Did anyone else have an update to the xda app after installing the new play store jelly bean leak? The older app version was better

I'm talking about the 4.1 version of the play store app.... Not a jelly bean leak. Just clarifying

I got the update without doing anything to my market. I wished I hadn't downloaded it. I hate it. I thought the blue and black color scheme of the old version matched the ics theme really well. This brown and orange, not so much. And yet it says "updated ui to better coordinate with ICS".
I guess its because brown and orange are xda's colors?

The colors of XDA premium have been brown and orange for a long time now. Don't see what the big deal is.

You can go into xda premium settings and change the display style. Changing it to simple matches the theme i'm using with cm9. So it would probably match the ics color scheme.

What do you guys think of it?
http://www.swiftkey.net/introducing-swiftkey-flow
Given that I consider SwiftKey the best keyboard out there for the way I use one, I think it would be an awesome topic for the Apps section!
>>> POOF <<<<
That was amazing!
I'm looking forward to trying it out. I did sort of like Swype, but it was just to buggy, its predictions too far off the mark, and no ability to edit the user dictionary made me leave it behind long ago.
Looks neat I signed up for the beta, tried out touchpal the other day, seemed too bloated but this looks somewhat promising. Thanks for the share.

It is explained on their support site here:
http://support.swiftkey.net/forums/...tion-to-use-swiftkey-predictions-everywhere-i
But, basically, there are two flags that android developers can use to let a keyboard know not to supply predictions. One of them is for a field that offers its own autocorrect. SwiftKey 3 behaves the same way. You can't flow anywhere that you don't have predictions. I hope that they change this and I hope that Google/Android changes how these flags work.
Just went ahead and downloaded this. Been wanting a nice swipe app. This works really well so far. Diggin the customization ability of it too.
Sucks battery like no tomorrow, from what I can tell. CM9 here.
I'm posting this in q&a cause I dunno is this is really dev worthy.
I ran the latest leak for the international SGSIII, and found two things of interest.
1. /system/app/FlashBarService.apk
2. /system/framework/multiwindow.jar
From the screenshots I've seen of this rom in action on the appropriate device, FlashBarService is the little Grey bar on the side of the screen that let's you choose what to open in MultiWindow (could be wrong though). Obviously the multiwindow.jar is the framework file for running multiwindow.
I ran FlashBarService.apk through apktool and saw the manifest didn't require anything from framework-res but needed the multiwindow jar to run.
I pushed the two files to my d2vzw in the appropriate places, set the permissions and ownership. Rebooted, and got nothing to show for it.
The FlashBarService.apk also seems to need the minimode.jar as well. Also, from the screenshots I saw, multiwindow has to be turned on in settings under display. So that's part of the puzzle too. I didn't have time to try and push the minimode.jar from the intl leak to my device cause I really really need to go to bed.
Any other thoughts on getting some quick and dirty multiwindow action?
I know this is by far the least elegant approach any wunderdev has seen, but it was late and I got inspired to try something silly.
Ta,
ALQI

I have been diligently searching for a functioning port of multi window to our i535's since the note 2 came out and from what everyone in the i9300/i9305 forums is saying multi window is deeply embedded in the framework of touchwiz and from what I've seen no one has successfully ported it the only reason they have multi window working on there devices it due to the 4.1.2 touchwiz leak they got a couple of days ago but if someone can get this to successfully work on our devices I would definitely donate to them I want multi window sooo bad

I saw this feature on sons of Android rom and I'm not sure what it does exactly. I would normally just flash and find out but I kind of want to stay with touch wiz right now. I'm just curious what it does, it may help push me over the edge. Thanks for any info.

So what does it do. Does it allow you to change the theme to your liking. Are there pre determined themes or does it allow you to make it your way.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda premium
You download an apk that themes your status bar and such
Only on aosp roms tho
You can find plenty by searching them through Google adding xda at the end.
I always go for those red themes tho but rats just my liking
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
I ran cm on my dx and dinc, if it's like that, you can theme status bar, icons, etc. But I'm not sure if it's the same. Search the market for cm theme to give you an idea.
