[Q] Problem rooting Galaxy S2 SuperOneClick

Hi,
I want to root my phone, however SuperOneClick gives issues......
As soon as I hit the root button, a window pops up named ´Exploit info´in which is stated:
CF-Root-SGS2_XW_CLK_KF3-v4.0-CWM4.tar
Odin3.ini
Odin3v1.85.exe
After confirmation (hitting yes button) ...ODIN starts ...
- killing ODIN makes SuperOneClick unresponsive
- continuing with ODIN gives an error within ODIN
- removing Odin3v1.85.exe from the list is not possible
Please help me... I dont know what I am doing wrong
Kind regards,
Bloemetjesgordijn
SuperOneClick not supporting 2.3.3
Hi,
I have looked around and read somewhere that SuperOneClick has issues with 2.3.3
Can this be the reason ...superonclick is starting Odin (doubt it)

[Q] GT-N7000 LB1 needs help in getting rooted

I like to get rooted, but my Samsung Note got LB1 already and therefore patched against zergRush and psneuter.
Been trying this already without success:
DooMLoRD_v4_ROOT-zergRush-busybox-su
SuperOneClick 2.3.3
Also played with Mobile ODIN 3 v1.85 (Desktop version), but got stuck at "SetupConnection", i guess they filled that hole too with a fix.
Or maybe the "new" recovery mode needs some clicking?
Did try on a Win7 x64, installed Kies, run phone in normal way one time, then shutdown Kies, and started in "Android System Recovery <3e>" and used ODIN.
Same thing with a WinXP, i even tried to move Kies programfolder and reboot, then try again, no success.
Believe me, i booted so much times that Win (and phone) soon thinks im using a reboot-batch.
So i spent alot of time looking into this forum, and also other forums about this.
All i can say: I have no clue, hope someone smarter then me can point me in the right direction.
~~~~~~
Im looking at Cassie's XtraLiteRom, but i cant figure out howto get rooted, anyone got a clue?
If i know howto downgrade, then my problem is getting on the way of beeing resolved.
Please dont just say: downgrade, get root, then use Mobile ODIN Pro with EverRoot.
(That is my plans, but how? lol)
No, they didnt fix that ****.
It was a n00b mistake:
I did press "Home+Vol UP+Power" and did get into "Android System Recovery <3e>"
Odin cant connect to that and just waits.
Instead press "Home+Vol Down+Power" to get into Download-mode, then press "Vol Up" to continue and flash your Note.
After done the correct way i flashed in N7000XBKK4_N7000OXXKK5_N7000XXKK5_HOME.tar.md5 (using Odin3 1.85 Desktop).
Then rooted with:
DooMLoRD_v4_ROOT-zergRush-busybox-su
Then i put in Mobile Odin Pro... and everything looks good.
Now i can relax again.
[Completed] Need Help Fixing my Semi-Bricked Galaxy S5
EDIT: See bottom of post
Hello everyone, and thanks for taking the time to attempt to help me.
Earlier today, my T-Mobile Galaxy S5 updated to 5.1.1. I searched google and came across a few links on how to root my phone (G900T) - The one I ended up using was CF-AutoRoot
I used Odin 3.07, used the tar5 file from that site above where I downloaded the root, and attempted to root the phone. Odin says everything worked as planned ''passed'' was displayed with 0 fails. I waited about 20 minutes, but my phone never rebooted, it was stuck in a boot logo loop ' 'Samsung Galaxy S5 powered by Android'' or ''T-Mobile'' was displayed.
I tried going into recovery and reseting all data / factory wipe but that didn't help, and made it even worse. Now my phone says this when I try to turn it on: ''Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again''
How do I go about getting back to stock firmware , that is rootable, so I can then proceed to install CyanogenMod?
EDIT: I used Kies and was able to get back to stock firmware and the phone turns on.
Can anyone recommend a reliable root for the G900T S5?
Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
It's good to hear that you managed to revive your phone. Many of us find it convenient to install a custom recovery such as TWRP which makes backing up and restoring, switching ROMs, and many such activities much easier. XDA happens to have an active and friendly area dedicated to the Samsung Galaxy S5, and specifically to the T-Mobile version at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5. I suggest you search that area or simply post your question in the Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5/help where our experts will be most likely to be able to guide you.
Here are official firmwares for your device. Boot your device into download mode and connect your phone, it should show up in Odin, then select the file you downloaded from sammobile and flash it from there. If you get any errors, please post the log here and I'll take a look at it.
