[Q] Camcorder: TV-Out and Record Time Limit - Captivate General

Is there any way to increase Camcorder recording time beyond 59:59? I can record infinitely with other apps (DailyRoadsVoyager to name one), but the stock app is the one I want/need to use.
Is there any way to output camera/camcorder through TV-out? When I try to do so, my TV shows "TV-out not supported while application running. Phone display only." Why is this disabled anyway? I've had at least one TV-out enabled phone that allowed camera display.

Thanks.
I'm actually on the stock ROM. I'd rather not change the ROM if I don't have to, I'd rather just find a workaround, but maybe I'll try it if there's no other way.

Hello guys!
The Screen On application was a success and we thought it could be a great idea to expand the abilities of this application. We developed a new application called App Auto Settings, that works exactly as the Screen On application but let's you take control not only of the screen, but of WiFi, Bluetooth, Mobile Data, GPS and volume!
We have tested the app in as many devices as we could and it works fine, but please try it and report any bugs, suggestions or ideas, we cannot test it in all those mobile phones...

Thx for share.
Not seeing option for GPS on SGSII.

So is this a beta limitation? or a limitation of GB where programs can not call for GPS on without user request like Tasker?
well, that's my bad...
at first, we wanted to take control of the GPS, but unfortunately for security reasons (good in my opinion), Google decided that only the user will be able to enable and disable the GPS, so we removed it from the application.
The screenshot though is old, and I will replace it!
Thank you for noticing it!
OK, I'm confused. No offense, but it is not very intuitive. I just downloaded it, and I cannot tell the difference between Red and Green on the Screen Timeout in the On Charge profile, and either way I set it, the screen timed out! Also, on WiFi and such, what's the difference between Red, Green and the white box? I also don't see my Navigation app.

You can get SMS replacement apps that will create the LCD Screen on feature.
Handscent is a great one. It's free on the play store.
I'm also pretty sure you can get SMS apps that don't replace the stock SMS app if you are happy with it and JUST create a pop up message that turns the screen on.
All this stuff works on stock unrooted phones.

What version of Android / Rom and version of Chrome (Regular or Beta) are you using?
That happens when you rotate a full screen video in the latest version of Chrome. My workaround is to rotate my device before going into full screen, then everything works fine.

Anything like Xiaomi's Video Toolbox?

I used a Xiaomi phone for quite a while and got used to a feature that's part of the Mi security app called Video Toolbox which lets you to turn of the screen while using a certain app and many more. I used it for YouTube while commuting to listen to podcasts while my screen would be turned off. Now I'm on a Pixel 2 XL, and I miss my old feature. Is there any app that'd meet my need?
Are you sure that it is a feature of MIUI system?
It seems that it should be a function of some stream video or podcast apps.

Yes it's a MIUI feature and by default it's enabled just for Mi video app and you can add it to any app you want. It's found in settings>special features>Video Toolbox

Idk, when I used it mine was running MIUI 12. So guess they have removed it afterwards. I believe you have newer version of MIUI.
