[Q] Root & Bootloader unlock

Ok, I am new to this forum so please excuse me if I posted this incorrectly or if there might be another thread similar! (I tired searching but could not find anything so please don't scorn me )
So this is my problem...
I have the Moto G 2013 Verizon Non-Dev (XT1028) that I am sick and tired of seeing "lollipop will be coming soon!" But it being a non-dev edition it does not qualify for Motorola's Official Bootloader Unlock. I searched everywhere on YouTube (yeah, yeah, not the reliable...) and Google on how to root and bootloader unlock but none of those things have helped me. Let me cut to the chase!
Basically I am on 4.4.4
~~~Rooting~~~
It requires my bootloader to be unlocked
~~~Unlocking Bootloader (unofficially)~~~
Using Sunshine~
"Your device has to be rooted in order to check for compatibility. " (not the exact message but the gist is I cant unlock because I don't have root)
So with those two being in mind are there anyways to bypass one or the other? I'm stuck in an infinite loop between being able to root requires a bootloader unlock and the bootloader unlock requires a root to do... Any known ways to root 4.4.4 without bootloader unlock OR unlock my bootloader officially or unofficially?
P.S. This is my first post as well so I'm not sure if my random babbling helped explain so if any information is needed I can try to provide it! Thanks for any help and suggestions

Anyone else have this issue with Bootloader Unlocking?

After speaking to Level 2 & Level 3 Support, I am still unable to Unlock Bootloader through Motorola's site. I am getting a message " Your device does not qualify for Bootloader Unlocking" so Motorola checked my IMEI and it does indeed qualify for Bootloader Unlocking so now I have to wait for Motorola Support to contact me with a resolution.
If so how did it play out and how long did it take to resolve?
Thanks in advance
Mods, please delete thread. Mission accomplished in General section.

Unlocked BootLoader - Given up hope?

Anyone know if the Dev community is still actively trying to get a unlocked bootloader for vzw?
You should ask here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s6

Relocking?

I have seen posts saying that Pixel phones that came from Verizon shouldn't be relocked.
What about phones that came directly from Google? Can the bootloader be safely relocked? I reloaded the factory image and would like to get rid of the boot time warning that I am running an unlocked phone.
It's fine on Google phones. You can unlock it again. Just make sure you are 100% stock before doing.
I always keep mine unlocked because if anything ever goes wrong you have more options for fixing the phone.

I dunno, I wouldn't relock the bootloader on the vzw variant without knowing for sure it's okay. I'm not on vzw either but have also seen posts saying not to do it. It's a Google phone but it's vzw's puppet if you bought from them.
Search in the SuperSU thread or the thread specific to unlocking your bootloader may be better. But this really belongs in the questions and answers section not development

Agree it doesn't belong here. However OP doesn't have a Verizon variant. Of course I would not lock that one unless I'm selling it or something.

Samsung s10e root...

So im a total rookie. But im a cautious one. Not just going to get all excited about the first article i read online saying i can root my phone.
My question is , is this a valid article for rooting my boost mobile s10e?

Unless somehow your s10e ever shows you OEM unlocking then you have a unlocked bootloader but US/Canada models Don't and wont unless you crack that bootloader. U3 bootloader was exploited by sampwn, but since that there has been no bootloader unlock method. Hopefully lapsus$ hack will give us some hope for a u4-u6 bootloader unlock and we can jump ship to lineage. Samsung has started to slow my phone down a lot and I want the bloat off. Cross your fingers.
