hi there,
first of all, you should root, after that go here and spend half an hour reading the solutions.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1414214

The best and fastest way of rooting the device samsung galaxy tab plus 6210 is following these instructions:
Download the rooting package (root.zip, 154.4 kB) and save the file to your computer. Do not extract the file.
Connect your tablet to your computer.
Copy root.zip to the microSD card of your tablet. You can use Samsung KIES for this.
Disconnect your tablet from the computer.
Turn off your tablet.
Reboot your tablet into recovery mode. You can do this by pressing the Volume Up button and Power Button at the same time. When the tablet turns on, release the Power button while keeping the Volume Up key pressed until recovery loads.
Once booted into recovery, navigate to Install update from external storage.
Locate the root.zip file and tap the Power button to select it. This will initiate the rooting process on your tablet.
Go back to the main recovery menu and reboot your rooted tablet.
Install the following app from the Google Play Store:
Download Superuser. Run the app and update the su binary. And you have already rooted your device. congratulations!!!!
Say thanks does not cost anything!!!!!!
Download the attachment file!!!!

Ok, so I FINALLY rooted my Samsung Vibrant (SGH-T959) - here's how!

Hey all,
I've been trying all the various one-click root apps that are on here, and none of them have worked for my T-Mobile Vibrant (Android 2.1 update 1).
I did find some other threads/posts elsewhere that mentioned copying the update file to the main sd, then booting to recovery, then installing the update.zip.
After a bunch of variations of trying to boot to recovery and not having the "install update.zip" to the zip file being the wrong file for the phone, I found an answer. Here's how I rooted my SGH-T959:
Go here to get the proper update file. Download the zip and rename it "update.zip".
Connect to your computer via USB and make sure you mount the drive. My Windows 7 box recognized the phone immediately, but my XP box at work didn't. If you need drivers, you can get them here
Copy the update.zip file over to the main sd card.
Unplug the phone and power down.
To boot to recovery console on my phone, I had to hold Volume + and - and the power button all at once. I let the "Virbant" text pop up twice before letting go of the buttons.
The phone boot to recovery console. Using the Volume +/-, navigate to "install packages" and then press the power key.
WOOT! you've rooted the Samsung Vibrant!
Hopefully that'll help - it was a real pain in the ass for me to find this info, but it works.
Update.zip not working to root my Vibrant
I do the steps and it looks as if it is installing, then it reboots but I can't get root access still.. WTF??
Download Z4 Root from the Android market - it works.

