Seriously though, i don't thinks there's a diy fix for this. I think you may have to change your screen

I have this too because I lightly stepped on my screen and there's about two or three marks. I'm assuming the only way to fix it would be to replace the screen. I think I may have damaged the hardware too because the screen shuts off randomly some times.
You probably need a new "digitizer"
If you look on ebay they are currently selling for around $60
Also go to youtube and look for a tutorial on how to do it. Here is one I found - search on this

Yes I was a little worried but i was REALLY careful to not tear ribbon cables or soldered wires while taking it apart and man the glue that holds the digitizer down is ridiculously strong!

Did u heat it with a heating gun? That helps a lot. A hair dryer works too but takes a little longer.

If its the same one I saw from gadget fix on ebay its for $349 that way too much. I found the digitizer for the p990 but im not sure if it works. I know the LCD work because ive read a few ppl doing it but i havent been abe to find anyone yet saying that the digitizer works too. They should because it the same phone but i want to make sure before I do it. My biggest issue is that im stuck, I dont know if i should just wait another week and get the sensation or fix the g2x.
Hello xda community!
With an unfortunate drop from my high up bed, my g2x's screen cracked.
Thankfully the entire screen still works just fine.
My question is, does anyone know where I should go to have my screen replaced? Or if anyone knows a good way to replace the screen?
Any help and suggestions will be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Well if you have the time and the skill. Do it yourself. Fleabay has them for $50..

I have replaced a few smartphone digitizers now and it is not that hard. Just watch a youtube video and get the right tools on amazon for cheap. I would say the skill level is 6/10.
or you could pay double that for a company to do it for you and be without a phone for a week or two...
I have a dugutuzer for sale. Brand new. Its not hard at all. Took me 20 minutes. Pm me if you want it. Ill even send you the tools needed.

In my area, if you look at Craigslist, there are so many people that offer cellphone repair services. Try Craigslist.
Amazon sells a replacement kit for about 60 dollars it has the tools and screen. I did it in under 20 min.
Just search Amazon buddy and then search YouTube for a video on how to take it apary

The only problem I have with doing it myself, is that I have tried replacing the screen on my old mt3g slide and ended up screwing up my phone, and had to throw it away.
After that, I don't feel safe doing it.
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
Thankfully I found this thread and went the Amazon route as well - $54 and about 30 mins of prying a few stubborn glass shards off the frame later my g2x is working flawlessly.
I'd even go so far as to say this new digitizer is a little more responsive than the original one!

Haha I know how you feel with the mt3g slide. That one is impossible because one of the slidescrews got stripped for me. Thankfully I had drill bits handy. I just replaced my aunts g2x last Monday and it is easy if you buy the digitizer with the bezel, that way you don't have to worry about prying the glass. Difficulty is like 5/10. All you have to do is take your time. If a 17 y/o can do it, so can you

I just bought one of these for about 23 dollars same seller. I replaced it but the digitizer does not work as good as the original. It is not as accurate to the touch and hardly works at all with a screen protector on it. If I had to do it over I would get the one mounted to the frame. It worked like the original.

Ok I've been on system overload since receiving my tab a few days ago.
Can anyone tell me why there are a couple of different nib types supplied with the note 10.1?

One reason is that they are spares which some users say eventually the nib wears slightly and needs to be replaced, another reason is the different feel that you get when using the other type with the note. The choice is yours!
Actually thats a very good question! All I can tell you is that I didn't change it since I got the tablet mid of August.

When I said eventually, I read on one of the posts in xda somewhere that they changed it after a year or so. The one that comes fitted with the pen apparently has a rubber tip (little bit of grey on the tip) this may wear sooner than the plastic ones. It all depends on usage I suppose and how heavy handed you are on the screen.
Wacom includes extras with all their digital tablets so I suspect that they included the spares out of policy along with different types for the experience for the user.

There is a metal ring like device that accompanies the nibs. Small hole at the end of the metal ring. Slide the nib in the hole and grip it and pull. Reverse will switch a new one in.

When I saw that I asked him right away if he dropped it or if his pockets were tight. He responded no to both. I've never seen him drop it, in fact the phone is still flawless. Nevertheless, the ended up shipping out a new phone. AT&T has really good CS. I'll let you know when the phone gets here. Oh yea, almost forgot, his screen is turning yellow now too.

Yea after seeing the updated photo there's no doubt that was caused by pressure. Sat on old phone before by accident and the screen did the EXACT same thing.
I wouldn't say this is a screen issue, just a damaged phone by accident :*(
Hopefully cs doesnt consider that physical damage and charge full retail price after they get it..

I just got a refurbished tf700 and noticed the screen lifting along the longer edges. I have another Asus tablet that is fine so didn't expect this l, even though I've read it isn't uncommon. I have the opportunity to get a replacement, though there is no guarantee it'll be any better. Just wondering if there is a fix for the lift if needed. Tablet is good otherwise.
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
My new TF700 wasn't any better after a return for unrelated reasons. I had some screen lifting but it wasn't severe enough for me to return the tablet but other things were going on. I just figured that would be resolved when I got a new tablet. Turns out the new one had minor screen lift, just in different places. I guess that is what I have to deal with since I've had two perfect nexus 7's
Sent from my Optimus G using xda app-developers app
I haven't heard of any crazy issues with excessive screen lifting -- but be sure to check again just to be sure! Several users have reported re-fixing the glue by VERY gentle heating (going slow is key here!) with a hair dryer.
Thanks. Making me wonder if I should just keep the one I have then. It isn't super noticeable, but I clearly see it since I use it most. My nexus 7 is perfect and I use that just about every day for the past 5 months.

Meh, mine does sometimes, but I do not have the feeling that is a quality issue. Also, in my case at least, the screen lifting is not that bad.
My lift is just at edges so touching the screen has no impact, yet. It looks like they pried it apart to do the refurb and maybe didn't seal it back properly
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
Even mine occasionally clicks, so does my sgs3. It's normal, there's space between the different components. It's not a vacuum
As for the screen lift, no, dont have that. Mine's European, by now we've established that the quality demands for the EU are higher. Best Buy units tend to have those issues, though.

My tf300 is also from the EU: not really any problems except clicking and sometimes ghost touches
