Hmm.. so is it almost fully working? just the wifi tether, usb tether, and camera, plus radio is not working well right? and the touch screen is not flickering anymore.
anyone else have tried this? what kernel is it stable btw? I think.. its almost out of beta 2.. I have a feeling that this will be stable soon.

k so i have just used this rom for a while and found out that dsp manager crashes,still shows galaxy mini in about phone.
also first i thought i thought wifi isnt working as it was not showing any networks but when i went to add my device and put my network name and other settings it started to work.
will report more bug sooner.
Sometimes com.android.phone stop and phone reboot.
Thanks for the bug reports but please also check the original thread if those are known bugs on Galaxy Mini since this is a ported rom.

I don't have the source code for squadzone's kernel. Gladly he already made a kernel where he fixed the BoardConfig, but he forgot to modify the init.rc.
Unfortunately I am not able to use this port in daily use (kind of ironic) due to problems with my sim card, but this is a problem related to RIL and has already been reported

I extracted the image, switched the kernel to one that had a BoardConfig.mk with a fixed touchscreen configuration and edited the init.rc to fix the flickering of the screen.
got 1088 quadrant score which is gud.

Hello everyone, it's me again! I have successfully ported "Shendo OS" to Galaxy 3, so I hope you all will like it! This is based on CM7 Alpha 8.2, so big thanks to marcellusbe for porting CM7. If you liked it, please consider donating. A "Thanks" would be nice also!
Note: I'm not responsible if you bricked your phone! This ROM is still unstable, there are still bugs to be fixed! As you can see, there are still some images to be fixed in the staus bar, settings, and etc. This may take some time, so please don't ask for ETAs! I also need some testers, so feel free to post the result!

Just flashed your rom and found 2 bugs. The status bar force closes when touch it. Also when you tap on the brightness in the settings menu, it force closes too.

People, got it ... there is problem with hw/*liberty.so, you need to delete it from hw folder... I'm going on weekend and not have time to play with rom... see you after 7 days! This is a not complete rom, but I want to share it... maybe some one find a way for possible fixes. Screenshoots is on first post... will upload beta 1 now... enjoy beta 1 and happy testing

Please read seccond post. You need to delete all files with name "liberty" in /system/lib/hw/ before install rom... there something mising in hardware libs, I will fix it when come from weekend
For me,
It boots quickly, and everything inside is buttery smooth. wifi and mobile networks isn't working for me. there is screen tearing when scrolling through menus. By no means a daily. But, really fun to see booting already. Keep up the great work!

I think the screen tearing issue is cause by vsync not working properly.
if vsync is not working properly the framerate will goes over 60fps and causes screen tearing.

Flash CM7 Alpha 8, then flash Lezo OS update.zip. I'm 100% sure it'll work! I even took a screenshot of the Dialer! Also, don't install any mods yet.
Miui wasnt ported coreclty a lot of bugs with grafic, for exmple dialer grafic and tinny icons in launcher

I have the phone crash too, might have something to do with the ics theme i had in cyanogenmod? Because the notifications have problems too? gonna try factory reset now...
EDIT: for those who have phone.apk crashes, factory reset and wiping cache solved it for me
2nd EDIT: the calling does work BUT: when pressing a key on dialer it crashes, don't know why but can you please try to fix this!!! I gues it's because the dialer try to predict who you want to call, because pressing * and # does work...
Also the picturs in the contacts tab are placed wrong
Another bug, the "clear" button in the notifications does not work :/
Sorry for long list but the search bar in the launcher also over sized
And if to fix the dialer problem i just installed exDialer, fits the theme and does the job
This rom is AWESOME but when you get an incoming call the acore proces crashes, calling works (with exdialer) but recieving calls doesn't... Please fix this because it's awesome!!! tried installing phone.apk from shendu os but that didn't work (or i didn't install it correctly), can somebody give me a method to fix this? i'm fine with another phone app ...

