i was in odin mode updating the firmware but give and error soo i decide to reboot te phone and now i see this image and dont boot a cant get the phone in odin mode help me please how can i fix this problem.
That's another download mode if Odin doesn't read it then pull battery put it back in hold volume buttons and connect to PC and ull see it turn on to that screen again and Odin recognize it

I have a Samsung Fascinate that will not boot, i get a black screen with a cellphone a ! in a yellow triangle and a computers. The 3 button method will not get me into download or recovery! takeing out the battery and plugging into usb with the volume up button down doesnt work either. I tried plugging it into the computer but adb nor odin would detect it(yes i have the right drivers) please help ive hit a wall
Try plugging in with the battery out and the volume down button pressed until the download mode shows up. Btw may I ask how you got yourself into this mess?

as stated in the first post i have tried that method to get into download mode. and i got into this mess trying to get clockwork on the phone (did not install properly) and trying to put samsung fasinate (verison) rom on it... oops lol?
Actually in OP it says you pressed the volume up button. Volume down is what gets you into download mode.

Found the solution that worked for me. I had to plug in the usb hold volume down then pop in the battery to get it to go into download mode.
Ohh usually it goes with the battery popped out.

That is how you get into download mode on the Verizon Fascinate. Why are there all these guesses all over the internet? That is how you do it.

Was trying to reimage this phone using Odin v1.3 a usb malfunction error message came up Ive been trying to use it to several computers since then, but the same message kept coming up and of course the odin could recognise the devise and i went up turn the phone on normally all i have is a black screen with a phone and yellow explanation and computer logos on the screen the explanation sign is in between the phone and computer logos and now I can not do anything with this phone...I think my only option is for somebody to help me to find some image that will run on the SD card instead of the USB port.

i have a serious problem i tried to download the new Stock DEODEXED KC1 rom got failed in odin v1.7 then when i tried to put it back in download mode it just shows me a phone and pc with a triangle in the middle error logo. no matter what i try doesnt work at all!!!

dont panic!.. remove and replace the battery.. press up + down vol then plug USB cable. you will get the same screen but you will hear a sound from your computer that the usb is plugged in. then flash again.. once its completed it will back to normal.

Yes try restarting your pc
Open odin v1.7
Take battery out, put battery back in
Then Hold up + down volumn keys then plug usb
You will/will not get the downloading screen but don't be scared
Look on your odin flasher and make sure it is connected to com 3 or com 5(it will be highlighted in yellow), if it is then your good
Put the deodexed kc1 file in the pda tab and make sure re-partition is unticked
Then hit start, might take a bit longer but it will surely revive your phone

Mine worked on com4. The com number is of not importance.
i had the same issue
Unplug usb
Reset odin.
Reload file on pda
Reconect usb
Try again to flash
If it continues failing, download the rom again

still waiting halfway downloaded. after is done do i wipe data, cache, dalvik or just restart!

now am stuck on the galaxy s 4g logo!!!
I used Odin 3_v1.0 and it worked. You need to remove the battery and reflash with Odin. If you get the phone and computer symbol just remove the usb cable, re start odin and connect the cable to your phone and try again. You do not need to remove the battery. I was able to flash my that way.
now when i try to install it fails right before its almost done weird!!! tried it 4 times already same thing every time!

Close Odin. Disconnect phone. Pull battery. Put battery back in, while holding both volume buttons plug in cord. It will show the error on your phone again. Start Odin again. Load rom in PDA section. Click start. You can wipe user data and cache. And click reboot. Then give it time to rebuild. Ten minutes. The reboot again to clear up bugs.

It will go into recovery when it reboots itself after you flash with Odin.

I tried all that it seems i dont have recovery cause when i install threw odin it doesnt bring it to recovery just shows glaxy s 4g logo!!! And i tried the up and down volumes that didnt work either i am so stuck wow!

When you flash with Odin just leave it alone for awhile. While its flashing give it ten minutes. When its done it should be in recovery. Then just hit the power button to reboot.
If it doesn't work you have other issues. Did you flash it with a pit file? Do not flash this phone with a pit.

Yes i did some guy put up a pit file and i flashed it and my phone went blank!
Ok i was flashing my phone on odin but it was stuck on set partition so i unplugged it now when i try to boot my phone it shows a white screen. i boot in download mode but still a white screen, my computer picks up my phone but odin does not! please help.
Use qkster one click hemidall seems to work when. Odin wont

That screen maybe a DL mode but not guaranteed this is where a Jig is always helpful.
Try this: Remove battery then put it back hold both volumes and insert cable this should put u in DL mode.

tried downloading the CM9 and i didnt have the right bootloaders so now to fix it i have to get into download mode to flash uck12 bootloader but now the phone doesnt go into bootloader so what can i do to get into download mode?
Battery out.
Plug in USB to phone and computer.
Hold volume up and volume down...NO POWER BUTTON.
Put battery back in.
Should get you to download mode. Flash bootloaders.

Use odin to flash it! Just pull out the battery, insert it again und hold vol + and vol - while you plug it in your computer. Then itshould be in dlmode and yiu can flash it with odin or heimdall!

ok i see the little android construction sign but computer isnt picking it up and no idea what to do with odin its i0920t btw
I am running into the same problem. I tried connecting via ODIN but when I put my phone in download mode it does ODIN does not pick it up. I am using ODIN 1.85.
