What is voodoo color? How do we use it/get it?

Color tweaks to make SAMOLED screens not look like oversaturated POS's. It's usually built into custom kernels.
Voodoo colors are settings that control color multipliers. This means that, with a few sliders, you can control how much Red, Green or Blue is displaying on your screen. You can adjust Voodoo Colors by first, flashing a kernel that supports it, such as Matr1x, Trinity, Air Kernel, etc. Once the right kernel is flashed, you can adjust the settings via the Voodoo app, available on the play store. They are very useful, especially on the stock Nexus S where I, along with many others fell that the colors are washed out.

It is a very good App, Ive tested it for some time, even if you set your phone to a frequency that causes Kernel Panics/Crashes - and set it to boot. The App will see that the phone turned off improperly, and will reboot at stock frequency, and will have an icon in the status bar explaining.
Its very small, and does the job, and has a very small system footprint too!
I'm visually impaired using the DroidX 4.5.605 rooted.
Up until this Verizon update I've found my phone usable, but I need to do something to restore the usability I once had.
1. I would like a high contrast interface, though some have suggested black backgrounds and white text, I would also be ok with the opposite.
2. I would like to double tap to open items. Right now areas like SETTINGS open on signle tap.
Can someone recommend a theme and / or a ROM that would allow me to have both of these features?
TIA,
Cm7 has some themes that are black and white I run .602 gb cm7 rom works great

I love cm7 themes and roms! Def need to take a look there!
Every release and or theme I come across seems to be dark, always. Every time I toggle negative mode I want my UI to stay that way with out the rest of the display being a negative. Is it not possible to develop this look easily hence why I have never seen it?
Negative mode is ROM setting to invert everything. Themes and inverted apps need to be internally reconfigured; time consuming. Black themes and apps don't drain battery as much as bright colors.

theres a really interesting thread about why using dark colored thremes and wallpapers dramatically helps battery life.
try and dig it up.
i ran a miui theme that looked like that. might wanna check that
I was also going to suggest MIUI ROM. It is very light and pleasant to look at with many interesting theme options.
are there any kernel that has either of the voodoo sound or voodoo color features implemented in them? i'm curious of to try those functions, and is it JB compatible?
I asked the same about Voodoo sound when I first got here. The Blaze doesn't have the same (Wolfsen?) chip supported by other SGS, etc. phones. Sorry! Don't know about Color.
Try out ViperMod in the meantime, GREAT SOUND. Cheers!
Is there any app that allow to modify the values of single color and set profiles like this app that was made for nexus 4, 5 and 6?

Our "color control" with all kernel is not that good like that, we can only change colors, not the real gamma. For exapmle: i don't wanna get a white that becomes blue, i wanna get a white that is more brighter.
With synapse, franco.kernel updater and boeffla config i can't do that, i can only fake colors.
You need to use a custom kernel with colour control, like AK kernel. Then you can use the Synapse app to make those changes.
