[MOD/SCRIPT]CPU Editor - BEST Battery Life - LG Optimus 3D

Has anyone tried this script on their optimus3d http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1584508 ,if so has it mad a difference to the battery, and if so could you be kind enough to post your settings .
I guess since there's various kernel/rom( a good thing lol), could you also post which rom and kernel you are using aswell thanks!

I have it downloaded but forgot to test it.

Works can't figure out how to completely kill second core

i dl and flashed this trying out battery saver see how it goes

Let us know rom/kernel on that power saver mode don't seem to make a difference on mine? Idk maybe its just me though
Sent from my LG-P920 using Tapatalk

I dont see any difference as well, for now.
Mode:Battery saver.
Rom: Prometheus 1.4,
Kernel:Samnos superstock.
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda app-developers app

Okay so maybe that mode is bummed out for us for now hopefully we can get this fully working and also get some kind of core controller app going
Sent from my LG-P920 using Tapatalk

Okay so I found out what power saver is it lowers you to minimum values and turns off your second core
Sent from my LG-P920 using Tapatalk

So over night here is my battery life on power saver using
Rom cm7.2+ 1.5 pudding
Kernel whatever comes with the rom

These isn't a very good basis.
You'll need to charge to 100% and then let the battery drain.

So the battery saving option is only for screen off if so well that's pretty good I wounded if there's a way to turn one core off totally cuz I don't ever play games on my phone just text and call well see I got work tomarow so then ill be able to compare
ok so im running acidhazard 4.2 with thiazo3d 1.2 kernel with tweakzv6 also running simple home launcher from LG. i turned the max cpu speed of secound core to 300mhz and put it on power saving profile ill report back with battery info after using for a couple days at work.
wish i could use samno's kernal with undervolt that would probly give me awsome battery life, but i get no service with his kernel.
ok bad idea to turn one core all the way down got kinda jumpy and laggy veiwing xda web site lol ill try finding a sweet spot

Faux123 kernel for Weapon 3.0?

I just got my G2X and just flashed Weapon 3.0 but I feel like it kills my battery. So I wonder if I can use any faux123's kernel with it?

Reset the battery stats and let it run for a couple of days. The kernel included with Weapon 3.0 is the most battery effecient one. I get 14-24 hours depending on use.
Faux123 0.1.3 I haven't had a random reboot yet and getting much better battery life oc at 1200 MHz

Wow! That is a hot score. Hmm...I have tried custom kernels on some other roms with mixed results (probably my fault). Anyway, I am willing to give it a try again. What is the best way to back up the original kernel in case I want to reinstall it? Of course their is a nandroid back up, but is there a simple way to back up just the kernel?

Airplane mode, you shouldn't be boasting about battery life really, you're misleading people!
This is what I get with about medium use.
ROM: Brainmasters MIUI 2.2.17
Kernel: Matrix 17.0.
Frequency: 1050 max 210 min.
Gov: Lazy
Live OC 105.
Arm voltages dropped by 25.

Try Matr1x
I can get 2d battery life with ICS and Matr1x kernel and very minimal usage. Get the kernel from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1361477.
For monitoring battery usage, I use https://market.android.com/details?id=ccc71.bmw&hl=en.
This was achieved with ICS 4.0.3 (CM), Matr1x kernel 1.5, deep idle enabled, Wheatley governor. Since this, I have updated to Matr1x 17.0 and stopped using deep idle because of instabilities. Battery life is still acceptable but varies day-to-day but is still almost always over 1d.

It may be something you may have done.
Did you by chance flash some tweaks on top of zeus?
is this 5 days battery life like even with data and wifi on and if so is it with the ics theme added or no and if yes what are you guys doing and what battery are you using to achiueve this insane battery
In my experience the only way to get that kind of battery life is to basically not use it much. Which defeats the purpose of carrying it around. I use the internet quite heavily, text occasionally, gps, bluetooth and wifi typically stay off and with that usage I might be able to squeeze out a day and a half. Just my experience.

I agree Zeus has excellent battery life, 2-3 days all the time. I will say that I had to reflash Zeus once because I couldn't seem to get more than 6 hours out of the battery, I just chalked it up to a bad flash.
I'm having bad battery life too...I get good battery on the first day after a reboot or something but after that its back to 10 hours

I am defending my phone.
You can all see that post in Android group, face book.

I got a score of 3154... When compared to Optimus 2X, I noticed its the I/O score that is skewing the results. Maybe that's the case with your result as well, coz Integer/CPU, Memory, 2D, and 3D scores are comparable to 2X, and sorry to say this, pretty low compared to other high-end phones. But with the current score, our device is placed above Atrix 4G.
And I am on stock rom ZSLE6 and stock kernel.

Lean Kernel has amazing battery life undervolted!

Out of all the kernels I have messed with and tweaked voltage settings with, lean kernel has given me the best on JB. I did not overclock though. Here is a screenshot. Took my phone out of the charger at 9:00 AM today. It is currently 6:37 PM.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 2
Yes really! And it is amazing. Use system tuner. Or another system tuning application. And you can do quite a bit. Very handy.

Undervolting is more for stability, yes it saves some battery but nothing drastic Imo. I usually UV if I feel the device is getting too warm while in use.
You don't need to do anything to undervolt Leankernel, it's undervolted by default.

That isn't true of the newest ones. You have to at least run the lkconfig script and tell it to allow undervolt.

Lk is not UV'd by default. You have to use Term Emu to even get the UV to stick. Guys please don't add things when u dont know what ur talking about, especially kernel related stuff. Very easy to brick a phone messing with the kernel. And for those who want to UV LK, please go to RootzWiki and use Imoseyon's chart for UV, if you UV too much you will run into problems. Its on page 142. I used his guide and LK and I easily get 24+ on a charge with 3-4 hrs screen time.
Btw LK 1.7 just released last night!

Went to page 142 but not sure I understand the slow/nominal/fast aspect. Which setting is under-volted for better battery life? System tuner shows me running the slow number settings.
