i need help and can`t post directly in the right threat
on my HD2 I installed the ROM Sensation xl V2.5 and I`very happy with this ROM!!! Now I try to connect my Motorola Xoom WiFi with my HD2 via tethering. I read in the changelog hat the TDB team removed the stock WiFi hotspot apk and build in the barnackle apk. But this doesn`t work
The Xoom is <get IP> and then back to scan for WLAN and back to <get IP> ...
I ckecked the connection with the HTC Desire of my wife (stock) and it works asap. I tested a couple of tethering apk which are available on the market ... nothing... with a fixed IP the devices connect but there is no access to the 3G network of the HD2. Maybe the USB-USB will work but I`ve no cable in the moment.
Any idea???
Also, in the ROM is a ...command... is integrated ... it`s not working and I can`t remove it...

I have flashed my htc hero GSM with new Hitachi's sense zero rom. Thanks to Hitachi's team that work fine for me but having on issue regarding wifi
By enabling wi-fi its shows error to me. Any solution.

Okay , so i have a HTC Sensation 4G on Android 4.0.3 , Ever since updated to that version , My phone isnt able to have wifi . I've search many ways to fix it and done so many things and i haven't able to find a solution the past 3 days. So now i decided to post a new thread , sadly .

Installed Custom Rom by mike1986 "Andriod Revolution HD 1.2.2 T-Mobile"
I rooted the phone , successfully have superuser to grant access to anything . Phone is "S-OFF" by Junpobear & CWM
I have everything i believe is needed to hack my phone .
My question is , how can i downgrade the version 4.0.3 since it disabled my abilities to use wifi ? Like to an earlier version ? Or How can i enable the wifi itself ? Is there anything i can do to fix or solve this problem ? Thanks
I've been having a similar problem, whenever I try to turn on WiFi it just doesn't turn on, since then I have unlocked, rooted, and flashed revolution hd Rom and it still doesn't work. Also my mobile hotspot won't turn on either though we can leave that to another thread.

I just flashed Android Revolution HD 7.3 from 7.2 on my HTC Sensation.
Since then, my signal is on and off. More often during the night.
I already checked that I use the latest radio recommended by mike.
Is there anyone have the same issues?

here is a problem I encountered when I had the [ROM][STABLE][Android 4.4.4] CyanogenMod 11 with 3.0.16 kernel [July 18, 2014] installed. My wi-fi interception signal is so weak now that I cant even connect to the same places I used to while I had the previous version. Why is that? I tried to install only the Kernel update, only the ROM and other tests. Same results.
I have already tried to find something in the forums but I cant find something other than another guys who has the same problem but still there was no answer. So, any advice?
I have a nearly similar problem.
I am on the slightly older version [ROM][STABLE][Android 4.4.4] CyanogenMod 11 with 3.0.16 kernel [July 1, 2014]. For a few days after installing the ROM the wifi reception was rather poor. When I used wifi for surfing the internet the phone would get very hot. Eventually the phone was unable to see any connections at all. Wifi is turned on but no connections are available. I fear the phone has been physically damaged due to high temperature.
The phone runs nice and cold now except for the missing connections.
My phone is a Sensation XE, S-OFF.
Exactly the same thing has happened to my daughters Sensation.
I have tried a factory reset and reinstallation but the wifi failure is still there.

Almost the same to me too. However I tried again another Rom (the previous version of the same rom) and everything works fine. I forgot to mention that I tried only the kernel update to sure that this is not the problem. It appears that the problem is the last version of the Rom.
I had Very weak wi-fi as well, with July 25th version of the ROM[ROM][STABLE][Android 4.4.4] CyanogenMod 11 with 3.0.16 kernel [July 25, 2014]. Got better after flashing the Aroma Kernel installer from the OP of that ROM thread.

I also tried the same ROM in the 25th Version. Still the same problem even if I tried the Aroma Kernel update too... I guess I ll stay in Junes update which sometimes tends to crash... Eitherway the ROM is great.
Now that you mention it, i think i have noticed a slight reducing in WIFI signal since the last update. Im sure Sultan will look into this when he gets a spare moment.

I am back on sultans android 4.3 and wifi works again.
I have been enjoying a few of Sultan´s KitKat ROMS with no problems but now I cannot get wifi to work with any KitKat it seems.
My phone is Sensation XE, JuopunutBear S-OFF, 4ext 1.0.0.6 RC3.

Wifi works with [UnORom][4.4.4] CarbonRom for Sensation [29 July][Final] on my Sensation XE.
I have been very happy with Sultan's ROMs but sadly wifi is not working on my phone with his latest KitKats. Well, wifi does not report any problems, it just does not find any connections.

Actually it was my bad... I had a bad download.... my re-flash of the ROM had this installation completed .
