My son's ZTE Light V9 tablet dropped and the screen just look like the picture below. What would be the problem?
Is the LCD screen or Touch screen that is bad? I am guessing it is the LCD screen. Can anyone advise and where can I get this replacement?

Many thanks in advance

The LCD screen is definitely screwed, but the touch-screen is probably damaged as well.

Does it worth it to get it replaced or can I get this done myself?

Have a search on Google to see if you can find repair videos or strip-down instructions. It depends on your level of competence as to whether you feel like trying it, but it may cost almost as much to pay for it to be repaired as to buy a replacement.

Many thanks. I havent been able to get any repair videos or instruction. I think I should be able to do it if I can find the parts at reasonable prices

Anyone know where I can get LCD screen for ZTE Light V9? Anyone selling their old one too?

[Q] Camera Flash Module

Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement camera flash module for my Desire?
I dropped it in the loo and saved it by disassembling it and drying it out, but the flash is intermitent.
It is a small module that plugs into the circut board.
Any ideas on stores that sell them?
Thanks
I am not sure you can replace just the flash, as far as I can tell the LED is attatched to the motherboard, and that's $499 to replace. Have a look here.
*edit* Sorry I didn't read your post properly, indeed it seems you can take it out. Doh.

I've been looking for twenty minutes or so and wholesale basic backlight LEDs are all I can find, which is essentially all a flash is I suppose.
This is all I could find, sorry.

Yes both the Camera and flash LED can be removed from the motherboard.
Hi,
Finally, have you buy your flash led? If yes, where?
Because I search one too.
My led camera doesn't work.

Yellow patch on screen- lower right side

Hey folks;
Today I noticed for the first time that my phone had a small rectangular yellowish patch on the lower third of the right hand side of the display. I googled the issue and found some similar problems. It's not screen tint, it's a discolored patch; otherwise the screen is great. I've owned the phone for less than a year. What should I do? There is a little damage on the upper right corner from dropping it once soon after I bought it, will that void my warranty? Any input would be appreciated.

Woud it be possible to supply some pictures?
Edit: I believe that only water damage will void the warranty.

Wow... That's really strange.
It looks like it's been warped by high heat. Do you ever leave the phone in your car or in the sun?
Could be a device defect. So strange that It would happen now unless it's something you did. Was it onset, or did it yellow gradually?
Personally, I would just take it in.. But, depending on how this actually happened, they might claim that it was intentional. (they always do anyways)

My friend's samsung note had an issue with the display recently and she said that it had happened before (like some months ago) and she managed to get it fixed at the repair shop rly cheap, but this time round she had the same issue and when she brought it to them they asked her to change the LCD which would cost much more (close to 50USD??)
she can't afford it cuz her financials arent really doing great, and i was wondering if anyone could help ??
she didnt get it fixed and it kinda magically fixed by itself but a few days later it went back to that^ again and i am slightly skeptical of it being an LCD issue
i checked many threads with similar display issues but i couldnt find pictures of how the screen looks like in those cases... but many people said it was just a flex cable/LCD cable issue
anyone has any similar encounters?? is it fixable by replacing the cable (since its much cheaper to replace i heard)
her screen is like blue/purpleish and doesnt really seem to have any blurry issues whatsoever apart from the colours being really off
