Yes, I need to get my device back to stock. I just received it as a gift and it has no navigation or back buttons. They simply do not show up on the screen. Totally unusable as is. I could really use some help as well.

Yes, it worked fine with me just flash it using cwm recovery.

Hi I was just wondering if anyone had ODIN or a cwm zip of the stock kernel. I need to flash back to the stock kernel without losing all my data? Thanks if you do. And yes I did search

Could you post it somewhere? I've been looking for the same thing to no avail. I am about to root but I want to make sure I can unroot if necessary for an update.
I plan on applying the novoodoo Peanutbutta Jelly Time 0602 kernel after CMR. I would just go nuts(voodoo fix, check out some roms) if CMR had backup/restore working, but I'll settle for just root for the moment.

Hot off the press. Just made these. 1 is the stock kernel and stock recovery and the other is a rooted kernel with custom recovery and overclocking... Enjoy and if you found this useful don't hesitate to donate. Thanks

The link for the stock one isn't working for me..... also if I flash that will I lose my root? I just forgot to make a backup before flashing gummy.....

I have a problem.... I flashed the stock one using odin, now my phone wont pass the samsung screen... Been about 10 mins..
Somebody please help..... I need to get it back up and running in the next 30 mins before work..
Ok I flashed the rooted revovery one and it brought me back to where I started.. Gummycharged rom...
I used odin to flash stock with root and it failed. I tried a different packaged and it failed to now my phone wont turn on at all.

I tried to flash SGH-I997_UCLB3_CWM_root_deodex_busybox with odin. Then i tried to flash gtg ultimate unbrick. Then i took phone back and now i have sony ex play so ty for trying to help.
I mean that really wasnt trying to sound like a smartass
i did the same thing and got stuck on boot loop, loads only to the samsung screen and i cant get into cwm with the 2 vol and power keys, can someone please help me, i really don't want to take the phone back. i wanted this rom rooted and to have my video back.

I would start reading some posts in the development forum, and other specific topics on the various steps you will need to take. But...
First you will need to install a custom recovery, like clockwork mod(cwm) or twrp.
Second, you will need to find a ROM specific to your device, making sure to check your model number and only installing a ROM if it is intended for your devices model.
Third, flash the rom .zip in the previously installed recovery.
That's really all you need to do, but you should read how to take those steps in the threads for them and your device.

When you flash a stock firmware either from that link or (recommended) sammobile.com, its called stock for a reason it turns the firmware, recovery and kernel back to....err.....stock

could anyone tell me if you can flash the stock recovery mode back onto a samsung galaxy ace 2. i have cwm on it but i would like to have it back to stock. can anyone give me a link to it?
We have only temp cwm.
If u have D-Kernel, flash stock kernel.
flash stock rom, search on sammobile, then flash it via odin, that's the best way

but do you have a link for it? the one in the forum index here has cwm on it but i need the stock recovery for the gingerbread version
Get one from the stock ROM
i tried to install a custom rom (cm-10.1-20130527-NIGHTLY-p5100.zip to be exact) it stuck.......it rebooted on its own ond now all i see is the
SAMSUNG GALXY TAB 2 10.1 SCREEN .......nothing else...... when it reboots the same thing happens..........wiping and factory reset did not help and when using odin the same thing happens........nothing ..........please help worried....
can anyone help?????? some said that the bootloader has a problem ....what should i do?

How long has it been like that on that screen? When first booting into a custom ROM sometimes it takes long.

Better flash stock Rom using Odin...& also verify it with others if they have the same problem