[Q] help pls proleplem with root on p6200

help pls problem with root on p6200
when i was root by this way i have issue
1) Install USB driver for Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus to transfer files between the Android device and computer.
2) Enable USB Debugging Mode on the tablet to connect the Android device with the computer and use the Android SDK with it. [Press Menu>> Settings>> Applications. From there navigate and click on Development option and ensure the USB Debugging Mode is turned on.]
3) As the tutorial might wipe all data of the phone, create a backup. If the device is having any custom recoveries such as CWM/TWRP already installed then backup data using the recovery.
4) The device should have above 80 per cent of battery charge.
5) The Galaxy tablet should be factory unlocked and not locked to a particular carrier.
6) The tablet will lose manufacturer's warranty once it is rooted. However, users can reclaim the warranty back by unrooting the device later.
7) The recovery file and the Superuser file work only on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus P6200. Applying these on any incorrect variant might brick the device. Therefore, verify the model number of the Galaxy device by selecting Settings>> About device>> Model number.
Steps to root Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus GT-P6200 on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and Install CWM Recovery
Step-1: Download CWM recovery file for Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus to the computer
File name: GT-P6200-Recovery-tar.md5
Step-2: Download CWM flashable SuperUser zip. Copy it to the SD card of the tablet
File name: Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip
Step-3: Download Odin 3.07 and extract the downloaded zip to the computer
Step-4: Switch off the Galaxy tablet and boot it into Download Mode by pressing and holding Volume Down and Power buttons together
Step-5: Launch Odin on the computer
Step-6: Connect the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus to the computer using USB cable while it is in the Download Mode. Wait until Odin detects the tablet. When the tablet is connected successfully, the ID: COM will turn yellow with COM port number. Also, an Added message will appear in Odin indicating successful connection
Note: If the Added message does not come then try another USB port, try the one located at the back side of the computer. If that too does not work then re-install USB driver.
Step-7: In Odin, click the PDA button and select GT-P6200-recovery.tar.md5 file
Step-8: Verify the Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time checkboxes are selected in Odin. But uncheck the Re-Partition option
Step-9: Finally click the Start button in Odin to begin the installation process which would take few minutes to complete. Once the installation process is completed, a PASS message will appear under Odin indicating successful installation. The tablet will then reboot automatically
Step-10: Once the tablet boots up, turn it off. Then boot the device into recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Up and Power buttons together
Note: In recovery mode, use the Volume keys to scroll between options and use Power button to select the desired option.
Step-11: In recovery mode, scroll down to and select install zip from sdcard then select choose zip from sdcard. Now navigate to the Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip file which was earlier copied to the SD card of the tablet
Step-12: Select it using the Power button and confirm installation by selecting Yes on the next screen
Step-13: Once the installation process is completed, return to the main recovery menu and reboot the tablet by selecting reboot system now
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus should be now rooted successfully on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with ClockworkMod recovery installed. To verify the root, open the app drawer of the tablet and look for an app called SuperSU from the list. Also, to ensure the root access, install Root Checker app from Google Play Store.
when select Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip says

Turn off signature verification in CWM.
I dont use CWM personally but I would say check under Advanced or Settings if it has that option while you are booted into CWM.

[Q] GT-P5113 Root problems, SuperSu binary issue. Could sure use help.

Tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (GT-P5113) Wifi only.
OS: Android 4.2.2 Jellybean
Build#: P5113UEUCMK3
So here is what I have done:
Ran Odin v3 1.85 and pushed CF-Auto-Root-expresso10wifi-expresso10wifibby-gtp5113.tar.md5
I followed the instructions to the letter. The Odin process runs, red Android screen....tablet process runs...neither process reports errors...No Root.
When I try SuperSU I get "There is no SU binary installed...." blah blah see it all over the forums but nothing I have tried has fixed either problem. I even put the SuperSU.apk on a micro SD and it won't install over to replace the binary. SuperSU does not show up in my Applications list so I cannot remove it.
So I did hard resets, wiped cache etc..
No change.
Next I downloaded the factory ROM P5113UEUCMK3_P5113XACCND2_HOME.tar.md5 from Samsung and pushed it over successfully.
No change.
I cannot get root to take so I cannot manually remove SuperSU using a file manager (requires root)
I would really like to get my tablet rooted so i can install other apps.
Any one with information that will help me solve this will be my new hero...briefly...
Thanks in advance!

Yes I did.
I'm having the exact same problem with my P5110.
Is anyone really gonna help here?
I have the same issue with GT-P3113.
To root or not to root?
Which one is it people? If you can't file explore because you don't have root you just delete SU from your apps (Manage apps) drawer.
Then you just go about your typical rooting, following the Op instructions and your done.
Pp.
I can only turn on and off supersu, can't delete or uninstall it.
Also despite turning it off and checking the appstore, there's no uninstall button, even when I did update it with a new apk it still won't do anything. Still says the same thing. no Binary and can't even install one.

