Hello All ,
we asking now for your help and work on porting rom from a device has some similar features like galaxy fame (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_fame_s6810-5279.php)
or galaxy young (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_young_s6310-5280.php) to our device,
especially galaxy young for the same chipset
this will help very much to get a rom without camcoder and other bugs, maybe we can't get flash bug fixed but there's good solution by (overlay toggling app)
so do a favor for ace plus users

You cant use Galaxy Fame, because processor is Cortex A9, then have secundary camera, our device didnt have, GPU is Broadcom VideoCore IV, our have Adreno 200, Galaxy young have 3.15 MP ....

the second camera and dual sim in not the major issue and doesn't prevent the porting, the GPU difference can be solved by the drivers of adreno 200 and replace it with the broadcom driver libs and egl, all we need that good boot.img file suitable and editing and configure some files and settings to be compatible with our chipset and this can be made by professional developer
I hope one of the developers help us

all these guide tell that the two device should have the same CPU type (like arm6 or arm7) and the same manufacture, and luckly the galaxy fame its CPU type is arm7 as ace plus arm7, so the porting is possibe, just good developer can do it for different chipsets

I have a small bag, regardless of any ROM. When you try to turn on WiFi, it shows an error.
When you type * # * # 526 # * # *, show NotSet Driver loaded [NG].
I take off my back cover wifi works, also I opened it, there is no damage in motherboard, do not know what it is???
any help

First go to your custom recovery (I prefer TWRP) , and wipe everything (cache,data,system.dalvik.emmc.android secure.sd card) but backup your sd card and the external memory card of your phone and remove the external card before you wipe
then go to this website (http://samsung-updates.com/) and download the offical firmware of your device and know the code of your region (don't download the firmware of other region, you will get bugs) you can know your region code by dialing *#1234# from dialing and it will show your PDA , this your region code, and go the website i told and download the firmware of your region code,
then flash your firmware via odin , and then test your device before you restore your data and installing any app
if your device is ok so, then the problem is in your backedup data or apps
note that some addon or mods make bugs, like beats audio which bug camcorder in stock rom.
and if it's not ok. go to the customer service because this will be hardware problem

everything works fine, and then after few days, I get this error, I use Inspiration ROM v18, this is hardware problem,because, when I flash other ROM I've got same error.

you must flash the stock firmware because it has the full kernel and drivers of the device, any custom rom even if it's gingerbread wil not solve the bugs

Usb mass storage mode
I cant find the option for change mtp to USB mass storage mode.

hello kindly install miui 6.0 previous version first and then istall new version on it it will work....man
root this rom
i found solution to root this rom
just flash the following zip using CWM
and install given apk
open it and it will ask for binary update
after update it will root
review at my 4hrs experience
Rom is good NO BATTERY DRAIN at my opinion.

Mail App Crashes
I appreciate your updates on the rom. I found this new bug in your latest 5.3.20 version were the default MAIL.apk closes automatically by giving error message "Unfortunately, Mail has stopped.". I tried installing the Mail.apk from your rom 5.2.6 into 5.3.20 but there is no change in the app behavior.
Later I deleted all my inbox mails and sync to Mail.apk then its started working, but as soon as I received a mail in Inbox then the app started to Crash.
I guess the problem is with the inbox mail. Please let me know if this can be fixed....

I have a few issues:
I am getting an invalid IMEI (in notification bar). I can receive and make calls though. I have IMEI backup file of Mobile Uncle Tools, but it requires root access. I can't find any option related to "root access" in permissions settings as mentioned in the ROM's FAQs. I have attached some screen shots.
Invalid IMEI is also preventing me from making a Mi Account I think.
Please help me to get root access!
I think there's some bug in the ROM. I switched back to other ROM, fixed the IMEI and again flashed this ROM and getting an invalid IMEI error.

I don't know what made it work but here is what I did
Installed lollipop5.1 gapps(the one for custom roms) from zedomax's highonandroid.com
Boot up and installed some apps
Reboot ,got a notification from WhatsApp
Hold down it and dragged it down
Reconnect to WiFi due to bug
Exited the toggle by swiping the whole thing 3/4 way up,then close the small tab
Quicksettings then worked normally for me:silly:
Brightness changer won't work so just use screen filter from play store
Can't wait for next build

Any new updates for this ROM? Apparently using CM 12.1 gave me headaches because of multitasking issues (opening facebook, messenger and spotify is like entering the gates of hell because the tablet will be really slow) so my daily driver is this ROM for my P6200
Cant post on the original thread because of newbie reasons.
- simcard not working because of baseband missing
- brightness solved using screen brightness app (disabling auto)
- Quick settings solved by installing GApps
- Same issues mentioned in the original thread.
I hope that you're heavily working on this ROM because this is the most stable ROM that i've installed on my P6200 as of this moment (and really fast too, even WITHOUT THE ZRAM)

I've flash the new rom to p6800.
Every thing is fine except the sim card could not be reconized.

