Thanks anyway

Can it be flashed on Kyrillos 10.5? Wipe data/factory reset is necessary?

After flashing update, my phone is very very slow...

just restart 2 to 3 times

sound playback stutters using flac files. Was a known problem earlier, maybe talk to marcellusbe about that. IIRC it had to do the the kernel Hz setting and some other stuff I don't remember.

Also now, as a gentle reminder, would be the time to release the sources (github seems to be the way you do it at the moment) otherwise you're violating the GPL and I guess the Mods don't like to see this kind of behaviour on XDA. Thanks!

my sg3 is not starting after i flashed this rom...i was previously on kyrillos 9.6 rom and G3MOD kernel...what should i do now?
UPDATE:i flashed cm7 kernel 1.5 by odin and then reflashed the rom..and now my sg3 is working again!!! :-D

I promised myself to flash cyanogenmod 7 when it'd hit beta. And here it is! maybe not by marcellusbe but still from another great developer! I'll flash it in a few weeks when I have time to reinstall all my apps

You need a GB capable kernel. Kyrillos' 9.6 is a FROYO rom and chances are you have the same kernel I am running which is for FROYO.

Can some people report about GPS and orientation sensor please? I tested so many roms where the Dev's saying it is fixed and it wad still bad. I tested this ROM also 2 times and these 2 things are not working good. I got now a fix in 15 sec with froyo.

I don't know why developers put so much time and effort in when they just get a blanket of abuse. From some well known names as well... shameful.
Well done to the developer and thank you for your effort,

Original thread with development progress, bugs and screenshots of the rom read here.
Kernel information see here.
Galaxy Fit relevant stuff:
soft keys are working
screen doesn't flicker
touchscreen is working
forgot to change the mod name, doesn't make any difference so I'll change it next time
Installation (CWM required):
Backup your system
Format data, cache and system
Flash the rom
Reboot
Download Beta 2
ohkk so i hope buttons are working.
tell u more after downloading.
and i think if we already had a post on this port u could have posted fix there only and we would not have to download the full rom again
Hmm.. so is it almost fully working? just the wifi tether, usb tether, and camera, plus radio is not working well right? and the touch screen is not flickering anymore.
anyone else have tried this? what kernel is it stable btw? I think.. its almost out of beta 2.. I have a feeling that this will be stable soon.
i hope it work

Please, guys.
I don't want this thread to be full of useless posts like the other CM9-thread.
If you want to write a feedback first download the rom and test it and then answer here instead of for example talking about things you hope for.
Would be very useful
thanks a ton dude....
finallyyy a working cm9...
the keys works,no flickering, touch screen works.
but one thing is that it is a bit laggy..
thanks once again......

k so i have just used this rom for a while and found out that dsp manager crashes, still shows galaxy mini in about phone.
also first i thought i thought wifi isnt working as it was not showing any networks but when i went to add my device and put my network name and other settings it started to work.
will report more bug sooner.
Sometimes com.android.phone stop and phone reboot.
Thanks for the bug reports but please also check the original thread if those are known bugs on Galaxy Mini since this is a ported rom.
AWESOME !!!!
thanks bro....will test it soon
u made kernals urself or used posted by squadzone ?
I used squadzone's kernel.
I don't have the source code for squadzone's kernel. Gladly he already made a kernel where he fixed the BoardConfig, but he forgot to modify the init.rc.
Unfortunately I am not able to use this port in daily use (kind of ironic) due to problems with my sim card, but this is a problem related to RIL and has already been reported

I don't see anything relevant in that video. What do you mean?
Just for imformation how did you do that just a ahort imformation will do
I extracted the image, switched the kernel to one that had a BoardConfig.mk with a fixed touchscreen configuration and edited the init.rc to fix the flickering of the screen.
got 1088 quadrant score which is gud.

[ROM] [UNOFFICIAL] AOKP-JB Built from source **Beta

Ladies and gentlemen of the EVO 4g, after a marathon day of working on this yesterday, and with the help of qnhoang81, _jmz_, and many thanks to the above individuals named below, I give you AOKP JB from source!
Please bear in mind, these won't be quite the literal definition of nightly, but I'll update as often as I'm able.
Download Links
AOKP JB latest nightly
GApps as of 10/15/12
I've not had time to extensively test every feature, but I think you'll find it (hopefully) as functional as CM10 has been from _jmz_.
Works:
Code:
Calling
Texting
Data
Camera (Buggy at times, but stepping megapixels down from 8 to 6 will make it less so)
ROMControl (DPI does not, see instructions to do so below)
Wifi
Bluetooth
Quick Reply, thanks to Evervolv once again for updated kernel
Fix for DPI Changing (to make tablet mode more workable)
Download file explorer of choice
Mount system as rw (read-write)
Find this line with a text editor in the build.prop: ro.sf.lcd_density = 240
Change 240 to 160
Save
Remount as read only
Reboot
Viola!
This is temporary, I will be looking into a fix for this.
Known issues, in order of importance
Code:
Facebook does not work, looking into that right now.
Camcorder
Panorama
4g
FFC
I beg you, please report any bugs below.
And don't just tell me something's broke, give me a log too. If you don't know how to make a log, Google is your best friend.
Code:
#include std_disclaimer.h
/*
* Your warranty is now void.

* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,

* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
Installation:
Wipe Data, Cache, and system (this will be the first question if you have FC's or random reboots).
Flash the ROM.
Flash GApps.
Reboot into the system.
Stable, or last known working
Code:
10/14/12 - Original upload
Major Milestones, or semi-stable builds, will be listed here.
Source is uploaded, follow directions in platform_manifest in my git. Implies you have a basic knowledge on how to work with Android trees already.
https://github.com/couga6442
Official Thanks List, now with links:
_jmz_: giving me a base device folder to start with.
qnhoang81: giving me inspiration to carry this out
Evervolv: their amazing work on keeping the supersonic updated with each new Android version release, and the kernel that powers this rom, available at their github.
The folks at #teamkang on FreeNode IRC network for being such an entertaining crowd
preludedrew more specifically from Evervolv, for putting up with listening to me complain, and helping me even though it wasn't his code
AOKP for all the features they've added, and the reason I ported this rom
last but not least, rukin5197, for showing me AOKP could be built after it was dropped.
Reserved, and may need a mod to move to Original Dev. It's been a while since I was on XDA last.

Quick noob question. When I flash 4.1.2 gapps, wouldn't they override the features of 4.2 apps?

Is there any reason why I'd want to do a full wipe when switching between them? (Other than the normal reasons why I'd want to like glitches due to bad installs or something)
I didn't realize that you were putting the pdroid mod into this. That is the single biggest reason I'm switching tonight. That is pretty exciting stuff! That the CM caved to pressure from google to leave similar features out of the basic framework was weak on their part. Thank you for putting it back in!

11/16 preview build I'm getting a slight bug where when I turn my WiFi off it takes a while for data to pick up. Nothing major like the data bug but it takes as much as 3 mins to start working. When it does come on I get amazing signal though. I'll try to replicate it while I have alogcat running and see what I get but in the meanwhile maybe someone else can verify.
Edit:just noticed 11/19 up so no sense in reporting that bug until I flash the latest and check it out.

Credist also to Taurthil because me and Taurthil were working on ShenduOS together.
Hi bro, sorry i've come too late. Just installed this rom. There is some miss in this rom, im sorry to say that. The screenshoot will be added soon. And i cant even shutdown or reboot my miro, because after i choose the shutdown option, the sendu bootanimation comes up and then it takes me back to my lockscreen. And sometimes i get the message "Unfortunately, the SenduHomeScreen (or something like that) is stopped working". Oh i got a question. Ive backed up in CWM before installing this rom, and after that i tried to restore the backup but it say that the MD5 is mismatched. What should i do?
-------EDITED------
The screenshoots is on the attachments

Yes bro I'm aware of the bugs... sorry i haven't got time to prepare bug list.. though i can give you fresh shenduhome.apk...
MD5 mismatch means your backup is broken... if you'll restore this backup anyhow than your restore won't be clean this may cause alot of errors..
also next time make sure you have enough space left in the phone to have complete backup...

I would really like to try this rom, but unfortunately the keypad to enter the Pin does not fit. It is positioned too low, so Its impossible to access the ok button. Therefore I am always stuck at entering the Pin.
Is there any fix for that?
This is a problem of all MIUI-Roms, I have tried so far.

I'm not a good person to post bugs... my SGSIII is all sorts of messed up. It reboots like 10 times a day most days and sometimes (like right now) goes through fits where it reboots almost constantly for 10-20 minutes at a time. That's not specific to your ROM though. Seems like it does it on any AOSP based rom.. or maybe its just the CM kernel. I dunno. The TW ones are fine though, which is weird.
Anyway, here is the screenshot...
Hi! My first time using a lollipop rom. it seems rather fresh and everything
I ran this on my unlocked d2vzw on att carrier but it's not receiving any reception

Holy wow just wow.. Liquid lollipop is awesome... Except for the camera [emoji20]
This is the second lollipop ROM I'm testing for the day.. And am loving it better than the 1st[emoji16] ...
Kudos to team liquid and you OP for sharing, and hoping camera gets fixed in next succeeding updates
Working great so far.. Only issue I've found is that Apollo force closes when opened and won't work. Other than that, Liquid LP is awesome

So is there no way to get the regular material theme? I didn't see a way to switch off from the dark.
Probably a dumb question, but do any of the other kernels work with 5.0 or just the built-in one right now?

Cool. I'll give it a try if I have any issues with the default.
Dang...Open camera keeps force closing. Everything else seems great though. Keep up the good work!

Question, I have the 32 gb version and I did a complete wipe as recommended. My internal storage now shows that it only has 3.95 gb available. Am I missing something? Probably...
Found a bug I think... At the top of the recent apps screen it says "Couldn't add widget." See attached.
ROM is running great so far. Thanks again.
