Headphones?

I'm using diddy beats on my sensation and when my music is on if I try to switch a song the phone calls the last person in my call log. Any ideas?

Lol, I had some issues with them on the g2x too. They sound really good tho so I don't wanna get rid of them if I don't have too.

Accord. to Monster, the 'Control Talk' button for skipping tracks is only supported on iPhone 3GS!

Im having the same problem with the official htc headphones that came with the phone. if i twist them a little in the headphone socket, it calls that last person in my dialled list.

My buttons on the factory headphones only work sometimes. It's so frustrating from factory headphones

The buttons on the ibeats that came with my xe work flawless so far. They also sound pretty good althogh i would not have bought them separately...akg or beyerdynamic would be my choice.

I have ibeats from a HTC Rezound. All controls work. Also have the Ecko Unlimited zip buds with inline mic and button with work with android as well. But only has one button to operate. I have these and are looking to sell them as well for 20 bux shipped in the US if interested.

Also A Jays One+ work with android as well, but haven't tried them. I heard mixed reviews on them. A Jays have a great android app for free from the market that can be used with most headsets that can control and map functions like volume control. I use the app with my ibeats buds that came with the HTC Rezound.

Lock Screen Clock Removal

Is there anyway I can remove the clock.from my lock screen? I'm using WP Clock and the clock is getting in the way for the wallpaper on the lockscreen.

So, nobody answered and I dug a little deeper. Couldn't find a way. But I did find an app in the market called 'Widget Locker' and it fixed my problem. Hope that helped.

hey boss i found this mod for 3.5 that can do exactly what you been asking, kind of just stumbled upon it and remembered this post. let me know if you have found this already

If you would have search you would fine that i made a thread showing how to remove the lockscreen clock and other things from the lockscreen

I did search, did not come across anything. Don't come to my post and be a rude jerk. That craps don't fly to well with me.

thinking of buying sensation xe but have some doubts

hay guyz first of all greetings
iam thinking of buying the htc sensation xe this is my first android try so iam debating between the xe and sammys gs2 iam liking the xe for allot of points including the curved design the red color shceme teh 16 gig m.c and the 100 bux ibeats earphones any way i have a couple of doubts that make me afraid of the xe too
okay my doubts are
1-the battery life i heared that sense is a bad battery hog
2-the ram is 756 mig while s2 has 1 gig
3-the deathgrip even all xe users i know denied it
okay these are all my doubts wish someone tells me what he thinks which of the is better for these uses
1-chatting on ims apps
2-music i am addicted to my headphones(i like the ibeats since they say the wires are platted on chrome or gold that protects it from getting cut ps:i suffered with nokia and cheap headphones that dont make through a month of use and u lose sound from it
3-id love to watch some movies or videos on my phone

1. I'm a light user and I find the battery life quite good (standard XE battery).
2. Yes the ram is only 768mb, there's not much you can do about that. I've had Sense restart several times since I've had my XE, it's not a daily occurence though.
3. It does suffer from WiFi deathgrip, but it's only noticable if you're a fair distance from the router. I haven't yet lost WiFi signal all together.

IMO, you shud go for an HTC, have tried almost all brands and I'm back to HTC again

My brother-in-law has an sgs2. Great phone right out of the box. Touchwiz is kinda blah, but stock Sense on the Sensation is laggy and I got tired of the carousel after a while.
I would go sgs2, but that's just me. Take your time and play with both phones a lot before you take the plunge!
Oh and yes, WiFi deathgrip is very real, but after I started using the htc trace keyboard, I haven't really used landscape much except to watch videos.

this is just awesome you can use your android device normally and then when it is connected to the dock it become a pc

Personally, never really liked Linux distros on the desktop, I tried quite a few from Ubuntu to OpenSUSE and they didn't do anything significantly better than Windows did.
However, this looks very nicely done. It just seems seamless, especially things like the Address book being synced across both OS's. It genuinely adds something useful to a docked phone.

So is it already made for our phones, or are they trying to get people to inquire to know just how many people are interested?

It requires usb host mode and we haven't it yet...

take a look at the link i have provided...you can use ubuntu when you're phone is docked so yes you will be able to do it and use it as a desktop computer that's exciting
