You void the warrenty by rooting the phone... but that's a standard idea
Like any "root" access to a system, anything you grant that level of access to can circumvent basically any and all security on the device. You basically give the "master key" to anything you grant root access to, but that is the intent -- just think before you grant.
If you only occasionally truly need root access (which is often the case), you can always "temp-root" the device with adb, do what you need from that shell, and never grant root access to user-land programs.
How do I temporarily root it? I only need to.delete some of the apps that came with the phone
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA Premium App
Just Admin rights.
Why would I loose acess to those
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA Premium App
Wrong context, All you gain with rooting is Admin rights...
However if you just want to clear some of the bloatware out then a temp root from the shell would be best way to go. You should be able to use the SuperOneClick method for that.
But by temp root you mean root take off bloatware then unroot
Right?*

temp root, for me, means gain root through adb shell, do what you need to, then exit
For some reason my superuser app is not asking me if i would like to allow superuser permissions. It just automatically denies things. How do i fix this
try update su from the settings of the superuser app
I'm having the same problem I currently have ics ota straight from Google and used one click method to unlocked my phone to return to gingerbread but superuser doesn't seem to be working ... idk if I did something wrong

I did a factory reset cause some issues where occuring, now none of my root apps are working, SU is still there but it fails to get itself root access when it updates. Do i need to re root? With super one click?

Use root checker to confirm?
You can also see if super user app is there in your applications...
ofcourse you can check that by downloading root checker app from play store.

Just reflash.
Like lumin says reflash. Use the second link in his signature.
However what rom are/were you on?If it is not a stock based rom dont use the reset feature within the phone use the one in recovery.
Thanks lumin you continue to be a trusted advisor. I flashed
a stock gingerbread from lumin last week.

So since i'm about to flash i'm a little interested in a different ROM. Are there any perfect roms for this device?

Perfect is a hard statement to make. Any of the ICS flavors are pretty stable there are bugs but even stock roms have bugs. I think barebones by antonx is a good one and VB by FB is too.
Is it add simple as installing stock GB was using heimdall? I've read good things about VB would you possibly post a link? Most I click on are dead/inoperable...

Actually I think it did. But since your so quick to make BASELESS accusations I will explain. I'm new and didn't really know where to put it. After my first post I decided it fit better elsewhere. Tasks for inquiring jacka**

Had that problem before u just reflash the ROM. As long as u can still go to cwm recovery
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
It un rooted itself again! Wth. I dont have cwm. How do I get that?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda app-developers app
Run Gremlin Remover and go from there. You will have root and CWM to flash the ROM you want.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=22596598
I'm not sure that I understand the cwm. Click work mod? I put that on my CPU and tether it with the market app? Sorry this is still very new to me...

Is there a difference between different apps?
Does it matter if I use ROM Manager, ROM Toolbox, or TW recovery? Or do they all do the same thing essentially?

They pretty much do all the same thing. Just as the term implies fixing permission is changing it from one setting to another. It wont magically fix a broken app but if after flashing a ROM and it does happen then most likely its because of permissions. For example it makes a file be writable or something and if you cant edit a file sometimes an app just doesn't work so thats were you see FC's on a new ROM install without permissions being fixed.
I haven't used rom manager since installing twrp. You can fix perms from within twrp. Imho RM is no longer a necessary app.

Sorry guys I'm new to XDA so i have to pots only in Q&A section.
I installed Ported JW8 v2 SAUROM Project rom days ago, its been running ok, very quick rom, the only problem its that i can't manage the root access for the applications, it seems to be that it not working.
does anyone knows any fix?
thanks
Is superuser installed? If so go to it, and go to settings and enable root. Should be OK.
If its not installed it might be the ROM didn't default it.
You could probably one click easy root. Just like the stock Rom.

I had the same problem. I believed that somewhere in the thread the op listed a flash able zip that would fix the Superuser problem.
Here you are:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34358973&postcount=38
I had a similar issue once, just telling superuser to allow that app fixed it. But I'm guessing previous poster was the answer
