this, but it only flashed once..
I installed an app called watchdog lite earlier this week. Thinking perhaps it was that app I added google voice to the "white list" but it wont stay up. Most annoying. I have no other task killer (ATK, etc) or anything. And actually watchdog just monitors CPU usage, will not kill apps.
Thanks!
For future reference this issue seems like a permissions fix is the solution.

Bugreport + Google Now

I have two problems:
a) i get bug-reports out of nowhere from time to time. No problem with any apps, everything works fine, but then i get a bugreport-notification that i can send via email or something else. I think i found out how to disable this, i turned on and off the debugging feature. But i never used this before, so why did this happen?
b) sometimes on my homescreen i can't do anything because the google now bar is activated. I have to touch the bar on the bottom and sometimes even have to open google now to use my homescreen again. I already disabled the google now shortcut with an app from the store, but this does not helf, the spotted ring is still coming up. Any help? Maybe a problem with my screen or with my display-foil?

Inescapable Google Bug

I've been battling this since Android 5.0
Ok Google worked well for the first year it was out. At some point Google updated the app and all hell broke loose. Right now I have a Google Pixel with stock 8.0. I wiped my custom ROM because the issue came back and I really want to solve this. I have set up very little at this time. A few apps and signed into Google. Fresh setup for less than a week now.
What used to happen or the problem? Saying ok Google there would be an audible tone. Then when it stopped making that tone, I searched all over the place for a solution. Switch access. That worked but when that app was updated it broke again. With switch access on, volume buttons do not work. Every time I start up the phone or come back to it after a few hours, the setup wizard opens. And occasionally it will just pop up TalkBack has crashed. Another side effect of Switch Access is the YouTube video ui won't fade away. You have to tap the "X" ; and sometimes there is no "X" there at all.
It's a cycle. No audio que? Turn on switch access. With Switch access on, volume buttons do not work. TalkBack crashes occasionally. Setup wizard opens.
I'm so unspeakably frustrated this has been an issue for so long. What the hell do I do!? I have ran into this issue since Google updated their app years ago, not longer after I got an HTC One M7. Since then I have had this issue on that phone, a Samsung Note 5, Moto G, Nexus and Pixel.

Location problem

Over the last views days I've started to notice that when I unlock my pixel 2 the location icon appears in the notification tray when I start a app like XDA or Facebook the icon disappears and when I press the home button to go back to my home screen it comes back straight away. Has anyone else noticed this problem?
I've noticed the same since yesterday. Location icon shows up every minute or so. I ended up disabling advanced location.
I've disabled location completely. I'm guessing it's a Google app that is causing it but not sure which, the only ones I've updated recently are YouTube, health services, play music, Google and keep.
Edit
Looks like a issue with the Google app. I uninstalled it and the went back to normal, when I updated it the problem came back.
I had the same issue, turns out it was the Google beta app for me. I uninstalled it and reinstalled the stable version
