Sorry, i don't wanted to be rude thanks for your shared widgets, i was searching a working accuweather (5x2 resizable) for leaked chinese rom; it's strange but original accuweather widget from GNote's gingerbread roms pushed on ics fill only 4x and not 5x.

I have Note Rooted! Custom ROM
Download is OK
I try to install
1)As a Regular App:-
Install it normally like other aps
ERROR: application is not installed
2)As a System App:-
Copy in system/app using Root Explorer
Set permissions as rw-r--r--
Reboot
I can't set permission with root exlorer!!!!

I was interested in using this too but didnt work for me (failed to load widget or something)
Mind you, I just got scared (didnt want to mess up phone) and unistalled it without trying to figure it out...
(Rooted, stock ROM)
Perhaps OP should make some more detailed instructions?

Use root explorer!!!and put in system/app and set rw-r--r-- as permisoons

Just click on the little grey button "mount r/w" in Root Explorer and it will work.

in My Galaxy the transparent weather work fine!
EDIT!!!
If I touch on the widget, I can open the weather in 4x5 not like a stock widget 5x5!!!

Coz its 4x2!!!CAn U Upload the Stock 5x5 for me!!I will make Transprent it also!!

Here you go its the 5x5 stock Samsung widget. If you can make semi-transparent and full transparent I would appreciate it.

Confirmed all working correctly on Alpha6 of Dhiru, Samsung galaxy SL i9003. Just have to use Titanium backup pro to remove old Gallery first and install apk file as normal

Will the new font zip work on any android?...

Well, almost.
Rename it to "Gallery2.apk" and then exchange it with the current one in your system/app folder. Do not forget to set permissions (RW-R-R) and make a backup of your current Gallery2.apk.
Info: From Android 4.1+ there is no seperate Camera.apk, google merged the camera inside the Gallery, so it contains 2 apps. Gallery and Camera.

so here is my modded deodexed accuweather app with transparent backgrounds, i let the animations (cloud, snow) there so it looks very nice on my wallpaper (replace AccuwheatherPhone2013.apk and AccuweatherPjone2013.odex in system/app with attached deodexed apk)

You Need ROOT for this MOD !!!!!
Detailed installation process:
-) download the apk
-) copy the apk to your sdcard
-) with e.g. Root Explorer copy the apk first only to /system
-) rename the apk to its original name (without my mod-extensions on the beginning)
-) set the permissions to rw-r--r--
-) set owner and group to root
-) move the apk-file only now from system to system/app and replace the original one (or rename the original to.bak before)
-) if there is also an odex-file with same name delete it (or rename it to .bak)
-) clear dalvik-cache and cache
-) reboot

is there a chance to have the font in blue or black since i use bright wallpaper, or telling me how 2 do it if it is easy to do
the other option 4 me is to have another widgets where u can control font color, size etc etc

it depends on if nova can see samsung stock widgets, for example apex laucher dont see Splanner widget
the mod has nothing to do with launchers, it just replace the stock widget with another stock widget but moded

ok so first install external launcher the one you whant on playstore
copy your old launcher to your sd card (just in case) and delete it if you have my magazine you can delete it also
download the version you whant 4x5 or 5x5 and copy it to system/priv-app and set correct perm if your rom is odex so remove touchwiz.odex
download wallpapercropper and wallpaperpicker and paste it to system/priv-app , remove wallpaperchooser.apk
download the apk secthemechooser + flipboard + flipboard briefing and the theme you whant and copy it to system/app and set correct perm
reboot your phone and start with external launcher go to setting application and go to the last tab you can see touchwiz so clik on it and supress data
push the home button to start touchwiz

Change name of 4x5launcher to SecLancher3.apk and overwrite old one and fix permission, don't forget to install any costum launcher as a backup

I hade already deleted seclauncher3.apk and its odex file before copy 4×5 launcher. Then is it required to rename?

Yes you have to have root access to switch the note 3 apps for the s6 apps, they're system apps and need permissions to be set when making the change.

I tried getting the weather widget working and i have failed, can you inform me on what you deleted? i deleted both the accutweather apk file with odex files located in the arm folder, i also did the same process for weather daemon and i get errors. i then restored and did the process all over again this time deleting cache and dev and i still get errors.
i am using 5.0 rooted att rom

There's probably an easier way, but here's the steps I took:
Removed widget from homescreen
Deleted both Accuweather and WeatherDaemon folders in /system/app (Sorry, I don't remember the exact names. You'll know when you see them)
Created new folders AccuweatherPhone2015 and WeatherDaemon2015 in /system/app
Copy AccuweatherPhone2015.apk to AccuweatherPhone2015 folder
Copy WeatherDaemon2015.apk into WeatherDaemon2015 folder
Changed permissions on both folders to rwxr-xr-x
Changed permissions on both APKs to rw-r--r--
Finally, I deleted folders com.sec.android.daemonapp and com.sec.android.widgetapp.ap.hero.accuweather from /data/data
Rebooted
Added new widget to homescreen

Hello everyone, I need the apk for S Note for Lollipop from our Note 3. I did something stupid and removed it by mistake and now I can't find anywhere. Can anyone please provide me with the apk or a backed-up app.

Hey THEONEMARK, did you get the S6 email app to work? I love the looks of that, and would like to get it going. I looked through that thread, and didn't really see much regarding the email app. Can you point me in the right direction or post the needed email files/folders here? Thanks for any help!
