Which version of Google Play Store are you running? You may need yo update with the newest version .apk file. Also, some applications are local storage only -meaning you are not able to move to your sdcard. Which size/class sdcard are you using, and have you tried clearing data and or wiping cache partition and/or Dalvik cache?

Actually, try clearing the google play cache. Not Dalvic cache.

clearing cache and dalvik is just one of those things that sometime magically fixes things. Like restarting your computer when it acts up. it won't hurt anything at all, you won't notice a speed hit at all. If you wipe dalvik cache the first boot after it will take for ever (a few minutes), but then it will be fine.

Memory is space for running programs. So yes, you will run out of that.
Internal storage would be something different. Though some apps may still get installed to your internal memory regardless of what you tell it.
then what i can do
i lose memory eevery min with doing nothing

Can't Install From Market or Amazon App Strore

Over the past few days, I've been unable to install new apps or update existing ones from the Android Market or the Amazon App Store on my Samsung Infuse with a 32 GB MicroSD Card.
In the Android Market, it will usually say there is insufficient space to install or it will perpetually sit at "downloading" In the Amazon App Store, it will download the app but it will perpetually sit on INSTALLING and never complete.
I've done several reboots, sever cache clears, battery pulls, unmounting of the SD card and even booted without SD card and then back again. I've seen other fixes like moving apps off the SD card and back on and that is too troublesome.
Could it be the recent updates to the Android Market? If so, why would it affect the Amazon Appstore?
I removed the updates from the Market...same problem with both markets...so I tried a regular APK file..gets stuck with INSTALLING.
More than frustrating now...
What rom are you guys running?

Clear Data on both apps
I've done that...I am starting to wonder if the data on the external SD is getting corrupt.
I just yanked my 32 GB card and tried a few installs on internal card and it works like a charm. Any suggestions on how to prevent memory card corruption? I didn't seem to have this problem on my Captivate with a 16GB microSD.
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions...I believe it may be the 32GB MicroSD card as this is the third time this occurred and my wife's phone with a 16 doesn't seem to have this issue. I went back to a 16GB card and everything installs...for now...except for a larger program which says I have insufficient space to install.

Can't install new apps from Google Play, "insufficient storage" message

Hi,
I installed the route 66 stock rom on my Verizon Galaxy S3, and now am getting the "insufficient Storage" error on Google Play when I try to install apps. I have lots of room on the internal and the external SD cards. I've tried clearing the data on Google play, but still won't work. Any ideas on how to fix it?
If you Google search insufficient storage space Google play there is some good info
Could this be your problem:

Are the apps you are trying to install ones you have installed before?

Not so many. I have lots of space on both the internal sd card and the external card.
I'm getting frustrated with this, considering wiping phone and starting from scratch, but no point unless I understand what's wrong.
Did you use lucky patcher on this app?

You have to deo-odex the app first, then install normally.
Fixed it
After trying a lot of things, I gave up, backed up everything with Titanium Backup, wiped my phone in recovery, and install the new Synergy Rom. Now works fine, and I can install apps fine. Don't know what was wrong, but just in case I installed Cache Fixer for future issues.

Can you tell me how much space has the Galaxy S3 for Intallation of apps? Confers with what I read on other sites: 2GB? My S2 had 16 GB internal, but only 1.75 GB for installing apps! ! Thankful!

yes, ive done that as well, just no luck at all....I don't know what to do I can't install anything
If its rooted I'd go back to stock completely and take it back if it still isn't working... If it works on stock rom then try rooting again and see if there's a problem again 1st...

A little problem with space

Hi! As said, I have a problem with space. I installed cm10.1 and it had the correct space but then I installed stock again. I have now 1.97gb. Is this fixed with installing 10.1 again and then formatting system and all and then installing stock?

Anyone?

Btw. I now have Cm10 and it installed fine. The space problem still persists. Going to try installing CM10.1 now and then format system and THEN (again) install stock. Would that work?
Try going into recovery>mounts & storage>format /sdcard. Copy your sd card to your computer first and restore it after.
