Radio that RCmix3d Runny rom uses. - HTC Inspire 4G

I had such fantastic signal when I was using that rom. Can anyone tell me the radio and RIL that rom uses. I still have the zip file, is there any way to tell from the zip, without flashing the rom?

You don't have to change radio to use roms. they function independent from the rom, and rils are linked to the radio itself which can be found in the radio thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1106324 . The makers of that rom do not specify a radio, i found this info out by searching RCmix3d and it was the third link i clicked. Please next time before opening a thread, search existing threads within XDA. RCmix3d also has a website containing their work, i will not link it but you can find it in google.

Sorry, I had searched for the thread in the past, but couldnt find it because they had stopped development on the rom. Thanks for your help.

Radio ROM Request 1.27.14.32

Guys,
I can't seem to find this radio rom anywhere, does anyone have a known working copy of this radio version?
I thought that I had read somewhere on this forum that it is not possible to reconstruct a radio from a rom dump, but then I found someone referencing this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=359015
If that guide is applicable then maybe I'll have a go at dumping it myself.

Need Bloatware remover & list for Att Htc Warhawk

Hello, was wondering if anyone here has a list of the bloatware and files to remove from the htc pure, and how to customize the start screen and get rid of unused programs?
This has been answered before, but for the start menu, use the file explorer (I think ATT put it in tools) then go to my device > windows > start menu > programs. From there you can add or delete items from the start menu
i understand that it has been answered before, i have been searching all the forums and still have not found an actual solution! Pointin me in the right direction with a link would be appreciated.
just flash a new rom

Flashing a ROM is a little more indepth than just finding it.
Read the flashing guide from the Wiki.
Start here.
HSPL must be first!
ice thanks, but i have been there and nothing states HTC Warhawk (Pure), everything says TD 2 or Topaz. Been searching for 2 days, I need a specific pure rom! I have flashed new roms before on the Samsung Blackjack II. just need specific instructions and rom files to do it!

They're all the same. Topaz = Pure = Warhawk = TD2
If you're looking for a stock ROM upgrade, you have to do it from HTCs site with your S/N.
If you want to flash a custom ROM, once you're HSPL'd you can flash any ROM in the Topaz forum.
cool m8, thanks! Now does it update the radio, or do i need to flash the radio to the newest version

Cooked ROMs may contain a radio but usually not. It would be denoted in the title of the ROM, i.e., WM6_5_23541_4.49.25.91_TOPAZ
There is also a radio thread where the radio ROMs have been posted separately in the Wiki.
I have tried a few Topaz radios but have not noticed the difference I've noticed with flashing radios on other devices.
ps, there have been issues with HSPL so if you aren't able to flash per the instructions in that thread, you will need to download the autoinstaller and "make a donation" for it to work. They have been fairly slow to respond to requests as well.
Bruce any recommendations on a rom, i hear Dutty is good but does he do Pure or Topaz? And how do i choose the best one out of the list givin?

ROM, Kernel, Radio - BUT HOW?

OK, I finally got BakedSnack running on my device, and I love it. I know how to update it and everything so I'm good on that, what I can't find anywhere is an explenation on how to install a different Kernel or how to install "the latest Wimax and Radio"
What does that mean?? Why would I want to install a different Kernel? doesn't the ROM come with the Kernel? what's the difference between the two? And how do I update the radio or wimax? and what does that mean??
This FAQ should be a sticky!

Instructions for both of your qs are found within the op of the majority of roms on xda

First let me tell you that your FAQ is really a question, and belongs in the Q&A section.
Second, this question is already answered. If you check the stickies here in the dev section there are guides to this.
Try digging through these two.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=HTC_Supersonic&useskin=vector
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=701245
The second one at least definitely has instructions on how to update your radio. Though I'm not sure the radio image in that thread is current. So you could use the first link to find a current radio image, and the second to flash it.
Good luck
Everything that you want are flashable, just like the way you flashed your Rom. Download and flash, unless their are additional instructions, like wiping. Most roms come with custom kernels, but if you want another one then find and flash.
I Think this should be in the q&a section..
Sent from my Money Printing Machine.
Good answer Brown. Really and truly this info should be in the Wiki ( I did not find information about radios in the wiki in a quick scan-maybe I missed it). There are lots of stickies and posts and sure the information is out there but it is very fragmented and peppered with alot of 'noise' from the various threads. Thanks for helping out the OP.
Read, read oh and most important READ.

Lastest Radio for HTC Sensation

I'm using MIUI 1.11.18 and Bricked 1.6 beta1. Just wanting some help to find the various radios for this ROM and phone. I can't seem to find any threads on it.

Have you tried looking on your ROM's thread, often it is in the first post or two..
The radio you use should be customized for your specific location as people from all over the world use each ROM. Usually the ROM doesn't include a radio unless it specifically says that it does. Some ROMs will even recommend what radio to use in the first post, or what radio the developer tested the ROM on. At the end of the day you should try and see what radio and RIL work best for you. Look in the stickies for the development section to find the threads for future reference. Here they are so you can get started:
Radio Thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1178143
RIL Thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1202867
I am in Las Vegas on T-Mobile and I use the radio from the 1.45 RUU and the corresponding 2.2.0169 RIL. I've tried newer/different ones that weren't specifically for TMOUS, and I ended up coming back to the stock radio and RIL because of great reception and good battery usage. I'm just one guy though. Try a few and see what works best for you and your area.
Hope this helps
and most importantly if your current radio works, don't change it
changing radio CAN cause a brick
"If it's not Broken, Don't fix It"
Thanks for all this info guys. Certainly don't want to brick the phone. Getting reasonable signal on Vodafone UK just wanted to see if it can be improved.

[Q] Updated to Eternity ROM and now NO SERVICE

Hello All,
I had my TB flashed to my boost account. I then updated the ROM to the Eternity ROM. After that update I lost service and I cannot find the Stock Rom that was there before the update to Eternity. I know....BACKUP...Which I did not...
So does anyone have any idea what could have happened after the ROM update?
Does matter what ROM I use now it's still NO SERVICE...
Thanks is advance for the assistance....

Sounds like a radio problem, did you use the recommended radio for the ROM? If not, do some searching and find out which one you need.

My thoughts exactly. If you want to update your RADIO, visit my website as I have them all listed there.

radios that work on eternity
I've used Eternity ROM quite a bit and am currently on release 248. I've found that the 605.5, 605.9, MR4, and new 605.19 radios work well on 248. the admins on infected rom seem to like MR4 for their setups, but i'm partial to the 605.5 and new 605.19 combos myself. hope that's helpful.
I agree check your radio, ive never had to change the radio except when i was 1st rooting otherewise i havent had any issue with any of that. Might just have to keep trying till you find the right one.
