cant find the ZTE970 kernel in that thread
I have CWM and the latest custom FW (1.3) and have done the repartitioning in the ZTE 970, but now it doesn't see the external SD card.
In the thread it says:
Question: After installing Android 4.1 based ROMs, I'm not able to access sdcard anymore, even though it is accessible via CWM recovery.
Answer: Due to hardware differences between models, the included kernel is not compatible. The alternative is to flash the latest V970 kernel compiled by @superdragonpt, which can be found here.
Well, I went there, and I cant find that kernel posted anywhere. The first 3 posts are empty.
I pressed thanks, but still nothing.
Am I such a noob? What am I doing wrong?
I just want to be able to see that microSD card.
Can someone help me and tell me where is that kernel?

Some nasty things ocurred on my xda threads and GitHub.
Currently im in The process of re-uploading all my files
Tomorow all kernel versions will be up ( i hope)
Offtopic: we got kitkat running on our device ( still on alpha /beta States)

I found a solution doing the following:
I downloaded the above mentioned 1.2 zip file, put it in the microSD and flashed it from CWM.
Then the phone stuck in a boot loop with the 4 colored circles dancing around.
I then reflashed the ROM I mentioned (the last 1.3 custom ROM that I got from this thread),
and not only did the phone work again ok, but it still holds the 2.49 internal memory partition AND it sees the microSD now !!!
I am too noob to explain this, but works just fine for me.

Mic on Skype
Hi every one...
The mic on Skype apps is not working
Only working when I'm using Bluetooth device,
The mic is working with all other recording apps
Any idea ?

Adb usb debugging enabled
Hi thanks for your post.
My phone have a broken blank screen, is rooted BUT when the screen crash the usb debugging was disabled.
I connected on bootloader-fastboot and the adb is enabled by default but with no root grants (' ._.) and i cant edit build.prop or default.prop i'm stuck with that
i developed a software that allow me to control my device from pc using adb but its useless without the usb debugging.
so, does you custom ROM has usb debugging enabled by default.?

Turned off with incoming calls
Hello
Using ZTE V970M - V970 Android 4.1.1 V1.1 MOD
Lately there is problem when there is incoming call the phone shut down after 2 sec
The battery status is good 90% and above, so it's not battery issue,
Any idea why the phone turned off with incoming calls ?

[Completed] USB OTG + Charging + ethernet kernel support for I9506 and N9005

I am trying to find a custom kernel for multiple devices to support USB OTG + host charging + ethernet.
Currently I can achieve the OTG and ethernet but not the charging.
The devices are connected through a ruggerdized case to a data radio.
Is there a reliable custom kernel available that will support this or would I be better of attempting to modify the kernel myself to achieve this. I am not that experienced with modify kernels hence would rather not go down this path.
Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

[ROM][CM12.1][MT6572] CyanogenMod 12.1 for my Mediatek Device

Ive been messing around my phone lately. A few days before, I came across a CM12 built for another mediatek device from source running on stock kitkat kernell. So, me and my friends tried to port it to our phones running MT6572 chipset and it worked!
Now, I am posting here to ask for help in fixing the bugs.
Heres a list of what works and do not work.
What is WORKING:
- Philz Touch Recovery 6.59
- Everything except for things in the "What is NOT WORKING" list.
What is NOT WORKING:
- Bluetooth
- Sim
- Wifi
- Camera
- No sound comes out from the Speaker( But in headphones, it does)
- No USB Mass storage(But in recovery, it has)
- Probably some unencountered bugs.
Help would be highly appreciated

hahahah i've ported cyanogemod 12.1 beta 4 from mt6582 to mt6572,
working:
wifi
data connection
sim
gps
sounds
mtp
adb
doesnt work
wifi hotspot (turns on but can't be detected maybe just need to change some lib)
ussd
bluetooth (won't turn on)
camera (not fc maybe able to fix)

(request) nethunter supported kernel/rom port(external wireless adapter support)

Using magisk we can install universal full kali net hunter on miui or any other custom android rom
Which works almost perfectly
But
to do advanced stuff like wifi related stuff we need a external adapter i already has a fully supported wifi adapter
But the problem is to use a external adapter through otg we need a kernel which support wireless adapter, adapter driver built in
(Like most of the official device oneplus nexus lg samsung has "Any kernel" its a kernel available for nexus devices fully supports nethunter has wifi adapter driver built in)
Even the net hunter detects the adapter (cheked using "lsusb" command, it shows apater name chipset) but we cant do anything on off nothing because of that kernel compablity
So is there any kernel has this type of functionility available for note 5 pro whyred
If answer is no
Then im requesting Devs to make or port one
Since there is both stock and nethunter kernel source available in internet
So it will be not that difficult to port
(even previous year note 4 note 3 has a ported kernel which fully functional with net hunter)
So why not for our star
So plz its an request
A rom for net hunter will be great but

if this phone supports the device, then there are adapters available in the market.
but why u want to connect via otg, you can use wifi instead...

, yes, I can do this, but I need to run it through OTG for a better signal, there is no way to patch the kernel at the moment
Phone rn7pro that there would be no misunderstanding

you have to take risk for that i guess
but at many shops they allow you to check the product before buying you can request them and check if it works.
i suppose it shouldn't have any issue while running on rn7p as its a new model and should have support for these devices by default
