R4INS aokp builds - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

Building aokp from source for my own personal needs, figured i would share.
Milestone 6: http://d-h.st/0BP
Will be on aokp.co soon as well.
Link below is down.
http://r4ins.com/aokp/
Torrent, and direct download. I recommend the torrent for screaming speeds. The direct download is slowish to begin with and can get swamped.

Downloading via rocket now. I will load and get back with you!! Any known bugs?

It was fresh synced from the AOKP repo about 2 hours ago. So its bleeding edge as far as AOKP skyrocket is concerned. Bugs will come and go.

I will add new builds periodically, nightly builds are probably a bit overboard as not much changes from day to day.

Awesome dog.
It has the charge while off fix, the hot reboot fix is in there but havent been on it long enough to confirm. And whatever framework changes AOKP made or changes the CM team made.
You really have to keep an eye on the CM github and AOKP github to get specific changes.

Looking very nice nanners

I am one of the biggest complainers about battery life you will ever hear of.
I'm at %64 since 6:20am with 3hrs 2 mins screen time and 41 minutes of phone calls. I'd say that's pretty damn good IMO.
Best battery I've experienced on AOKP to date and it's only been 5.5 hrs. After a few days of settling in it should be even better.

Normal aosp, cm9, aokp. I have a case with a battery in it so I'm doubled up. But I've gone 10hrs on a charge, or I've burned it up in 5. All depends on usage. (Those are without using the case battery)

I like the notification lights but is there a way to make them blink every 10 seconds or so instead of being on solid until checked? They are very bright and I'd prefer a slow blink. I didn't see anything in the settings.

Do you have an Extended Battery? I don't see how it's possible to have 3 hours of screen time and still be at 64%, even if you're using WIFI and the lowest brightness.

Nah, it won't be in the development section as its just compiles of AOKP from their repo, I haven't modified it in any way.

As of now, only with the BLN control app from the market. I think you need the paid version for blinking. Also, blinking consumes more battery according to the developer of the app.

YOU would know best whats stable enough and lag free enough for YOU. im just quite the opposite. 3 weeks or so ago, i flashed the stock/rooted version of 4.0.3 ics. it was stable, fast, everything worked. i thought i was happy with it and stopped my daily flashing. last night i went back to crackflashing, cm9 kangs. the stock rom was apparently too stable for me. and it wasnt just because of withdrawal from crackflashing. i went back to daily crackflashing because it has become a lifestyle

the kangs/cm9 are getting better and better every day, almost. i left cm9 because the launcher was starting to bug me, it reloaded way too often. cm9 might have had a memory issue then. but, 2 days and 2 kangs later, not a single issue here. everything works just as it should. and its extremely quick and responsive, even with the trinity teuv undervolted/underclocked(880mhz) kernel that im using(but its gpu is overclocked).
So you would say that the kangs is better? If so, I'm gonna keep this cm9 and then flash in maybe two days.

I wouldn't say you should COMPLETELY trust the CM9 ROM over all. If I were you I'd run some more tests on which you like the most at the moment and stick to it, until CM9 is finally complete. I'm using an AOSP+ Neapolitan flavor build, it is incredibly smooth I recommend that. I know as soon as CM9 is finished I'm hopping onto that ROM in a heart beat though

I used to flash/update a minimum of 3x every weekend, but that changed the instant I booted up my most recent ROM. It's been rock solid, and I've been able to do things that other ROMs won't (sometimes despite the options being there).

Liked Liquid when I ran it, but no. Slim Bean is where I'm staying for now (with a couple of my own personal tweaks). Really like it. So far I've only found 1 thing that I consider a bug, and it's really not even that bad (one of the battery mods seems to lack charging animations).

I fell in love with the tablet UI and I kept switching between phablet and tablet lol but I used p.a.c man for a week and I didn't like the how much ram was gone because I undervolt my phone to save battery. But I've been having problems with receiving texts and calls randomly since I changed from the ICS leak months ago..but CM10 final is feeling good. I used slimbean for a minute and it was good. I liked it was...slim. and my battery was excellent.

I still have yet to try anything wild
slimbean. by far.
I dont think ill try anther AOSP rom for this phone, says the flashaholic
I have rootbox right now, I've read all the AOSP threads and noticed some common issues -
1. phone freeze requiring battery pull, esp during call - I've seen this
2. gps problems
3. 3.4 kernel is slow and unstable
e.g. carbon rom went from using 3.4 to 3.0, now I think its back to 3.4. I like pie controls and AOKP/SlimBean doesn't have them so I haven't tried those.
Not to be a troll, but someone will call me one..

That, my friend, I do not know. Lol.
But I've noticed when powered off and charging, the battery icon graphic on the screen is all jacked up with the included kernel in Liquidsmooth. This BMS kernel has resolved that issue. Maybe its related to that somehow? I have no idea. Lol.

It's a little weird to explain until you actively test it. In your rom, there should be a Settings/Advanced Options/Phone (or Advanced Settings). Go there and you can adjust the display temperature to be warmer (more reddish) or cooler (more bluish). Make sure to turn the display off each time you change the display temperature for it to take effect.

You might be confusing the terminology. Stock max cpu speed is 1512 mhz but the voltage would be about 1200mv at that clock. 1566 would be in reference to the clock speed.
