Anyone know if any apk for iheartradio works on the Inspire? I downloaded one from mediafire earlier and it loaded fine but wouldn't connect to stream any music.

Ok cool...but if anybody else is interested...here's a link to help them get the app from the official iheartradio website.
http://www.iheartradio.com/cc-common/radio_app/
I had a problem finding this app on the market too, it just simply wouldn't show up in any searches. I downloaded and installed it directly from their website.
Strangely enough, I hear a lot of popping when I have the iheartradio app in the foreground. But if I hit "home" or back-arrow out of the app the audio pops seem to go away. I'm running Inspired Saga 1.1, although I had this same issue with Coredroid 5.3 and 5.4. I never noticed this happening with the stock ROM.

Free Music MP3 Downloader v2 removed from market

Looks like Free Music MP3 Downloader v2 has been removed from android market. I like that app ...Where can i get it?
thank you for help
Yeah I know it! I miss it too. I was running gingerbread and flashed backto froyo cause of the battery issue. I went to the market to get it back and it wasn't there.
I liked it too and when i got my new phone it was gone. I found mp3 downloader Pro v1.3. it has lyrics, album search, more mp3s, and all that kind of stuff. Its the one with a blue icon and a smiley with headphones.
Isn't that app warez?
Whats app warez?

Here's a definition of warez.
Go to the market and download gtunes music lite. I did that the other day and after it installed it asked if I wanted to download the non market version so I could download music. I said ok and installed it. It works great!

Watch TV on Android

There's a pretty nice app on the market called Androidvideo Recharged. It has many tv shows to stream to Android. It doesn't use flash, so it is compatible on more devices than most streaming apps.
Cheers , but I do prefer Icestream.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.stonyx.icestream
It can't be beaten, and its free.
Thanks for your suggestion though.
Regards
IceStream uses flash though, and just links to other sources on the internet that you can go directly to on your browser.. They can be removed at any time also. Androidvideo has their own servers and can ensure that videos won't randomly be removed.

Don't forget to tell everyone that the app is free but you have to pay to watch anything.
I prefer SPB TV, it has not that many channels, but enough for me, and it's free.

You don't have to pay to watch anything. What are you talking about. They do have a premium membership but they also have free videos. If your not smart enough to figure that out, maybe you.shouldn't be on XDA.

Ice stream isn't even on the market anymore and none of the links on my version of the app work anymore nor have they for weeks. Least with androidvideo, when they have a server problem, they have their videos back up within days, not weeks.

currently still using ice stream and almost all of the links I have chosen work. Did you download moboplayer and select soft-decoding in the settings?

[Q] DLNA on ICS

Our stock GB ROM had DLNA built in, but on the few ROMS I've investigated for the Skyrocket, there doesn't seem to be any DLNA functionality. Is there any way to put the DLNA apk from GB on an ICS release?
Thanks in advance.

Just use the ics dlna.apk. it should be in romracers or mhx's full bloat.

The best DLNA alternative that I have found comes seven close to allshare is: bubbleUpNp
It's the closest software I've found to samsung allshare app for us custom rom users. As a matter of fact it might be better. Thought I might share .

Android 1.6 Youtube Apk Anyone?

So I have a cheap budget 5 in tablet. It handles youtube mobile video very well, but it has a wonderful time trying to actually load videos in the youtube apk. So does anyone have a older version? Maybe like android 1.6 old since maybe it can work with that.

Try here --> http://www.freewarelovers.com/android/app/youtube. Not all versions have download links but there are versions 1.6.20 (E), 1.4.17 and 1.3.
