HTC Desire HD accessories (Germany) - Desire Accessories

Hi,
I thought I start a new thread because I found a site where products were sold very cheap.
This is mainly forwarded to german users because the page is fully written in german.
Just take a look in there.

[Q] where to get extended battery in canada?

hi there,
through this thread here, i have found this battery for the captivate. but i cannot find something like that in canada.
at least not for a decent price, as demonstrated by the seidio products - about which i'm also skeptical because of what people say in the reviews.
can anybody here help me out? :/
its called ebay.CA for canada
and try searching XDA/Captivate/Accessories for "battery" theres several threads already.
I wrote one~!
really? ebay.ca? you don't think i've tried that?
but i must admit, i did not know that there was an accessories subsection because i knew there was android development and here this "general", so i did not even think there could be a more appropriate section. sorry about that.
but whether i'll actually find something there... i'll see, i suppose.
ebay.ca that where i bought my extended battery! you obviously didnt search well...
here let me do it for you
http://shop.ebay.ca/i.html?_nkw=cap...battery&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
21 results including the sedio expensive ones
yeah... i'd post an ebay link as well, if i could. because what you just arrogantly threw at me was not what i asked for. you obviously didn't read my first posting well.
"but i cannot find something like that in canada."
i'm not big on buying stuff from china that takes forever to ship and where i have to deal with people who might only understand a third of what i'm saying.
that's why i asked about canadian sources from the very beginning. and the possibly better quality.
jeez, what a nice welcoming.
I doubt you'll find any extended batteries in stores locally, just order it from ebay, all the auctions are in english.

[Q] help... accessories...

im sorry if im posting in the wrong part of the forum... but as it seems there are users from all over the world so i would like to ask if anyone knows where i can buy accessories for my sensation in bulgaria or a company that i can order from that wont rip e off? im located in plovdiv..
You have a choice-you can purchase them through HTC website itself but you are paying quite a bit of money.Alternatively there are loads on e-bay BUT you cannot go near anyone who has a feedback less than 99.7%.What are you after exactly as there are specials on extra batteries at present (check the battery and read the info) so you know you are gettig the correct model and it shoud be MODEL NO BG 58100.Charging docks are avail as are all other accessories.if in doubt you can always e-mail HTC direct and they will give you a call but you have to give them a time and day you are home. You may have some difficulty with some Sellers who may not sell to your Country.Any questions, let me know.Good luck

What can i expect from a china phone?

Hello,
im looking for a new cheap phone and i just asked myself if i should buy one from china.
i looked espcially at this one: just go on dealextreme and write /p/3-5-capacitive-android-2-2-dual-sim-dual-network-standby-quadband-gsm-tv-cell-phone-w-gps-wi-fi-70778 after that into the browser.
I would like to know how it peforms in comparison to a htc magic.
I think i would buy a htc magic or a china phone but i dont really know which one would be better.
i hope you can help me
yours sincerelly

From experience I can tell you most but not all of the Chinese knockoffs are heavier and not as good build quality. Also I have always had problems with their capacitive touch screens. Call quality is decent depending on the phone, And it will be real android but good luck finding any dev support for it. Not trying to tell you which to get just trying to give you the facts of my personal experience.
w8 for these type of phones from china

The Samsung "R" is considered a cheaper version of the S2. It is probably better to get a used S2. The Magic was released two years ago, so a used Galaxy S or S2 would be a better idea. The "R" also has a bigger screen.
China phones are known to be cheaper in quality. Your money, so far, is used better elsewhere. Good luck !
i dont want to spent a lot of money for a smartphone so it will be a cheap normal phone or a china phone.
Could someone tell me more about the performance of china phones?
yours sincerely
ps: thanks so far for your replys
Many of the world's mobile phones are manufactured in China, quality is good, if it is China's domestic mobile phone is more limited, but the quality of foreign trade and price are guaranteed
You need to look for phones that have these names: Lenovo, Zopo, THL, ZTE, Meizu, and Huawei. They have good quality. Check out this site for some of the phone models mentioned and some reviews of China phones: China Phone Review
"Air Phone" vs "iPhone"
I wouldn't be in a hurry to buy one.
I cannot supply the following URL as I am a junior menmber; and very annoyingly I am NOT even allowed to thank people... (serioulsy)
"Youtube" then type the following "/watch?v=TUT39op2Pp8"
I did consider getting the "Air Phone 4" (See above) fortunately this review saved me the money. I'd be looking for a secondhand UK Android smartphone.
That said it is usually the data that is the expensive part; so I would be more concerned by the tarriff.
(HTC Rooted Sensation - ICS - Very happy with the HTC - I wouldn't now buy the iphone by choice)