Yes.
Maybe not completely what upload on MF. ROM has 132 MB not 136 MB. Signal is very small and Task Manager not working.
rom is too slow, camera not working ,gallery isn't working well, drawer needs to be resized

hey this doesn't works.
after installation it loads but very late. takes around 15-20 mins after the boot animation. i did wiped out cache and other caches too.
the bugs which i reported though this is not a complain just to inform ravi bro about the bugs so he can focus more in fixing it out whenever he has time, appreciated all his hard efforts. great guy
1. the rom is very slow.
2. no sound at all. call volume extremely slow not able to hear at all. on speaker there's no voice.
3. no network reception. only 1-2 bars.
4. it doesn't searches network properly. like i have vodafone so it shows hutch then some numbers such as 400285,etc. this way. doesn't shows proper network
5. battery drain it dropped from 100 to 57 in a flash just like CM10 Jelly bean 4.1.1 and AOKP has the same issues so i guess u need to fix it out.
6. it shows lots of chinese content when u navigate to themes,settings,etc. don't know where that comes from.
these are the bugs i have found unfortunately i had to switch back to another custom rom to creed till u fix this bugs.
creed is great and super awesome but has a major battery drain issue. would love to use MIUI JB 4.1 this rom soon once it get's fixed.
Instead of telling that this doesn't work or that doesn't work we should help him develop the ROM..
Hey what i can see is the major bug is Audio except that all are working absolutely fine..
And that the issue with the two bars isn't causing any problem
and some numbers displayed instead of Vodafone that isn't true
because i too have vodafone but it is displaying vodafone to me..........
And it is slow because of the lockscreen i suppose because as soon as i changed it
it is working perfectly fine without any lag on 729Mhz.

i'm not complaining i'm instead helping him out by telling him the bugs so he can focus on it. i'm trying all my best as a true person to help the developer in my best possible limits. i don't know android coding but all i can do is trouble shoot and do some modifications porting rom and fixing few things. i can do that. so if any help do lemme know. thanks.

About memory scripts, with 2.6 kernel they should all work (I'm not 100% sure but somewhere around 95%), personally I prefer mounts2sd
this is my version of flashing the best rom ever
twrp recovery and select multiple zip for flashing. sd card partitioned with 1G ext2/3/4.
1- cm10beta6 by sakindia with this script included
2- super stripped gapps for jb
3- this kernel
4- this usb fix
after all zips were flashed:
- reboot
- config google account
- install TB
- restore all saved apps
- reboot
Now the only bug I found is headphones not working in call, only music.
working:
- wifi toggle
- wifi hotspot
- camera
- cpuspy
- hw video decoding
- youtube hq movies
- no robotic voice in call (2 days and almost 2 hours of calls)

Well it shouldn't(if you don't over clock it) but I'm a pu$$y and can't experiment, if there was a 100% working procedure that fixes the nand, yes I'll try, but there still is not, so......... will try maybe later.
On the other hand, I was around a month with miui, it has kernel3(not oc) in it and everything is fine now. Now I'm with bhargz16's aokp, which also is with kernel 3, will see what happens.
Well if oc was that dangerous why he even added it to the rom anyway devas should start find a good fix or else there will be burnt picks everywhere ROM is smooth I simply added int2ext file in place and set permission reboot done so easy yay hoping I don't get burn

Well it shouldn't(if you don't over clock it) but I'm a pu$$y and can't experiment, if there was a 100% working procedure that fixes the nand, yes I'll try, but there still is not, so......... will try maybe later.
On the other hand, I was around a month with miui, it has kernel3(not oc) in it and everything is fine now. Now I'm with bhargz16's aokp, which also is with kernel 3, will see what happens.

Say, is Wi-Fi toggle /Wi-Fi turning on from settings work for you, when you're on kernel 3?

Yes it works nice, still haven't got wi-fi on, stucking, for now I can't say anything bad about the rom. Once it showed 'autenticaion error'(or something similar) but when rebootet the router, it connected fine. No issues so far, first flash wasn't good, it screwed up while flashing mounts2sd, flashed the rom again, this time first mounts2sd, then gaaps, now it's fine. I'll stick with 3 kernel while it's fine, if screwes me up......... well, my bad.