I've installed the 4th August build of OmniROM 5.1 on my P6800 and it's working fairly well, seems much smoother than the 4.4.4 Carbon ROM I was running before.
Things that I've noticed not working:
GPS (after digging through some other threads about this I notice that gpsd isn't running, and if I try and launch it from a terminal I get an error about 'only position independent executables (PIE) are supported')
Bluetooth won't enable
Can turn torch on in the quick access area, but it won't turn off again
I just can´t flash it
I´m getting this message ... Need some help

Getting this error
Google maps gives weird graphics in the latest release (I did a clean install, mediapatch included). When zooming around the tiles end up triangular andere tear up the map

Doogee fails to provide either! Nougat update for the Y6 (16+2) was too bad. Fortunately they fixed part of that problem.
I have been working on RR 5.8.4 based on kernel 3.18.35 (nougat kernel) for Doogee Y6. It boots, has sound, fingerprint, sdcard and camera working. But bluetooth and wifi wouldn't switch on (SELinux related issue).
I don't have a BL5000 and I dropped all LOS (based) projects for Y6.

I may drop the BL5000 soon if Doogee don't atleast release the official stock Rom by themselves. The one available is stock Rom backup which works fine.

hey guys i bought one of the doogee bl5000 an will receive it in a few days... cant wait... the phone seems to lack a "notification LED" and was wondering if there is any way that u can use the selfie flash as notification LED.. tnks in advance

There isn't much to put on github!
I used Elephone P9000 sources.
I have alos been working on custom kernel based on ported sources (from OUKITEL K6000 Plus).
The custom kernel (3.18.35) boots fine, has wifi, bluetooth, sound, touchscreen, sdcard, LCM but sleep and camera HAL are big issues (unable to solve, no official sources provided by DOOGEE).

There probably is an app in playstore that can do that, but it will consume your battery!

There's one on the play store I use.
It's just for sms, mms, calls
It doesn't consume much battery

it works for the "selfie Flash? or rear camera flash? or both? or u can choose which? because i kno of apps that make rear camera flash but i am lookin for one to make the selfie flash u kno like to make use if it as a notification led while the phone is laid on a table or so an screen faced upwards

Not quite sure that OUKITEL K6000 Plus has 7.1.1. It came with Android 7.0 and still runs that.
FYI, OUKITEL K6000 Plus and DOOGEE Y6 Nougat software was compiled by the same software group (HCT Group).
Build device is: hct6750_66_n. That's why it was easy to boot K6000 Plus kernel on the Y6 after injecting its drivers (LCM, especially). So, if the K6000 Plus gets Android 7.1.x, the Y6 will have it too (or I will port it). Still is it that DOOGEE did a good job with Nougat upgrade for the Y6 compared to Y6 MAX/3D that still runs Android 6.0.

It works with the selfie flash. You can choose either the back or front (selfie) flash NOT BOTH at the same time.
There's also plenty of customization. Just try it

Likely not!
Guys i am having difficulty Rooting my Doogee BL5000, i am getting to unlock the bootloader and installing TWRP but the phone wont boot after that, i keep having to Flash the firmware and try rooting again multiple times since i end up with the same difficulty
Actually it seems that after installing Twrp an rebooting, the OS is no longer Recnogised by the phone, also when i open TWPR its Asking for password, i entered the correct phone password and password fails, i think its having error and making TWRP not being able to Decrypt the Data... plz help... i really want this phone rooted

Use this method to root the phone: https://www.needrom.com/download/twrp-3-1-1-bl5000/
My BL5000 is currently rooted and everything is working ok.
Just after installing TWRP, you have to install SuperSU without rebooting the phone into Android: Boot into TWRP again, install SuperSU and then you can reboot your phone into Android.
The data partition asking for a password is solved formating that partition (bad solution, I know )

Dudeeeeeeeeee.... Thanks a Million!!!! Works like a charm.... i been trying for 2 days now to get this phone rooted.. after 1st try and i saw the phone apps and data lost when unlocking the bootloader i was left trying to root the phone before i start using it.. now i gotta work on getting the IMEI back
Small issue guys.. i am trying to set fingerprint password.. its set to fingerprint & PIN, mt fingerprint unlocks the phone fine, however so does simply swiping up..

it seems after sleeping for couple seconds it locks ok... but in the setting i have "automatically lock after sleep "Immediately"" and power button instantly locks "enabled"
o lord.. seems only i have issues.. sorry to b bothersome guys but here is a big issue nw... phone works AWESOME... wifi, fingerprint, screen, apps, everyting is ok except recently i noticed there is an issue with sim card.. it seems ok... phone showing full bar at the top but i cant make calls.... nor receive txt... after reboot its ok again for 1 call then i cant call again... helpppppp!!!! Maybe its the SIM?

Just want to know that can any one develop some custom rom for Swipe Elite (Pro and Sense) both are same just for branding only i tested stock rom of both pro and sense works on each other without any issue.
These both phones have virus problem which is there in its system/framwork/ and all files are compiled.
I tried Lineage-13.0-20170307-UNOFFICIAL-rolex which is for Redmi 4A it works perfectly only 4 issues
External Spearker not Working
Wifi not working 02:00:00:000 mac problem with stock rom working fine
Camera not working
Fingerprint sensor
Other then above all working fine can someone from XDA community try to fix the issue ...?

After spending lot of time in research finally i compiled a custom ROM which works perfectly.
1. Wifi working
2 Camera : Working on it
3. Buletooth working
4. VoLTE Working
5. 4G all Airtel / Vodafone / BSNL and JIO
6. Fingerprint : Working on it but dosn't matter
8. Google Play Store Working - Now a days google not allowing their play store on non certificated devices.

After installation boot animation was shown and
then screen was just blinking
can't boot into ROM what to do?
did you encountered like this?
