Okay , so i have a HTC Sensation 4G on Android 4.0.3 , Ever since updated to that version , My phone isnt able to have wifi . I've search many ways to fix it and done so many things and i haven't able to find a solution the past 3 days. So now i decided to post a new thread , sadly .

HTC Sense 3.6
Installed Custom Rom by mike1986 "Andriod Revolution HD 1.2.2 T-Mobile"
I rooted the phone , successfully have superuser to grant access to anything . Phone is "S-OFF" by Junpobear & CWM
I have everything i believe is needed to hack my phone .
My question is , how can i downgrade the version 4.0.3 since it disabled my abilities to use wifi ? Like to an earlier version ? Or How can i enable the wifi itself ? Is there anything i can do to fix or solve this problem ? Thanks
I've been having a similar problem, whenever I try to turn on WiFi it just doesn't turn on, since then I have unlocked, rooted, and flashed revolution hd Rom and it still doesn't work. Also my mobile hotspot won't turn on either though we can leave that to another thread.

I am coming from a g2x and thinking about getting this phone. Is the touchscreen problem as widespread as it seems on the web? Did the OTA do anything to fix the touchscreen?
I read the OTA helped sense to stop lagging. That is very nice.
I don't know about the update but since i've installed insert coin's custom rom ( android 2.3.4 ) my screen works flawlessly. I was ready to return the phone cause of the touchscreen issues. They were unbearable . I couldn't use the phone. Then s-off came ( thanks Alpharev and Teamwin !!! ) and i installed several 2.3.3 roms but the issues were still there. The first 2.3.4 rom i've used was ic and my screen works great now. So my humble opinion is that those issues were software related! Sorry for my english ! Cheers

I have a Sensation XE and have Android Revolution 3.6.9 installed. The problem I have is that whenever I lock the phone with the stock camera app still open, my phone freezes up completely. The only way I can then use the phone is to pull the battery. Has anyone else seen this problem, or am I just very unlucky here?
I ran the superwipe script from the ROM thread, then installed 3.6.8. I had the problem there, and I still have the same problem now I have flashed 3.6.9 over the top.

I believe this is a fairly well known issue, depending on the kernel you are using.
On the Sense roms I have used, using the Bricked kernel has fixed it for me.
After reading many post in all forum about ROM installation i am here to ask some question. few days before I bought second hand sensation mobile. which i did not noticed it has installed Leedroid_sensational ROMv4.3.0 In saudi arbia... In this rom my battery is getting very hot (46degree).and wifi and mobile data is not working properly (its getting automaticaly ON OFF)...
BUT now what should i do.?
Shall i need to update to leedroid latest version OR install Android Revolution HD
So plz any one help me..

You could Backup the ROM and then update to LeeDroid. If the problems still aren't sorted then wipe and try ARHD.
If the battery still gets very warm it might be indicative of a bad battery or an app keeping your phone awake.

I am having a nightmare with my HTC M8.
When I first got it , I installed Revolution HD 9.1 for Kitkat.
Problem now (especially as I want to move to Lollipop ROMS), is whatever ROM I install, the WIFI is greyed out and wont turn on.
I thought this was down to S-ON, so I moved back to a Kitkat Stock ROM and ran Sunshine.apk and now have S-OFF.
The problem is still there though. I can restore my Revolution HD 9.1 ROM and all is fine.
I tried upgrading to the latest Revolution ROM (v30) which is Lollipop without wiping settings, which worked but still No WIFI!
Can anyone please help!

If you read the first post in most of the rom threads, as of the 4.4.4 roms and forward, your firmware needs to be up to date... On version 3.xx.xxx.
If not, WiFi will not work. ?
So, luckily with s-off on your device, updating is easy. This thread will help you... Post one has the details... Read it carefully.

Hi guys, I've a problem with my HTC One S.
Until few days ago I had the rom MIUI with Android ICS installed on my phone.
I've decided some days ago to change this rom because a lot of applications that I wished to install were not supported by ICS.
So, after a lot of problems (S-Off, Hboot too old for any rom, etc) I've finally changed the rom.
Now, the problem is that, foreach rom with an Android version higher than ICS (I tried with KitKat and Lollipop), the WiFi doesn't turn on and when I look at the setting page, the MAC-Address appear to be Undefined.
I've tried to install again some rom with ICS (MIUI and Cynogen), and everything worked well.
Can someone help me please?
P.S I'm not native English and I'm studying it, so, if I made mistakes about grammar or other, don't worry to tell me about that
