For as long as I have had my TF101 I can never download files bigger than 3-4mb's. And what i do download never leaves my notification bar. I have deleted them, cleared all cache. Has anybody had these problems and resolved it?

Never had that problem im on Revolver 4.1.1 also, does this happen on Dolphin Browser HD ?

I am on Revolver 4.1.1 and I have the same problem. It does not matter which browser I use anything downloaded shows up in the notification and won't go away. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The problem continues. I did a full wipe and reinstalled but it didn't fix anything. After I download a pic from the browser it was stuck in my notification bar. It doesn't matter what browser I use to download an item. i even tried using an app called Downloader Pro.
Its seems that this issue will remain due to the lack of interest from others to lend possible help.
Good thing life will continue lol

Disappearing Apps!

Does anyone else have the problem I'm having where when I open up my app drawer, and most of my apps aren't in there but when I go to the market it says installed and I'm able to open it from there. I'm running Clean Fusion V1 right now but this has happned on every ROM I've flashed. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem or a way to fix it.

I have had this problem even on the Stock build.
I had the app in the Application uninstall list, but it was not in the tray, and the homescreen link (shortcut?) showed the "android icon".
I HAVE noticed that if you don't let the thing catch-up on boot (let it boot a solid 5 minutes) things like this happen, especially when booting the 1st time after a ROM load, or stock restore.
It is all about them screwing with Vanilla source and the crappy TW Launcher tweaks they did to make TW particulars work the way THEY want it to, NOT CORRECTLY THAT IS...

Flash Video Fullscreen broken since ICS

im using the revolution HD 3.0.0 rom and have tested this with 4 different browsers, but ever since I got ICS i cannot use flash video in fullscreen anymore. windowed works fine but assoon as i want to expand to fullscreen, no matter what website, the sreen just stays completely white or black but the sound still runs.
already searched the forum, none of the hreads offer any solutions.
anyone else havint his isse and know any fixes for this? other than that ICS seems to run quite poorly, maybe its the ROm im using but i have frequent app crahes etc.. i want to stay with ICS but it seems very broken.
I have never run into that issue and have used various ICS ROMs for the Transformer.
Hell, I really haven't run into any problems since using ICS based ROMs on the Transformer. I have noticed improvements more so than bugs since updating the Transformer to ICS.
EDIT: I just tested the fullscreen Flash video and it worked perfectly fine. I was able to fullscreen the video and go back to the regular view without any issues. Also resized the webpage to see if it would crash.. nope.
I upgraded to revolution HD 3.2.1 now, still the same issue.
I dont get it.. im using the most recent flash player, wiped the tablöet before upüdating..
so whats different for your tf101? what rom are you on? have you tried several websiteswith flash video?
Yes, and I have used several ROMs. Stock, Revolver, Android Rev, AOKP and now Megatron 1.0.4.
Are you installing some flash .apk you kept around for whatever reason? Or are you downloading it from the Market? If the former, I will smack you.
no im using the flash from the play store so the most recent one
now on revolution 3.2.0, still having the same issue.. any help?
You could try flashing Guevor's Kernel and the Nvidia codecs, they help out flash video play alot.

[Q] New Rom, cannot download videos instead of streaming them now

I rooted and flashed the Tweaked 2.2 ROM. Before I did this I was on stock 2.3.6. My problem is this: Before I did all this I was able to browse sites in the stock browser, click on a video link, and was given the choice to either use the browser (which would download the video) or the video player (to stream the movie). Now, I am not given these options and it will only open the video player. I checked in the video system app to see if I could reset the "Launch on default" option but it is already greyed out. I did that with the Browser app as well and it was greyed out.
If anyone knows of why my phone is doing this now and how to fix it, I'd be very grateful!
Thanks in advance.

This is most likely due to Tweaked using the AOSP browser as opposed to the TW one. You can always get the TW one back through tweaktools - it's in CWM Mods > ThemeTweaks.

Got the stock browser through tweaktools. Rebooted. Installed. Rebooted. Opened the browser and it locked up my phone. Long pressed the power button to reset. Tried to open again. Same thing. Re-did the entire process of installing the browser and it is still doing it. Only shows one browser installed right now. Should it show two (stock and Tweaked)?
Went back to the AOSP browser and it hadn't locked up since. Still can't download instead of stream though. Guess I'll try Firefox or Dolphin browser.

