Hello All,
This is the package for HTC Plurk + odex from the HTC Desire HD Taiwanese Asian RUU.
However, no matter how I push it into /system/app and such, it doesn't seem to run.
Here I am calling out for efforts to hack it and put it in our ROMs.

Have you tried to change permissions after from system/app using root explorer? They should change to r/w, r, r

I have checked it thru.
My friend said that it have not been de-odexed. Anyone have the right tools for the job to de-odex it?

Try these. I've deodexed them but I can't test them (i'm not using a sense rom).
Edit: One sec, reuploading the other one. Ok, download them both again.

Alright, got it working. (not quite though).
There's some graphical bugs, could it be ironed out? How's the deodexing process like, was the compression level too much or something?
THE GOOD NEWS IS .. Friendstream works! The plurk app managed to integrate into friendstream. However, the Plurk widget failed, and it will cause HTC Sense to crash.
The plurk app looks something like that - Clearly flawed app there.

I am not too sure, I do not need to downgrade my ROM in order to S-Off, so I dont think its 1.72.
Does that help?

*Instructions*
These are flashable through cwm recovery!
1.Make a nandroid back up so you can return back if you don't like.
2. Make sure you made a nandroid back up.
3. Download zip file below.
4.Place on SD card.
5. Boot into recovery.
6. flash from recovery.
7. Reboot and enjoy.

Your more then welcome to use my scripts until you learn, just replace the apk with the new one. I usually use signpk.

I'm running the coredroid 4.9 rom and I get an error message. I know u said it would only work on standard rom. Figured I'd ask if you could tell me how to apply it.

Not sure but I don't think its the same method to use this froyo based lockscreen on gingerbread roms.
Aren't the scripts different because of the framework?

There are a few problems with this the update scripts from froyo are quite different from those for ginger bread.
The second problem is that the apk is from a non-themed rom, so you would loose the custom slider .
it is possible though.

one silly question, is it possible to port new tw launcher from JB to ics404. I like new launcher, but I cant deal with that little bugs in the leaked JB, and need my note for daily use, I use it alot. ics works perfectly for me, if anything I'll wait for official version of JB.

i think that is not working for me, just tried, i forgot that i am on stock odexed xxlrt. stucked on a samsung bootlogo. replaced my old seclauncher2.apk in your .zip, now its fine, but old . can i ask you how to make flashable zip for odexed rom, sorry for interupting (is it enough to replace some files and add lines in updater-script in your flashable zip file? sorry for noob question, i am just a regular flashoholic :silly

Sense 4.5 Keyboard asking dev help for a port. I flashed it and it kinda works.

So I was on Nocturnal MergeX,and I decided to flash the HTC_IME out of newtroot ported sense 4.5 ics rom.
well I did and the keyboard works but cashes and the setting and faces don't work.
Maybe a dev that knows more about porting can take a look into this.

now I changed some code in the AndroidManifest to match the sense 4.1 keyboard,but I don't know if that did anything.
Well anyways would be really cool if one of you guys could get this to work on sense 4.1
I have add the zip I flashed. If anyone wants to look into it more.

From my experiences. Sense apps do not like to work on AOSP roms.

If it was sense based but a senseless ROM it may cause issues
I know with recent sense versions that system apps aren't as easily interchangeable with previous sense versions

Just to be clear on which rom I was on at the time I did this. It was Nocturnal MergeX.

I ain't to sure if this will work on here,but I've been trying for weeks lol,everything works except it fc's when u use the keyboard in landscape/horizontal mode,maybe someone might no of a fix,here's 2 screenshots as I type this and a link to my keyboard,I have 2,a coloured & stock look version,also if any1 knows the exact files needed for htc_ime such as lib/bin/jar if any,then I could fix it no problem

Scarcely a day has passed since the Google Play Edition Galaxy S4 and HTC One went on sale, and their software bits are already floating around online. You can grab the files to get the new red SunBeam live wallpaper, boot animation, and updated camera app on your device.
The new boot animation is a group of spinning Google-color dots. It's a nice-looking animation and it's not hard to install.
Instructions :
1.Place the ZIP in SD card
2.Go to Recovery
3.Just flash it.
Bootanimation : HERE
The camera app has the updated finger-friendly setting menu, volume toggle shutter control, and probably some other tweaks,can be installed normally : CAMERA
The live wallpaper can be installed normally. The file is right here : SUNBEAM

I have the same issue with TWRP but on the HTC One. Did you find a solution? Maybe flashing this with CWM will make a difference?

I flashed the bootanim on HTC One but it looks like it has been resized to a much smaller resolution,don't you have the original file?