Just followed your link - your chosen phone was £105.
According to Play.com (i'm sure they can be beaten on price)
HTC Explorer £100
HTC Wildfire £150
I would rather have an HTC rather than a random cheap deal.
For the best deal you do need to factor in calls/data/texts, say over 24 months usage.
I dont know about a phone, but I got my tablet from there and have had zero issues with it. Got the Novo 7 Aurora and I love it.

[Q] Is MobileFun a reputable merchant?

First my apologizes if this is the incorrect place to post & also if this appears a foolish question,
what is the general opinion regarding MobileFun what are your experiences with them are they any good?
I've attempted to contact them before to see if there is any kind of customer service via Email but was ignored this was nearly a year ago thing may have changed since then.
And I'm only too aware that many company's falsify customer reviews on both review centre and also on Google shopping cart.
Being an owner of an Galaxy note, there are few online stores that stock any accessories MobileFun being the most prominent on Google search results in the UK.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
Oops! What a cleshay noob move on my part
I just knew I'd find a way to muck it up somehow.
Hi
Let me first put my cards on the table - I am biased (because one of my mates is a buyer there).
But I do genuinely buy a fair whack from there, and I can honestly say I can't think of one major issue.
All I can say is if you buy and have any issues - just PM me and I'll badger my mate to make sure everything gets sorted.
PS don't know if it makes a difference, they won some awards recently
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/blog/about-us/
PPS My mate told me they had a a delivery of Zenus Galaxy Note cases, which will be going ontop the website today or tomorrow.... just in case you were interested.
Thanks for taking the time to reply
I can't help but be a little suspicious when I see reasonable price on niche products aka galaxy note.

Mugen Power

This is my preview post of Mugen Power batteries for the Touch pro and the Desire S
Mugen Power preview
http://mygadgets101.blogspot.com/2012/07/mugen-power-pre-review.html?m=1
I now have the Touch Pro battery and I'm testing it very thoroughly. I will update the blog soon.
The blog page has been updated
In the past I thought about to buy this battery but I read in some boards some ppl have problems with unloads and so on.... Now I bought a 2nd battery for 11 € @Amazon If I stay outside I just switch.
no trouble here
I'm having a great user experience with it on the touch pro. I still want to get one for the desire s and continue the blog. I have heard of these problems before, I'm not having a problem but I'm not using one on my droid yet. I will update asap.
my touch pro will now stand by for 4 days with it online on BB connect 24 hours a day. I can use the device all day long now. Are you having a bad time with uploading?
Would appreciate an update on the Desire S battery asap! I am really curious as to whether it's worth it or not.
Sent from my Desire S using xda app-developers app

Yeah, why else post in Desire S forum?
Thread to close
Hi all I'm sorry for the long break in the update process, this is due to having no money with which to make a perchance of the Desire S battery, you see when I first wanted to buy a Mugen battery I contacted the company and asked them reasonable questions about the batteries and what to expect and so forth, in the course of the conversation I asked if there were any way to get a better discount than 7% the rep asked me if I blog, I said yes I do and can. He then asked if I could do a review of the battery I wanted to buy. I said sure and he asked for links to the places I intended to post so I gave him many links and I asked him what I should do next, he said post a review and then send me links back to the review, so I said but I haven't used the unit yet how shall I review it, all he would answer was post links to your review. Well I couldn't post a lie I hadn't tried the unit; so I posted a preview and a review of a product I had used though not the one I wanted it was just for a personal test and to get the use of my TP back. So I contacted the rep again and said check out my post and see if you can give me the unit or a better discount like you promised; after he looked up my links he scolded me for posting at all and then broke communication with me. So I was going to continue the blog when I could afford to buy the battery, but I have been strapped for cash till even this posting now. I'm deeply sorry and I have learned not to trust reps online so easily and I will be closing the thread and blog as I'm no longer a supporter of Mugen due to this treatment.
I got mygen power battery about month ago and Im quite satisfied with same...I have about 20% better result than with stock one (18-20h of usage instead 13-15h on 3g); Im using JellyFireBean v2 rom (best ever for desire s)!!
Mugen also here, no probles at all. Recommended.