Looking into this - not sure what the issue is, but hopefully I'll have it figured out soon. I have a workaround, but I'm not a fan of it. That being said, it seems the best I can do at the moment.
In tweaktools, there are two things you will NEED to do to get the TW browser -
1) Applications > preselected apps > TWAOSPapps > StockFP1TWBrowser
2) CWM Mods > ThemeTweaks > StockFP1TWBrowserFwk
That ought to do it
Tried what you said and it worked perfectly! I had also installed Dolphin browser and wasn't able to download instead of stream with it either. But after I got the stock browser back and uninstalled Dolphin, it was giving me the option again.
Thanks for your help!

L I B. You can download videos off CMT. Whoda thunk?
I didn't have to uninstall Dolphin for it to work though.

Power Control Widget Vanished

My Nexus S (i9020a) is running on Jelly Bean, and after recently uninstalling the beta of Apex Launcher and then reinstalling the stable version, I noticed that my Power Control widget was gone.
After I noticed that, I uninstalled Apex Launcher completely (cleared data for the app first to be sure). Still, the Power Control widget was no longer available on my phone.
For the time being, I have downloaded a third-party equivalent off of the Play Store, but I'd really like to know what happened here. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, is there any way to get it back?
App is called power toggle now in play store

Nope. That's a third-party app. The stock Power Controls Widget is nowhere to be found in the app store.
Hi
I'm on the Nexus 7 and have noticed exactly the same thing. This is the stock Android Power Control Widget. It was there with stock launcher and also with Nova Beta, but with Apex, its nowhere to be found.
This just happened on my GNex as well. I figure we're suffering the same issue. Mine vanished after trying out a few 3rd party ones strangely enough. I haven't found anything yet to fix it. Rebooting after an uninstall didn't help either. Any ideas, peeps?

This literally just happened to my GNex aswell
Lol. What the hell? I'm using Widgetsoid for the time being, but this was totally random. I tried reflashing my stock ROM, pushing the launcher via ADB. Zip. Ziltch. Nada. Wonder what could be causing it...

Perhaps a full wipe is in order... But I can live without it for now
Word. I don't really care anymore. It's more of a nuisance that I can't find out why it did.
It becomes unavailable in the widget drawer? What if you on press an empty area on the desktop and select widgets, is it in that list?

No, no longer in the list (for me anyway).
Hi,
Just my 2 cents.... I'm not sure About JB but all other ROMs the app had to be on the phones memory for the widget to even be available or on the widget list.... so perhaps whichever file the power control is in, maybe it got switched over to SD card
Or
An App that was installed moved the files that are needed for that power control widget.
I know its a stab in the dark but ...
Good luck

Go launcher ex
Replace your launcher with GO LAUNCHER EX, free on the Play Store. It is the BEST launcher by FAR. Super fast, tons of options, always free.
Thanks but no thanks
Did a factory reset and Power Control widget is back (on stock launcher), stock N7 JB.
I figured that's what I would have to do to get it back. Thanks for reporting back with a fix .

No worries. Have posted the problem on the main Alex thread, but no comments on it. Also have emailed the Dev, so hopefully it can be resolved soon.

backup your data, and do factory reset maybe it can help to restore the control widget

[Q] Swiftkey Language Packs disappear on boot (also no Google Search)

I've been running Zap Blaster v2.2 for a few days and have been pretty much pleased with it except the following two problems:
1. Most of the time after a reset I have to reinstall the language pack in Swiftkey.
2. Google search force closes whether I use it from the top left corner, the app drawer or google now.
I've posted this in that particular ROM thread with no joy so was wondering if anyone has had any similar problems and hopefully possible solutions?
I've tried a couple of different ROMs but I am hoping to stay on 4.1.2 as I hate the 4.2.2 pull down menu (that was the whole reason for me originally rooting), and in all fairness Zap Blaster pretty much does the job except for these issues.
Cheers!
Same deal. Was working find then stopped working all the sudden. ITried uninstalling and reinstalled apt. No go. Was thinking of reinstalling rom. Was also wondering if anyone eles had issue

I did see a solution somewhere else for the Google search problem although it was for a different Rom, might be worth trying though. The solution was to uninstall it with titanium backup and reinstall from play.
I'm using Pacman all in one Rom now which is excellent. The pros of 4.2.2 without the God awful notification bar along the top