As I mentioned SU is not in my App manager and therefore cannot be removed. I attempted to download and install the SU apk from micro SD and it failed.
So I am stuck with no root and unable to get a file manager running to manually remove SU.
I have the same problem with my P3113
Do you have a custom recovery (CWM or TWRP) installed? If so you can download and flash the latest SuperSU.zip
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium HD app
Well I had the exact same problem, and I think that the SuperSU included on the CF-Auto-Root file is outdated or something.
I was on android 4.2.2 but I have the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 P5110.
I searched the forums and came up with a solution for our problem. I think that SuperSU is outdated on that CF-Auto-Root file or it was the custom recovery that it installs thats outdated or messed up for android 4.2.2, because right after it does its thing, we get the tablet default recovery again.
Since I dont know how to make a new CF-Auto-Root file, I tried to install an updated custom recovery through Odin3 instead of the CF-Auto-Root file, and it worked. Then I entered on the TWRP recovery and installed an updated SuperSU, restarted the tablet, and it worked too. I had now a rooted tablet with a permanent custom recovery, So i followed to install a custom rom, etc.
So now the steps I did:
(I am not responsible if it doesnt work for your tablet and messes something up or brick it, so please follow on your own risk, or maybe wait for some expert on this things to say if its safe or not. All i know is that it worked for me.)
Step 1: Download Stuff
Download and install samsung usb drivers
Go to Samsung website and search for your device. Go to downloads and download the USB Driver and install it.
Download Odin3 1.85_3
Go to this topic and download Odin3 3.85_3 from the "What you need:" section. Extract it on your computer.
Download TWRP recovery
Go to TWRP website, click "Get TWRP for your device", search for 5110 (doesn't have the 5113 version, and I think that the 5110 is the same and works too), scroll down to "Download - Odin Flashable Tar:" and click the "5110 only" version. It will open another page, scroll down for the most recent version and download the .tar file. Extract it on your computer.
Download SuperSU for TWRP
Go to Chainfire website and download that SuperSU version for TWRP. Dont extract, just put it on your SD card for the tablet.
Step 2: Doing stuff.
Install samsung drivers, extract Odin to your computer and put the SuperSU file on your SD card for the tablet.
(To avoid confusion about using the Volume rocker switch, I'll refer to side closest to POWER button as LEFT/Volume DOWN and side away from power switch as RIGHT/VolumeUP. )
1: Turn off the tablet and restart it on download mode. To enter download mode, press Power Button + Volume Right. When the warning appears press Volume Left to enter download mode.
2: Now open Odin3 1.85, click PDA, select the TWRP .tar file you downloaded.
3: Make sure to uncheck the "Auto Reboot" option. The only checked thing must be "F. Reset Time".
4: Connect usb cable to tablet. Press start. When it finishes, the box will turn green and says "pass!" you can remove the cable.
5: Now press Power button + Volume Left. Keep pressing it, the tablet should restart and when the samsung galaxy tab 2 screen appears, let go of the power button, but keep pressing Volume Left until the TWRP recovery screen appears.
6: Now inside TWRP recovery menu, press Install. On the top part of the screen press Storage and and change to external storage or SD card. Now select the SuperSU file and install it by swiping that thing. After it install and says successful, press reboot.
Congratulations ! Now you have successfully rooted your tablet and you have a permanent custom recovery ! You can now install a custom rom, etc.
Some notes:
I used TWRP recovery because i used it on my smartphone. So thats what I learned to use, so I used it on the tablet too. Feel free to use other custom recovery and adapt the tutorial for it.
It worked for me. If it doesn't work for you, or something is failing on some step, try to read everything again and re-do.

* I based this on this topic and its replys (the last comment on this page.)

I just put together things from here and there, but without this persons, creators and stuff, we would not be able to make this happen.

Im usin a straighttalk SM-M820L. Is there any way any of this can be done without a pc? My phone is rooted tho. I used the {yup you guessed it} kingroot method and then i did the "replace kingroot with supersu" no pc method. Is there any tips or pointers that you could give me? I'm not using a pc because it was stolen a little while back and I just haven't had the spare cash to get another. Plus I just started tinkering with this and it's super more interesting than I thought. I'm trying to learn all that I can. Thank you for any help you can offer.
